Nice veteran's park scene, Morgan.
Jarrell, thanks for keeping the ball rolling. Perhaps, somebody should have posted two U25B's and called it a U50.
Here is depot bustling a little with a small train. Gas electric and trailer coach.

Hi fellas. Let's do this... if a request has been 'up' for 2 hours with no responses someone should ask the person if they'd like to request something else. That would be the right thing to do. If there is no response, anyone can make a new request. But please, don't do it before a couple of hours have passed since the original request.
This very minute someone is trying to get a picture of their U50.. , but it's been long enough, see Ray's request above.
Jarrell
Ah... Thank you Jarrell.
Show me something in a Park.

howmus richhotrain: Time for another Show Me if we cannot come up with a u50. Rich Unfortunately thee modeler who has one of those evidently isn't following this particular thread (If there even is a modeler who has one of those thingies.....). So, Jarrell! You out there??? We appear to be stuck as no one has a U50 MS 149 AP dohickey with 16.7 wheels and lots of horsepower and stuff... Or what ever the heck it is! Help!

Yes, Athearn just released some in UP & SP colors, & should be in stores & on layouts now. Someone here 'must' have one??? I would, but unemployment = no new trains.
ChadLRyan Jarrell, thanks for the clarification on that. Ken, I would have done the same thing, when referencing the Prototype, Love the shot & the sandwiched lil GP9B. Still looking for the U50

Is there even a model of one? If so, I haven't see one before. This could be hard one to find...

It's no big thing..
I put it the rule in so that we could all see what other modelers are doing on their layouts. To me that has been the fun part of this thread. It is awfully tempting, don't ask how I know, to link to something that is very specific and not likely on very many modelers layouts, not saying U50s aren't on everybody's layout!
I'm just thankful you and so many others are participating!!
CSX_road_slug OOOPs - my bad! I thought that rule only applied to "official" show-me responses, not "side" conversations. [Notice I didn't ask for a new show-me subject?] I stand corrected... jacon12: To be fair to everyone, or at least try to be.. Copied from the original post.. "Please..., NO LINKS to a picture on another website somewhere. The answer MUST be posted in your reply. If a participant does that it should be ignored and another person can reply."

Motley I have to say it again, I love that scene of yours. I can't believe you tore it down. Are you planning something similar on your new layout?

Absolutely! In fact, the entire steel mill peninsula was the one chunk of the layout that was saved intact.
