One word.....20
Yes, 2 looks good. And 5 is trying BUT 20 is my choice.

Ah, a man after my own heart. Can't have the 2 or 5 winning anything though, and for that matter same for the 12, 24, or 48.
Morning all,
Colin, prayers for your gandparents, how are they doing?
Reggie, prays of thanks, good job! Are you driving for a carrier?
Spent all day yesterday in class, got take home finals. I'd rather have an in class test than take home exam. Grading scale much tougher. The classes this period have been fantastic, hate to see them end in one respect, but in another,
Spent some time taking pictures with different background lighting and posted them in photo fun. I still have lots to learn!
Cool and nice out. Wish I was not at work!

How about working up some prayers, guys - sounds like some grim choices to be made!

Mornin' all...
Fife, I figured you would offer, problem is I just put it on layaway so I wouldn't be tempted to set up a layout again, plus all those huge boxes don't have a home right now. I'll be picking them up either just before or just after the move. Also put one of those nice firehouses on layaway too! Anyhoo... had our first showing today! One more this afternoon... Hope the house gets sold quick! No deliveries from CTT yesterday either... wonder if some Sutherner intercepted my shipment! Gotta run... I'll check back in later and post some pics!36 and still KICKIN'!Brent

Way to go Tony!!! Takes the lead and puts a lap on Kyle!
Go Smoke!!!!
Just lost my whole post, going to take some pics for SFP.
Later,
Afternoon,
I think my eyes are going, or maybe the 24 year old TV needs replacing. This is the one in my train/computer room. I can't read the car numbers on the band that scrolls across the top of the screen. Can just make out names. BTW Tony just fell into 17th place.
Take care,

Very nice!! Love the Home Depot rolling stock, great stuff.
Good afternoon everyone.
It has been a good day so far. Went to early church today and we had some folks visit from Ohio and another family from Arizona. They saw the movie and wanted to come for a service. I think they were heading to the warm temps in Florida and stopped on the way. The Ohio folks actually seemed...can I say it...Normal . Then we went to Sunday dinner and came home. Wife took daughter to mall and my son and I went to the train room and worked on the layout.
Did have one problem with wiring, for some reason, I could not get solder to stick to tab under piece of Fastrack. This is the first time I have had this problem, all the other track took solder very easily, this piece, no go. Tried different tin mixes, etc, nothing worked. Finally, I just crimped a connector on the wire and just mounted it in place.
Anyway, I hope to catch up with y'all later. Have to get ready for evening church. Hope you have a wonderful week.

This is the other car on e-bay I didn't bid on, but now I kind of wish I did !! They were custom painted for some HD opening, somewhere !!
Dennis : did you try scraping or scrathing that up before soldering ? That sometimes is what they need.
Off to Houston. Hope all are having a great day. Thoughts and prayers for those in need. Sitting in the CLT airport waiting for my connection. Didn't see Chief here I guess Boise has to deal with him.
Take care!

So many roads, so little time.
We had the Granddaughters today and I had a chance to surprise them with the Lionel balloon ride I installed this past week. It was a big hit, even Grandma enjoyed it without the usual question of how much? I had to keep it running the whole time they were out in the train room. They got an even bigger kick when they crawled under the layout to see how it worked and found the building that housed the motor assembly.
I continue with redoing engines for the client. Current project are a pair of FT A units he wants painted and decaled as E units (to each his own) and the front coupler removed and a cover door assembly made as he's found in a photo.
After seeing some of my redo's the boss is considering having me redecale a scale Virgian berk. for some other RR that a customer might be more interested in since he's had it for a while.
Good morning from Rogers Corners. ........ Why is it so dark out this morning? Well, anyway, St. Patricks Day was a great success, but for some reason I do not remember much except the singing in the hallway.... or was that the basement?
I have considerable amount that I need to get done today so I better get going.

John, thanks for the tip. I did scrape and even took the wire brush on the Dremel tool and no luck. I have been using a 150/250W gun. I wonder if I have used too much heat? Perhaps getting the connection too hot and then not being able to keep the wire and connection approximated long enough for the cool down. I will have to see. I have a regular low watt iron that may work better, just takes awhile to work.

Lisa and guys in NC - I'll tell you what, the whole time my sister and her family have lived in Naperville we never visited once. If they actually move to NC, I'll make a point of it - I've got friends in SC who love it, and I hope I've got friends in NC, Ohizo, and other places too!
Hey, where is John Baker? Checking out more pubs for us? Also, haven't heard from Thor, Stubbs, Spankybird (his computer is still out?), Nick..? You guys okay?
Felt a little under the weather most of the day, then went out with friends for their dad's birthday, just turned 65. My wife will turn 45 in a few days - she aleady picked out a bunch of sCRAPbooking stuff for herself, but I'm working up a party and cake.
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

Chief & Marty - Are these similiar to the "big seats" that you guys fly? All you got to do is make sure you book on an Airbus 380. (Aircraft is 8 stories tall, has two decks, and accomodates 800 passengers)

Morning to all from a cool Gettysburg where it is currently 18 degrees. Not much happened here over the weekend. Getting ready for a recruiting trip. Got to see my nephew on Saturday, hadn't seen him in a few weeks, my how he has grown. Took the dog to stay at my folks for the week. She'll come home more spoiled than she already is. We head out to WV for recruiting at Fairmont State and WVU on Tuesday. Recruit Wednesday and Thursday. Come home Friday. It is a pretty nice break from the normal routine, plus we get to visit with our son for a little. The Mrs. likes to hang out and shop near the hotel. Went to church yesterday, then took the Mrs. out for lunch, came home to watch the NASCAR race and then thing I know the 48 is running past the 20 to take the checkered flag. If those other boys don't watch out, Jimmie may just repeat....
Well, lots to do, so I better get moving.
