Cresting here should be noisy enough?

Show me a 1945 automobile, say a van or delivery truck of some kind.

If it labours more than a couple of hours without a response, we'll go '45-'50.

This is the sign over the entracne to a rural stockyard. The building to the left is offices and the yard owner's residence. Dad made that sign out of Balsa, and I helped shape and place it.

Show me something noisy.

Show me a small rural industry.

I have to say it again, I love that scene of yours. I can't believe you tore it down. Are you planning something similar on your new layout?

Hmmmm.... I believe the request was for eastern us, period 1965-1975.  I can't make out the bottom loco too well, does this comply?

Not exactly Jarrell, that's a Great Northern loco [not seen anywhere near the East Coast] and, IIRC, all the steamers were gone by 1965...

I know this may be out of order, but here is a Walthers bridge that I added over 80 parts onto (mostly the beams, ladder rung type detail) & will someday be on a layout.

 P&Slocal:

Grampy posted the tall steel viaduct at the end of the last page(page 24). The Daylight was that last open request. Since Tom White filled it, he should ask for the next item.

Actually, Grampys requested  a blue, weathered boxcar at the bottom of page  24, so we should fill that in.

Tom

Actually MABruce had 2 of them in a pic, he asked for FRED, and that was done.......  So I think it your choice Tom.........! Wink

Well, this is about as close as I can come to a 3-light signal (which has since been replaced by a semaphore).

http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm310/TWhite-014/Rio%20Grande%20Yuba%20River%20Sub/DSC02248-1.jpg

show me a tall, steel viaduct.

Tom

That's not quite what was asked for. That's just a single head colour-light signal. The request was for a triple (3 heads) searchlight signal. Our club layout will have a few of those, but we haven't started making the signals yet so I don't have a model example, but here's a real one:

http://www.theboykos.com/gallery2/d/5333-2/2656-2220-Diamond-20080824-SLB.jpg

(from http://blog.traingeek.ca/2008/09/we-got-ourselves-convoy.html)

Good catch!

It was the triple searchlight signal that I was looking for.

Rich

Rich:

No WONDER I changed it out to a semaphore, LOL!

Still looking for a tall steel viaduct.

Tom Smile

Tom,

Next time around, I will ask for someone to show a semaphore.  Bow
