Hey guys, I caught something so rare it's almost similar to bigfoot.

I also picked up one of Kato's New BN SD40-2's and will get the other after I get my check. it's gonna be good to have a 3 unit all EMD BN SD consist, I think I may have just bolstered my roster for when I switch to the BN.

Well, erm

I guess I haven't singed on the last two days? One day up and OUT  early, and this AM an early visitor..the train nut friend came by for some time before going to surgery, so PRAYERS ARE needed there.

RAY- I lit an extra candle for your sister.

Jeffrey- you mood swings sound like my MANIC ANGRY OUTBURSTS...no one wants to be near me then..MOH has to put up with it though. Maybe you have some manic in you?

ULRICH- good luck on two fronts..the family and the campaign! I am sure your mother has filled your brother's head all kinds of bad things about you! let it roll off you now. Focus on the campaign..you almost can't afford to lose as then that will put you out of another job! GOOD LUCK!

i did a LOT of running around yesterday and today to the dentist for a impression for my new bottom partial.

Well off to the mailbox then to put away the new quilt rack that FINALLY CAME..that was the package I was so steamed about!

Ray - We extend our very best wishes to your sister and our hopes for a complete cure and recovery. They do such remarkable things in medicine these days compared to years ago, so there is reason to stay positive.

It's been a miserable day for me. Went to town this morning to pay bills, buy gas and buy groceries. Had a hard time getting the van started twice. Seems like it just floods out and the starter is too slow. First time I got it to start. Second time I had to get it jumped. Fired up the first try when the cables were connected. Went back home and got my fathers Marquis for the grocery shopping. He could drive the Pontiac G6 (what I call the roller skate) to work today. So went and got the groceries, came home and put the stuff away. Then I took the Marquis back and picked up my van. Now I'd been feeling bad since I got up this morning and it wasn't improving any as the day went on. I went down a little while ago to feed my fathers dogs and I was dragging pretty bad by then. Got them fed (several hours early but I really didn't think I'd be able to later). By now I was almost at the end of my rope. Legs shaky, energy about zero, vertigo running rampant. I had to do something or I never leaving that house on my own. Only one thing could help and it was a dicey gamble. If I was wrong my problems would be over. I ate the one thing that's at the extreme top of my taboo list. A banana! I was down for a little while with cramps but they passed. I was feeling a little better but not by much. At least some of my strength was returning and I could get back home. Now I'm going to get something else to eat. That banana will be ripping me up later if I don't add something to it. Afterward I'm going to do whatever it takes to hold my bed down.

Evenin' folks!

Been a busy day around here (what else is new) and I figured I should take a time out for some supper. Chloe I'll have the BBQ chicken dinner with potato salad and some fresh grilled asparagus please.  Oh and a tall glass of lemonade to go along with it.

Paul, Galaxy, and Tom (and maybe some others I missed) thanks for your thoughts and prayers for my sister.  This is her second bout with cancer as she lost a *** (you know one of those terms we can't say here.  A part of the female anatomy that they usually have two of...Whistling) to cancer many years ago.

Currently 91°F here in the Finger Lakes, so I have been w@rking outside for a few minutes and then finding my way back into some air conditioning for a few minutes.  Got half the lawn mowed so far (will finish this evening), drove over to the plant place outside of town and bought some peppers, Broccoli, and Cauliflower for the fist raised bed garden.  Went grocery shopping and was hoping to get an extra 20¢ off my next tank of gas and found I didn't buy exactly the right product for the extra discount.  Walked by the manager on the way out and asked him why I didn't get it.  He checked out the produces I bought and the Store Brand Tall Kitchen Bags I bought needed to be the smaller packages...  He went and got me the right ones and then the service counter both gave me the 20¢ discount and a $2 refund for the difference in the cost of the different bags....  Of course I went and left my store card with the clerk.  didn't realize it until I got home.  I recharged the PiPs battery and went back downtown on a different errand, then stopped over to the store and picked up my shoppers card on my way to the lumber yard to buy 3 more 2 x 6 x 8' to start the next raised bed garden.  managed to get them inside the PiP with no problem much to the suprprize of the clerk at the Lumber yard.  he noticed my bumper decal and asked what an ALCO was...  I had fun explaining it to him! Big Smile

Still have a lot to get done today, so I will catch up with you all later.
