Good Morning all [or whats left of it]....Don't have a fancy weather station but its sunny this morning with rain coming in later...I use to have to take care of weather stats at the station and learned how to read radar we had a old air craft radar that only scanned a 1/4 of a section at a time...Had to tilt it lots of ground cluter..You could follow a storm up to about a couple of miles from town then we lost it till it passed over...We had a monitor set up out in the lobby with a couple of chairs and it wasn't anything to see 5 or 6 farmers out there for a hour or two just watching the screen.....
Well I got the tunnel finnished need to "plant" some trees and touch up some spots....I am not real happy with the portal I was trying for a natural blasted out of the rock look but can't seem to get it look like what I can see in my mind..anybody else every have that problem...
Mike...Your mom is in our thoughts and prayers..If you need anything give us a holler...
Sallie got up feeling good made oatmal for breakfast then started feeling bad and went back to lay down and I need to go check on her...You all have a good day...
We will be in front of the TV tonite when the Cards take the 1st game of the WS from the Tiggers...Jerry
As I said earlier, layout work today. See? A work train is made up and ready to head out.
Be back on when I have time.

Hello everyone,
nice and sunny here, i'm just making up a curry for the evening meal, LOL what a lot of stuff going into it, just ate a red chillie pepper and compared it to a green one, not sure which was hottest as the first one killed my taste buds
Lisa sorry to hear the sad news Lisa, i'll be thinking about you husband.
James the BHP operation would be great to model but the cost of shipping the Ozzy stuff here would be to much,, for now anyway

Ditto! And thanks again to all for your support.
Lisa, sorry to hear of your loss, and the medical troubles. Our bodies are so frail, aren't they? I'll continue praying for you and yours. I posted this once before, but I think it applies here too. This was written by a friend of mine, Bart, a great Christian songwriter.
You're in a better place, I've heard a thousand timesAnd at least a thousand times I've rejoiced for youBut the reason why I'm broken, the reason why I cryIs how long must I wait to be with youI close my eyes and I see your faceIf home's where my heart is then I'm out of placeLord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehowI've never been more homesick than nowHelp me Lord cause I don't understand your waysThe reason why I wonder if I'll ever knowBut, even if you showed me, the hurt would be the sameCause I'm still here so far away from homeI close my eyes and I see your faceIf home's where my heart is then I'm out of placeLord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehowI've never been more homesick than nowIn Christ, there are no goodbyeAnd in Christ, there is no endSo I'll hold onto Jesus with all that I haveTo see you againTo see you againAnd I close my eyes and I see your faceIf home's where my heart is then I'm out of placeLord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehowWon't you give me strength to make it through somehowWon't you give me strength to make it through somehowI've never been more homesick than now
I hope you find comfort in Him.
So, whats on the adgenda for the day everyone?
Me, I'm catching up on schoolwork. Got lots to do. Gotta do a few hours of schoolwork, then go back to the house and pick up the kid that stayed the night last night with my son, drop him at home, chill for a couple of hours with the family, then head to church where we pick up another kid to stay the night with my son. He's quite the social butterfly I guess!
Well, I best get to it!
Later!

The man's sharp. I do indeed have a weather station. Here's the weather for my area today.

Humidity: 75%
Dew Point: 46°F

Now on with business.
Good morning, I'll have bacon and eggs today with a bit of orange juice.
I'm going to try to get some work done on the layout today. A general pickupo of things which shouldn't be there followed by sealing the surface of the drywall compound with shellac. After that's dry, a coat of brown paint followed by green in areas where foliage will go down. I'll then give Dave Volmer's sloppy method a try.
Lisa: My condolances on the passing of your MIL. I'm sure you will all miss her. I'll keep your hubby in my thoughts.
Not much happening here will talk to you all later.

Morning All:
PC: It isn't the first time I've been caught in the fall out. You did good and I thank you.
We hauled hay yesterday. Made two trips and finally got home about 9:30pm. I've still got to unload the trailers tonight. Not much else to report. Of course I'm at work now and will shortly have to go out and get the joint ready for our guests.
Jeff, you take care now. Rest is important to the healing process.
James: I'm happy to see that you have decided to stick around. We need to know that your side of the world hasn't fallen off. With PCs martian hanging around we can't be too carefull.
As the old indian said " I go now. " See you all later.

Lisa Sorry to hear about your MIL
PC I guess I was hoping that if he was ignored long enough it would quit and it did get a little farther in between, but there are some that just won’t let things go. It’s too bad that there is always someone in every hobby that will give it a bad name and I guess that is one of the facts of life. Don’t worry about if you dragged us into it or not because I for one don’t look at it that way and it could have been anyone of us.
Talk to you later

Evening all -
Not much to report today. Weather has been crap as of late and work has been taking up alot of my time. Anyway...moving on...
Lisa -
Prayers to you and your family. Just rememebr we're here and if you need to talk, we'll always listen, even if it's not about the rails. Right all?
Dick -
Sounds like the weather I had early yesterday, is what you've had earlier. Also, I see Francona has been selected as the Mgr for the team going to Japan this winter, replacing Ken Macha (sp?).
Ok all -
Time for some sleep. Night!
Take care!

Hunter - When we met in January of 2000, you were just a 6 week old pup who walked his way into this heart of mine as the only runt in the litter who would come over to me. And today, I sit here and tell you I am sorry we had to put you down. It was the best thing for you and also the right thing to do. May you now rest in peace and comfort. Love, Dad. 8 June 2010
I love you and miss you Mom. Say hi to everyone up there for me. Rest in peace and comfort. Love, John. 29 March 2017
Evening all!
Erik and I were working all afternoon to delete certain posts from the forum. We got a bunch, but there's so many that there still might be some we missed. RT was also reporting about the things going on. Thanks RT. It's nice to have support from others. Most of all, thanks goes to Bergie for keeping this a clean place!
I'd like to say that I'm sorry for my part in the offencive postings as of late. I was offended and I made it known. Maybe that wasn't the right action. I suppose it just spurred things on. I came to realize that made me a target and you all were innocent bystanders. Sorry that you all had to catch the flack.

Ya did good, son!

You know, I thought that I saw another repeat of that idiot's post show up again this morning, then when I checked back a bit later it was gone. Glad someone finally reported it. I think you're correct in your guess that Jerry's post got swept out with the other one.
Nice pix, by the way. Saved the best ones for last, did you!
Regards
Ed
Jerry You aren’t losing it. Your post might have been taken out with another person that has been posting every now and then and won’t let things go.
OzJim As the others have said, just because you are going to model your part of the world doesn’t mean you can’t stick around here and glad you will.
Dick They said your up front parking spot is safe and I need to go back tomorrow as well.
OH OH T.O.P. So belly up everyone.

Afternoon all and it is the WEEKEND!!!!
I plan on getting some more plywood, power supply for my DCC system, and treated plywood for the ramp that goes up to the side of the garage where I take the bike in and out. If I don’t I might not make it down or up the ramp all the way one of these days.
Ok,it’s Apex time again
These pics are of a frame that holds the engine to a paddle boat and a paddle on each side of the boat. It is only scale and Tony is building it during the winter months and he is also the owner of the property that the track site is on. He does have a model of the engine built that will go into the frame but I didn’t get any pics of it.
The next two,I think are the best of all I took. The first isn’t bad but I think the second one is the best.
That’s about it for now and I have some that are special to me that I will post tomorrow.
Best to all on sick call and those recovering

This has been a public anouncement.
Just a quick drop in today!
Glad to see James has decided to stay! You can model anywhere and still meet with the buds here in the CS.
Steak looks good Jeff, I'll have an order of those over here, Chloe!
Inch, you have been through the grinder a few times, eh! The only thing I ever broke was my heart once...
Duke, as always you got some great photos from Apex.
Thoughts and prayers to all in need.
