Dude, I just browsed your site, and man.  You've got your **** together dude!  Haha.  how old are you?  I'm 22 now...  so I guess I can't be a 'teen' modeler, but I'm definitely in your generation sooo yeah.

Just curious:  Am I the only one here in this generation who handlays their track?

Sawyer,

Why are you a Packers fan?

Just wondering, because I am from Wisconsin and personally do not like them. Big Smile [:D]

Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants for me.

Well, I've got a photobucket albulm for my layout pics, and I'll let them talk, cause I don't wanna type it out.

railroadnut675 nice start. Like NeO6874 said, http://www.photobucket.com is a great site that I use all the time.

Packers #1, I know that forum is there. But some of the guys thought it's be nice if we started somthing here.

I use both Photobucket (mainly personal stuff/vacations) and Railimages (MRR stuff) for photos.  If you click the link in my sig, you can see some of the pics that I've taken of myrailroad stuff (both fair quality and poor quality).

Here are the links:

Photobucket http://www.photobucket.com

railimages http://www.trainboard.com/railimages

Both are free, but if push comes to shove, I believe that you can purchase more space from photobucket if you need to (usually, the purchased album also comes with larger file size permissions and other things).

WAS UP, gents? I'm Sawyer, and I model my freelanced RR, the Southeastern Contnental Rwy. (SEC). Also, go Packers and Mets. Yeah, forgot to mention I'm 13.

BTW, if you guys are interested, there is a forum devoted to teens (Bergie, don't delete the link, please):

Sure, I'll chime in

My name is Francis and I have a 4x10 board that comes up a few times a year. I have some cool photos for you.

The one thing better than surf and turf!

I built this with my dad.

that is half the town right there.

There is the other half.

Built this one with my dad

And the CSX engine (It says spirit of Tampa on it)

And here is the result of hard work and my grandfather's help:

Click to enlarge and feel free to critique.

P.S. How do I get an absolutely free website to post photos and videos like these?

I'm planning to model a mostly-fictional branch of the Wisconsin & Southern in the present day.

Nice to (sort of) meet the rest of you!

Welcome. You don't have to leave when you turn 20, you can stay here as long as you wish. I know how you feel. The new room I want to move into is still full of junk. I've been waiting a while for it to get cleaned out too.

Welcome Packer and Ozark.

Packer, I haven't busted my budget, and I hope I don't, but I've gotten close.

Ozark, that's a nice size layout. Can't wait to see pictures.

I'll bite.

I'm 17 and, you can call me Ozark (I'm not big on letting my name float around the internet.)

I have a 11'x9' layout that goes around the walls of my room. In fact, it takes up most of my room! the time frame is 1976-1980ish. I model the Ozark Belt Railroad, a fictional, 261 mile shortline running through Missouri and Arkansas. I'll post photos later.

Well, one my first night of the local MR club, me and another person messed up. We were to busy talking we weren't watching our trains. Needless to say our trains hit head-on.

My train: 2 BN GP9s (P2K), around 20 covered hoppers

Other train: ATSF F7 ABBA set (athearn, all but one powered, one's a dummy with sound) pulling around 30 reefers.

Luckily nothing broke, as the trains coupled, and I was going really slow, he was going moderately fast.

I'm going agian once class lets out.

I haven't boughen anything yet, since I had to et car parts, and my father forgot his deal. (I'd pay him back for it in the summer when I get more hours at work) So I burned around 400 on parts. (bumper, headlights, marker lights, K-member, and control arms). Unfortuanelt I'm wathcing two BN GP20s and a GP35, but I won't be able to buy anything for a while. (including some frames I'm wanting to use for a later project)

Vincent

Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....

2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.

Wow, what a wreck. One of my friends told me he smashed into a coal train with his ATSF C40-8W. But there's more, because it was on a double track some of the coal cars derailed a manifest going to oppsite direction. I think, lol.

How did you manage to get that locomootive in the water with out dammageing it?

Alright here's my diorama. I'm working on the roads right now. It's now time to Build the grade crossing. Then I'll finish up the roads.

Picture Time- Here are my advances int he past few months...

(ya gotta have some fun atleast once in awhile)

Oops

Amazing Crash on Club Modular- My friend was running the pig train, and we noticed he lost his caboose over on the other end. So we try to push through the crowd to get to the caboose, and find the trailers, and cars, strewn about a module, witht he last car before the caboose (lumbr car) thrownh off as well. So we take a few seconds to stare in amaZement, until my RDC barrels into a trailer lieing perpendicular to oncoming traffic on the inner track. RDC flies into trailer, and flips onto its side, trailer wasn't moved much. It was pretty amusing. Then we brought int he ATSF big hook!

Alrighty, my last post was back in November. Back then I was just getting the 2 more WC SD45s. I also see that my diorama was finsihed.

To Update my self with the thread. Right now I have 3 WC SD45s, an ATSF SD45, a WC GP40, a WC SD35, and a WC SD40.

I have started a new diorama of a junction.

I have a new Camera. A 7.1 MP Kodak.

I will post some pictures later. I want to get this thread started back up.

You like pictures of blue foam, random junk, some buildings, tracks, and maybe some trains?

I have a couple videos in my Youtube page of my layout. Search Hyce777 and it should take you there.

Oh and, just BTW for those that don't know, there is a forum for teen railfans... NTRES. At this time I don't have a link, I'll get it in a bit later.

Ditto. But I post alot of pictures and such to keep the thread fresh. No one seems to reply to this thread that much any more. I would like to see some of SD60M's pictures, and other people pictures of there layouts. It gets kind of old seeing my pictures all the time.
