Speaking of the Batmobile...
I had the pleasure of meeting George Barris last year at a car show I attended. As you might know Mr. Barris was the creator of the Batmobile, the Monkee Mobile, the Munster Mobile and Grandpa Munster's Dragula, all of which were there on display. I knew Mr. Barris be attending so I took a couple of "Junkman" movie posters for him to sign. Mr. Barris was featured in this movie. Junkman was the last movie written, directed and produced by H.B. Halicki before his untimely accidental death. Halicki is better known for making the original "Gone in 60 Seconds".
Anyhoo, George was somewhat shocked and pleased to see that 24 year old poster, an item he said he didn't have. So I gave him the other one...after that I had no trouble getting him to come over to our car and sign the dashboard.

Evening all,
Nice quiet day. Worked on the 644 brown hoist crane, all cleaned up and waiting on parts from Port Lines. I saw some pictures and between the pictures and the instructions I understand the rigging. From what I see from the picks of other 644 and 944 on the bay, most brown hoist cranes have the rigging messed up.
Once when I was in Baton Rouge, I had crawdad pie, that was intresting, it didn't replace peach pie as my favorite.
Chief. the spots being removed, from fishing too much without a hat? I've got a few spots that the docs watching too. Had we known when we were younger and go figure, kids going to tanning booths, oh well, can't tell them anything at times.
Have a good night

There is a four foot spur behind the bar that runs in front of the Pass Through kitchen window. That track will accomodate large scale gondolas (cashews, etc.) and a custom flat car. The flat car has drink holders mounted to it. The siding by the control panel is 6 foot long perpendicular to the control panel near the window. This accomodates an extended storage area supporting those extra long runs.

Obviously I was very wrong about Don. He's thought out everything perfectly! Goes to show ya that preplanning makes every hour running trains a Happy Hour. WTG Don!

I think the secret to saving money is to only use 027 track with 27" curves. That restriction will pretty much eliminate anything over $500, practically saving you thousands!
I guess you could always buy a Chesy & Ohio 2-6-6-6 and park it permenantly on a siding, but what fun would that be.

If you use it to balast your track you are going to have problems because the bentonite will suck up the water/glue and you won't get good adheasion. You may also end up with clumping, which wouldn't look very good either. Also, if you have cats... well let's just say you may end up with logs where you don't really want them!Brent

Bruce, The elevated portion is also out of wood. 15" wide 3/4 ply. There WILL be a sound issue to contend with, probably see about dampening with some carpet padding I have, or corkbead. That paragraph was a cheap attempt of humor on my part.
