27 x 34 inch N scale layout built 1971 after visiting West Berlin.  The elevated is supposed to be the S-Bahn, operated by the EAST Berlin administration, even the portion in WEST Berlin.

Show me something with row houses.

Well, this is about as close as I can come to a 3-light signal (which has since been replaced by a semaphore).

That's not quite what was asked for. That's just a single head colour-light signal. The request was for a triple (3 heads) searchlight signal. Our club layout will have a few of those, but we haven't started making the signals yet so I don't have a model example, but here's a real one:

Good catch!

It was the triple searchlight signal that I was looking for.

Rich:

No WONDER I changed it out to a semaphore, LOL!

Still looking for a tall steel viaduct.

Will This do for FRED?

Here is a DME Hopper with a FRED or EOT (end of train) device, blinking in the dusk of evening. It is a Ring Engineering unit & nicely done, it has the electronics in a wheeled truck & the EOT mounted on a coupler. Takes a little care to rust & weather it, but it is a nice easy install. The DME hopper is from Walthers & was weathered on the bottom & needs to have the rest done.

Lol... no, it's just that if someone requests something too specific the thread drops off into the nether regions and we have to find it and resurrect it again.     Smile

The request for the triple search light signal should turn up something.

Sir Madog

Sorry - does not work at my end of the Big Pond. Youtube won´t run the video, as it contains music from Sony Music Entertainment, which requires authorization in Germany.

Actually,it's because I violated "Show Me Something" rules by posting a link!  Smile, Wink & Grin  (Seriously, the music is "Take the A Train" by Duke Ellington.  For some copyright reason, YouTube blocks it, but only in Germany.

Anyway, still looking for that triple searchlight signal.

Ken,

Thanks, it's funny, I have one of those built & am building more transformers for it, have the towers, & a couple Atlas ones in the box.  At first I thought it was something railroady, like electrified rail switches or something. Well, I'll let that one go...

Rich,

Forgive my lack of terminology & RR knowledge, just what a "transmission line switch yard" ?   ...

It's an electric power substation with transformers and high-tension power lines, like this Walthers kit:

(Don't feel bad, I had to do a google search myself to find the answer!)Smile, Wink & Grin

This has been stuck for a while now.  Would you like to change the request to something a little more generic?  It's now 10:07 pm eastern daylight savings time, if no one comes up with the request by 11 pm someone can request something else.

What happened to the Show me something out of place.. If I read that wrong, My Bad. You have seen my gas station. So I will go to bed and see what we are ready for in the morning. This has been a great thred.

I think you may have, as I'm not entirely sure who "Out of Place" came from, I didn't see it before. Still a beautiful shot.

Tally is still for "Yard Office" (I have one, but I'll hold off a few more posts since  as on the last page, unless I get on and find this a ded thred. And does this work well enough, to re-up the request in off topic replies so they don't get buried?)
