I can think of a couple, some that I have heard, some been used, but they are still pretty bad...

  • No airport hassles...
  • At your service
  • Old reliable
  • Serving throughout ________
  • Shortest line to _________
  • Fastest line to __________
  • We have the connections
  • The __________ Gateway
  • Count on WIN
  • To and from the copper state
  • Conections to the Cheeseheads???
  • Route of Cheese???
  • The expressway to Milwaukee?
  • Reliability to the City

OK, I'm out of ideas. Sorry, I needed to throw in some jokes.

Thanks, I really think this railroad could of been a VERY plausable Railroad. At the time, 1993-1995 ALL the track was in place. Now most of the track is now gone, or with other short lines operating over it. But piecing together the old MILW and CNW tracks make for a nice road. Also, if any one wonders, I did not make up any lines now. I got more info in the GB area and revised the track through there, and now there is no fake lines. During 1993-1995 all the track was in place that the WIN now operates over.

If ANYONE can come up with a better slogan. I would appricate it, the one now is pretty Cheesy.

You've spent a great deal of time and effort on this! Great job.

But if you needed me to critisize, I would say that the slogan for the railroad is maybe a bit strange, because you would hope that the railroad gives service to their customers, or they wouldn't exist. I'm sorry it came out like that, I don't want to start a flame war, or worse, get blinded by COLOR!

It just reminds me of the restaurant that just opened by my house. It's called "Good Luck BBQ." I mean, what the hell are they trying to say??? Good luck! Our meat might be contaminated with salmonella!

Well, if it does, then my Freelanced RR would be more real life, but then the EJE will be gone, another short line gobbeled up by the CN.

What I have here is a Brand Spanking new WIN system map.

(1995) WIN got a new locomotive, and Ex CR, Nee SCL SD45-2. This is to replace a 4212 which got wrecked last week. Sad [:(]

(2008) I'll make this really simple as it's hard to understand with all the suburbs in Chicago. CN has a crossing with the EJE. If they buy out the EJE, Schiller Park will be surplus. Schiller Park is south of the CN EJE crossing. CN would take the EJE though Chicago instead of the old WC route. Well the CN south of Schiller Park crosses the CP at Franklin Park. So if the WIN gets Schiller Park, they can run Trackage rights over the CP from Cut Off Tower in Milwaukee, to Franklin Park in Chicago, then run north on there own tracks to Schiller Park. North of Schiller Park is Leithton, this would be where the CN now crosses the EJE, and if every thing works out, this would be one of the interchange points WIN would have with the CN.

LOL, good point. I still have a long ways.

I just hope my external hard drive doesn't go corrupt in the future...if I keep getting a new one every five years I'll be good. But if I keep taking 5000 pictures a year...that's 25000 pictures every 5 years, and over 10 years thats....holy hot dogs batman! 250000 pictures!

"Now this son is what I chased around when I was your age."

"Wow dad, that's really old!"

By the time I have kids the SD40-2s will be close to 50 years old!

Like i said before...I am 16, and Model the Pennsylvania RR in the 1940-1950's.  I have a layout but it is too small to run some of my equipment.  So i go to my club with 30 scale miles of track...which takes 20 minutes to get around.  It has a heilix also and a Huge yard..and it is 2 levels, on dcc, so i can run my sound Loco.

I have no N Scale equipment, plus I have a pretty sizable (12' by 22') HO layout that I would not like to find out how hard it is to tear down...the benchwork could survive a nuclear explosion... All 2" by 4"s, screwed together with two screws at each joint, and the sections all bolted together with 1/2" bolts... Not to mention the fact that the layout's over halfway finished...Whistling [:-^]

I was at a hobby shop (Tucker's Hobbies in Warren, MA; best hobby shop I've ever been to) a few days ago; and I looked at the N Scale stuff. It looks pretty good (and fun to build a layout with; my area would look huge in N...) but it's a wee bit small for me... Great if you want more in less space though!Smile [:)]
