I think I speak for all of us when I say that you're off to a great start.  Keep them coming.  Throw some details under the Anticlimbers and give them a little weathering and you'll have some great engines.

Do you have more pictures of you layout?

LilBeckett88, nice to see a work in progress.  I hope it measures up the critics (ahem!), but I would like to see how it goes as you make progress.

What the hell is a damn troll.  You gusy have some sort of forum language?  I am not in the game of making people believe things are greta when they are not so sorry for not playing the "great Picture" comments.  He does post wayy too much and I do not feel sorry for as guy with a $10 camera but obviously owns a computer, interenet service and I am sure much more.  If you want to share photos of yur work well the pictures could at least show whats there rather than a blurry mess.  Also his work is not great.  It isnt.  Yea in back of all of you guys head you agree with me but are scared to say it.  I am not bashing everyones stuff.  Alot of other stuff is great.  Its just that this topic was dominated by this Jeffery guy and it ruined it for me.  Every reply had the same blurry pics in it as quotes so we were seeing the same pictures 4 and 5 times.  Why?  You call me somekind of troll for pointing out the facts? Well thats nice.  This is not public humiliation either.  I do not need to be scorned for my OPINION.  I bet your *** there are others who really do agree with it though.  One guy at least did

Man, for a just-a-come to this Forum, you sure chose the wrong member to snipe at. Just because his pictures do not meet your standards is irrelevent. As has been said earlier, it's Weekend Photo Fun NOT Weekend Photo Contest. Quit trying to hijack WPF and go climb back in your hole and pull the big rock closed behind you. When you have learned to treat the respected members of this Forum with the respect that they have earned AND are due, then you can join in as long as you PLAY NICE.

By the way, a Troll is something NASTY that lives under bridges and rocks and attacks innocent and unsuspecting passers-by. Something like you did to our friend Jeff and WPF.  Thumbs Down [tdn]  Thumbs Down [tdn]  If you wish to continue with these type of tirades, I suggest that you start shaving the other end of your anatomy and walk backwards while standing on your hands and join in some other Forum. If they will put up with you.

No Dude, that's cool.  I just didn't understand.

I totally know what you mean about not having your fleet up to DCC standards.  I have about 40+ engines and I think I have only 3 that are DCC worthy.  I can't even run them until I get a system to program them.  You are closer than me.

I have a honest question: Does NS run some of their trains with a single engine?  I ask because I have never been where the NS runs and it seems like I have seen a bunch of you NS modelers do that.  Please clue me in.

Good modeling choice, Terry. That's a unique stretch of railroad through there. I ws rafting down the New River so that's how I happened to end up at the Banker's Club. Any place that has trains at the front door is a good place to me. Smile [:)]

The issue,  He keeps posting and posting and posting.  Some of you who feel so sorry for poor little jefferey why dont you all chip in $10 or so and buy him a new digital camera?  C'mon do it for him.  Stop blowing smoke up his butt by saying his pictures are great and he needs to post more garbage post.  He obsessively posts too much is the big issue.  Thats why he has 5000+ and I only have 8.  I am not pointing out I am better than him but his forum habit is annoying.  You dont need to reply to every post and you certainly do not need to reply to every other reply on Weekend Photo fun.  If there are 10 replies from different people well Jeff replies 10 times plus with quotes of his photos so we see it over and over and over,.  How many times can you reply to a photo sharing topic?  You post ALL your photos at once then reply two or three times.  Not rules but common sense.

"NOOOO  I love your pictures keep positing them'

"WPF wpuld not be the same without you post em"

"Your photos are great Jeff"

"Your work is really great"

Now you know damn well they are all lies except the WPF will not be the same.  It will then be less pages and more different pictures

You AREN'T going to change our thoughts on Jeffrey's talent. We all think it's good. I would love to see pictures of your plywood central. Who cares about his camera, not everyone can afford top of the line gear. BTW- put the pictures in photoshop, clear them up, then admire them there. I think your just jealous.

Yes it's one and the same

I also sent a night at the Bankers Club after having the best steak in my life in the

bank lobby dining room i went up to my room and opened the window stuck my head out

and got a big whiff of diesel fumes form a passing coal drag for dessert

That made up my mind to model the area

Good job everyone!

I personally love to see Jeff's pictures of his layout. I like to see all of his different motive power and that old rusted 0-6-0.

Some comments on the Hyacinth macaw as my avatar, alas, it is not mine. It's the cougar mountain zoo's Hyacinth. I have a cockatiel.
