Good Morning All,

Not much to report this morning other than old man winter still has us in his grip.  This week we will climb into more April like weather.

I went to the Sandusky, OH train show Sunday, not much to report.  I picked up a D&H custom 50’ box car and 3 technical hand books from 1903, 1917, and 1933.  One of them was a RR ground surveyor’s book and an ERIE operations rules book. Spent a total of $15.

Early Morning in the Diner
Posted by galaxy on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 5:50 AM

GOOD MORNING!!!

Today Is May 1st, 2012!!!

Today is MAY DAY...Bring a bouquet of flowers to your love{s}...including Mother {If she is still wiht us}!!!

May -- Maia's month

Old French Mai
Old English Maius
Latin Maius "of Maia"
Latin Maius mensis "month of Maia"

Maius has always had 31 days.

Maia (meaning "the great one") is the Italic goddess of spring, the daughter of Faunus, and wife of Vulcan.

May
Not much about May. Originally named after the Roman goddess of fertility, Bona Dea, also known as the Greek goddess Maia, whose festival was held in May.

Birthstone – Emerald, meaning love and success
Flower – Lily of the Valley
.

Have A GREAT DAY!!!

Very Early Morning in the Diner
Posted by galaxy on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 1:39 AM

Very Early, but I couldn't sleep.

Well, My goodness...I see the place did not get the ususal necessary maintenance when it got moved.

SO: I will spit polish the Rivet Counter, Swab the floor with disinfectant cleaner, CLean the porta-potties, and service the dishwasher.

Hope everybody has their international vaccines!

Here I sit, fat, dumb and sleepless...Music

Good afternoon all,

I'm sitting here at w*rk waiting patiently for the day to end as I'm in a fair bit of pain, due to doing something to my coccyx (tail bone.) It is very difficult to sit and prolonged standing aches the feet... very uncomfortable. I'm on a course of Diclofenac 50mg 3 times per day which is helping alot.

Anywho back to w*rk.

That´s exactly the stuff I am taking right now, same dose. It does help with the pain, but gives me a funny feeling in my stomach.

Shared joy is double joy, shared pain only half the pain?
