well ive been reading on this forum for a while so i'll introduce myself

Im Dominic from Western Australia, perth to be exact,

Im in the middle of the first half of my layout (2, 4x8 put together) which one half is based in san fransisco area and the other half a lumber mill in oregon, i find australian trains very boring as its all flat a straight. though i do work on the weekends at the rail museum 20mins from home

My locomotive roster includes

3: Athearn SD40T-2, 2 in SP colours and 1 in DRGW

1: Dash 9 in SP colours

2: S2's in sp tiger stripe

1: Sw1500 sp coulours

1: F59PHI in Amtrak west

1: GS4  4-8-4  Daylight

1: Dash 8 in UP colours

1: U28 UP

2: GP38-2 UP

1: GP7 UP

and finally on the way in the mail is a PA1-PB set in UP

Welcome to the forum. hope you enjoy it. LOL, that's a ton of locos. There is no such thing as too many locos. I have:

1) Bachmann F7

1) Atlas GP9

1) Atlas GP30

My layout is a 4x8 wich depicts my fictional rr, the Southeastern Continental Rwy., a class 1, in modern times. i have yet too get pictures of my progress (there's a ton). iplan to have them tonight.

'ello Gents,

I'm trying to convince me parents to drive me out to a nearby shortline(hour away) so I may be able to get the bell from the ALCo they're scrapping(if either is still there). They've already turned a caboose into Kindling, with a Flanger, Burro Crane, and side dump next in line, and the ALCo going last.

Welcome Animal. I love the SP. Something about the tunnel motors and SD45s. I would like to get a couple, but I need to finish my roster of SD45s, F45 and FP45 units. Big Smile [:D]

Yes, I also need that new Blueline Cab Forward...

Did GG say something about limiting your locomotives on NTRES?

Nah, that's what I thought. :)

So, what do you model? Big Steam Locos & Co.??? Nah... I'm kidding.

Lol, freelanced west of denver, with UP, D&RGW, and SP (That's the main freelance-if Southern Pacific were to connect to denver) So I can have my favorite locos.

:)

Oh and welcome to Animal! I like your roster, lots of Espee!

LOL yeah you can tell im a SP nut, only problem is not many companies release their locomotives in speed lettering which is a real bummer, and maxi well cars are hard to come by as well

LOL...

As an end of the year "present" 5,6,7, grade get to go to the local theme park, Busch Gardens-- in place of a school day.

Last year, smoke from fires across the nation poured into the city; we couldn't see the rest of Tampa from the top of the rollercoaster.

We knew we might get a call to return to the bus, but our chaperone didn't get the call or something, sooooooo...

While the rest of the grade was sitting on a non-airconditioned bus for two hours, we were riding rides.

Unfortunately, those barbarians called when I was eating lunch!!! Can you believe that?!   I missed most of my lunch!!!

Needless to say everyone was incredibly *** off at us!

My 2 cents [2c]

Woohoo, 36 days until school is out for me...

I'm working on this annoying turnout on my layout, NOTHING runs through it, I swear it's defective... I have to go to my dad's house next tuesday and bring home some more 22" radius so I can swap it out and just not have it for awhile, make my life and trains easier.

Well, last I was in, I think I was whining about wanting my big boy. Oh yes, it's here.

Well, that's it for now.

5 weeks here, and the PACT (standardized state tests) starts next week. Ya'll might have heard that SC has way hard tests. I just ordered an undecorated Atlas GP30 w/ nose headlight from model train stuff .com.

No problem Geared Steam!

I wasn't really offended by that post, as it wasn't saying ALL teens are like that, on the contrary, I think it's just the opposite. Most teens aren't like that.

Oh, and posting the link to NTRES would sort of be a no-no with the Kalmbach rules, Bergie sent me an email after he deleted the link in my signiture to it. You may want to take out the link. Just my My 2 cents [2c]
