Chuck - Did you ever make your easter trip to Cleveland?

Did you all catch the pic of Chief in the Sunday Photo Fun?

We have been spending way to much time out of town again and with work, not much time for trains that way. But we have visited all the hobby shops in the Grand Rapids area.

Good to see you posting on the Coffee Pot , Tom.

No, we never made the Easter trip. Decided to just have it here. Maybe, we will make it up there in June or July.

Mornin' boys.  Sunny & beauuuuuu -T - ful in the Mid-Atlantic today!  Really loved the "lineup" photo from YORK.  Thanks MARTY!  Laz, at least you have good looking bunny ears.  Mine look like HORNS Evil [}:)].  We left that space between the group and ROY, so that jaabat can superimpose someone's picture amongst us...

88 - I haven't spoke to Tom about YOUR engines.  If he has them still (probably), he will want to know how soon you'll want to get them.  Probably best you went the moderate route your first show.  We'll get your bench work up and running before October, so you will get a better idea of the real estate you have to work with.

Hope everyone has a safe trip home.

Now wait a minute!!!!!!!!  You left out the only good Yankee in the picture.  I see John F in there.  As for the REB, he is the only decent looking one in there [except for John].  [see, John is my favorite Yankee because he likes GRITS].  BTW: did not see a NO GRITS sign this year.  Must be because you all had a great meal of them in Harrisburg. Big Smile [:D]

Went to early Church and Sunday School.  Our Pastor did a great job on the VA Tech thing.  God did not allow that to happen.  God wants us to be happy, well and protected.  The devil ans sin did that.  God will comfort and help those hurt by that.

Good evening all,

It has been a beautiful two days in SE Indiana with temps in the high 70s.  The granddaughter and her mom were down yesteday and the son-in-law from Virginia was here this morning.  I washed the van and the cruiser yesterday.  Lucas and I mowed the yard yesterday and I edged the sidewalks.  We took it kind of easy today, but I did clean the gutters.  "Desperate Housewives" is on tonight.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Evening all

Glad you managed to stay out of trouble in York.  The diecast figures you got look neat Laz.  How tall are they?  You can always use more people on the layout.

Beautiful day here sunny and warm.  Had to go to urgent care sinus infection or strep throat, Dr unsure but prescribed antibiotoics.  Bleh, first time on medicine in a couple of years.  Oh well that is a blessing.

Put up some pictures of the weiner car on the layout.  Not exactly "period" but I'm not particullar.

Going to do some studying now, take care and God bless

Evening everyone. Looks like y'all had fun at York. Glad we didn't have to get a bail collection going on the Pot. Also looks like the guys from CTT are not stuff shirts and will even allow their photo to be taken with a bunch of .....Yanks.

Had a good day, got up early to take care of some chores and get ready for early church. Like the Chief's our pastor did a great job with the VT issue. Makes one aware to have your house in order, you never know when.

Had to go in for a little bit this afternoon. Had a referral, but fortunately, we can wait and do it as a second case tomorrow. I am TiRED! After a good night sleep, will be able to give better care.

Time for bed, gotta get the kids to sleep and me too as 4am comes early.

God Bless,
Dennis

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] Zeke,

Doug, (San Diego) should be along soon, glad to have another left coaster on the pot.

Still in York, havn't been able to post because of having blisters on my fingers from carrying all the bags.  Spent 1/2 day trying to figure out how to package for return trip, so far wrapping everything up in clothes and shipping empty boxes.

Will check out the Penn RR Museum tomorrow, then back home.

Sure appreciate the "TRUCE" during my visit here, 81 degrees today, better than home.

Would list all the new acquisitions but would take to long, may have to rent out the train room I have to pay for it all.  Going to have to get a layout built pretty soon.

Made it back from York OK, but came down with a terrible cold while there on Saturday. Since no one was home - I went straight to the local clinic and saw a doc. Got anibiotics and cough syrup (hack, hack, hack....). Hope none of the gang from York catches it from me.

Great meeting we had. We have grown from 4 to 10 in a year (plus Neil B and Kent J of CTT - thanks for joining us guys!). Not too bad. Maybe next year we will have to use the York Grandstands? Hope to make it back next Oct. Thumbs Up [tup]

Made a push into my O pre-war this trip and succeeded based on looking at my wallet. Shock [:O]

I have meetings all week from 8-6, so I may not be able to post much.

Have a great week all.

Regards, Roy

It was a Yankee attack.  They will try and sneak something on you.  Best fill up with GRITS and SWEET ICE TEA.  That wards off any Yankee spell.

Got email from my buddy in SC - his wife had a piece of colon excised last Monday, home now and doing fine.  Told him my sister and her family are moving to Charlotte NC and he said that's like a 67 mile belt and need to be more specific!  Wow - big city!  My buddy Dave has the same truck I've got, a Colorado, and needed to pick up a bunch of bricks.  Yesterday, we got figuring and actually cracked the manual - turns out the max load including passengers is like 1200 pounds - which means that 2 weeks ago I exceeded that by about 800 pounds three times in one day!  Luckily, low gear worked and the suspension seems fine, so I guess there is some wiggle room there.  I'll be more careful in the future.  Also, yesterday was April Showers for the girlscouts, so my whole family was out picking up toiletries in a local subdivision.  Today, I spent the day rerunning some romex in the basement - I had to rethink where some wires go when I went to connect to the fixtures - doubled the number of wires going through one small run - starting to look like something only MartyE could figure out! Shock [:O]  All the wire is in place, just need to make connections and then get powered up.  I was disappointed that I didn't get to turn the lights on today, but things a getting there.  I'll have my basement layout one of these days!  Meanwhile, I've got my Copper Range Mining operation and old 50's lumber concern working the living room.  My daughter wants to get a real early start on the Halloween layout this year, so we can put up all the Dept 56 buiildings and stuff.  Sounds great to me, except then I'll have to take my current stuff out....

Chuck, glad to hear you are doing so well!  Laz - VERY cool engine!  Chief, great pic of the grandson!

Do you have to be a TCA member to go to York?  My wife was asking me what it was and sounding like she would be alright if I went sometime in the future....

RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

Good Morning from Blueberryhill....

It is a sunny 50 degrees. Going up to 76 today, with a chance of afternoon thundershowers.

Today is a usual start of the week. Have a few things to do around the house. Maybe, later I will spend some time in the train room. I would like to work on the layout and run trains. It's been a few days, since I have.

Looks like everyone had a good time at York. Lots of nice pictures.

Dining Car is here and ready for breakfast. Later.

Y'all have a great Monday.

Good morning from a warm and blustery Chicago where I have enjoyed catching up on a few day's posts. Great photo of the guys at York. Laz, what a beautiful, beautiful engine! After church, I spent yesterday going around to different stores with the middle boy looking at acoustic guitars. I have to figure out some chores I won't be getting to as a chance for him to earn money for one. Our pastor using the VT tragedy to review what 'love your enemies' really means. Our anniversary was yesterday too: 18 years. The bride wasn't feeling well so it was low-key. I spent a lot of time at the park with our youngest.

Tonight I want to try figuring out if I have space enough for the Korber trolley barn and extension and a Lionel transfer table (and extension). I think it's bigger than I can fit.
