Well Good evening all –
Hope this finds everyone in good health. I’m sorry I have not been around the last few days (weeks?) but work has me being a very busy guy as of late. Not that I am working a lot of extra hours, but most days when I get home, all I do is take care of the cat and bird, then get my dinner, a shower and off to bed for some rest.
Anyway, I don’t have much to report on any front at this time. I’m slowly working the separation with the ex. She’s been sick as of late, so I have been helping her out in getting her son from daycare and taking him home to her after I get out of work. Weather has not been helping me with any exercising (rain, rain, go away…..) so I’ve been lounging and watching some good baseball and some so-so football. I have yet to watch any hockey, so I can’t comment on that yet.
James –
I am sorry to see / hear that you’re not going to come in to the CS as often. I agree with JW though. Even if you do want to model locally instead of something / place in the US, please don’t stop for that reason. We (I’m not speaking for everyone, but….) can always use new (different) ways of doing (thinking) things. And if it is not new, at least how you are progressing, what obstacles you are running into, as well as everything else that goes into building a layout and modeling a area or prototype. So, how about it???? Please???? Don’t leave us….
Dick / Ed –
Although nothing new has happened with the Sox, other than a new Pitching Coach, I have read a few articles on them talking to Loretta, Alex Gonzalez, and Trot. I guess we’ll have to sit back and wait till the Winter Meetings (we all know this is where all the work for the next season takes place anyways!).
OK all. Have a good evening. I’ll try to stop in more often, but I’m not going to guarantee it right now.
Take care!

Hunter - When we met in January of 2000, you were just a 6 week old pup who walked his way into this heart of mine as the only runt in the litter who would come over to me. And today, I sit here and tell you I am sorry we had to put you down. It was the best thing for you and also the right thing to do. May you now rest in peace and comfort. Love, Dad. 8 June 2010
I love you and miss you Mom. Say hi to everyone up there for me. Rest in peace and comfort. Love, John. 29 March 2017
Evening Gang:
Jeff: Thanks for the reminder on the diabetes. I’ve got type II and have been on meds for some time now. My last check up was last week and the doctor was very happy with things. He had my feet checked and there were no problems there. I’m trying to keep on the straight and narrow and check my sugars every morning.
James: You don’t have to run off just because you are going to model a local prototype. I’d like to hear and see about the RRs down under. You keep in touch, OK?
Mikesmowers: I am located about 10 miles west of Ft. Worth in Parker County. We are running a small ranch with about 20 cows. What’s going on up in OK?
Well I think I’ll head for bed. Have a good one all.

Steve The pics would be good and to see the type of equipment that is run on that side of the Big Pond.
PC You saw that, huh ?? Boy my arms were really tired after that and it takes longer to rest up now in my advanced years. Never thought about boats as planes had always been the big interest when I was younger. I took flying lessons after high school and managed to get 23hrs in a Cessna 150 before I went into the U.S.AIR FORCE . I did have more hours in things like the Piper Cub and Stinson Station Wagon, but that was before I was born,so I guess that is why flying always was a big interest. My Dad got his license on the GI bill after WWII.
Talk to you later

Tirpitz. You spelled it right.

Glad you enjoyed the website. It's not so easy, is it?
So the WAS you I saw the other day!
I thought about the planes, especially the sailplanes since I used to fly the real ones, but I just couldn't bear to crash all that hard work. I did do R/C boats for a while. Had a speed boat and a battleship, the Tirpitz (I don't think I spelled it right). Those were fun.

You will look back at your school days somewhere out in the future, and say" boy, I wish I could go back to those days with my friends, I wonder where they all are today". All you have to do, is read what we older people are saying, you can learn so much..."if" you are wise enough. Enjoy your youth, but do not abuse your good God given health in doing so.
I take any wisedome that is given to me. though spelling is still some what of an issue
Good evening to you,
RT great to see you back sir.
Dick Ah the operation, Bahh, it didn't work out well at all, i'm worse now than before, i has two MRI brain scan's a few week's ago to try and find out what's going on in the old gray matter, the nuro consultant thinks he knows what's happening but needed a scan to confirm his thoughts, just gotta await the results, at worst it's another op, oh well, at least i'll get a good sleep out of it
Dad's been back in hospital yesterday now he's home again and doing very well now the plumbing pipework's been removed
Duke we have a 7-1/4 gauge track near here, i'll get some shot's of it when i can
If anyone fancys a brew over the street i'm buying, we got a huge choice of hot and cold drinks to suit everyone
take care gent's
Afternoon all
Ryan
They must have pull out more stuff on Sunday, eh! Wish we could have stayed longer….
My Dad told me to enjoy my days in school and being younger because as you get older the time goes by faster. I didn’t really believe it at the time, but age sure does have a way of making things like that come true and not all of the best days are in your younger years. I hope to have more and Jerry I kind of like the idea of being worn out and screaming WWWOOOOO HHHOOOO What a Ride!!!! When the time comes.
Ok,if you are ready, here are some more of Apex
This is looking down towards the steaming bays
More of the yard and rolling stock
That’s about it for now,but more to come
Best to all on sick call and those recovering
Sounds like a good one to me.
