Well, I posted a year ago (or so) so I guess I can post again...

This is easily the most photographed (and videographed) scene on the entire layout!

Thanks for the bump.  This is a great thread.

Mine's not a new scene, but it's a new picture.  Dusk in Blackwater, Oregon:

Hi Jess: You've got a keen eye for details. Here's my plump, hair challenged, older guy lounging in front of the deli, letting his probably large meal settle.

This was on WPF last week.  There's more to it than meets the lens of the camera.

The traffic lights are the Walthers ones, and they sequence appropriately through red, yellow and green.  The "HOTEL" sign is from Miller Engineering, and it's animated, too.  To your left is the House of Haggis Scottish restaurant, and the Heartbreak Hotel, complete with The King and his hound dog, is on the right.

Very nice, I know that guy in the fore ground, he visits my layout often and I've seen him on many layouts I wonder why on all most ALL the layouts I've seen this guy on, he's always crossing the street...LOL!

Hi Mike, Nittany, and Tom: Thanks for the kind words, I do appreciate it.  Ah, a track plan, eh? I've been trying to draw up a track plan for a couple of months, now. I've tried a couple of free track planning soft ware programs, but I just cannot for the life of me figure out how to make a track diagram with them.  At the rate I was going with them, It will be years before I get anything that looks like a plan. I may end up using good old fashioned graph paper, pen, ruler and compass. Plus, I've been busy weathering locos, and freight cars, adding some foliage here and there, and I still have to finish my mine scene.  And, of course, running trains.  So, that was kind of low on my priority list.  So, when I do finally get one done, I'll post it.  Thanks, again for the kudos!

That's some pretty nice looking modeling (and the sun lit illumination doesn't hurt at all).  Is there enough room for you get further from the real trees in the background? Their size is about the only give away I was seeing in your scene.

Lovin' it!
