Happy Birthday RT and Buckeye!  We had a dusting of snow with nothing sticking to the ground but they still closed schools.  Huh?

Afternoon folks!

Happy Feb! Been under it the last few days. Improving incrementally each day but it is a very slow slog!

The '84 El Cam reproduction dashboard assembly showed up  - was originally scheduled for Nov of last year - then jumped out to August of this year. It looks great and as advertised, molded like the original. Been studying YT videos and the manuals on dash removal/replacement.

Regards, Roy

Buckeye Riveter
.I believe it is a step in the right direction for MTH O gauge. Time will tell.

Yes, I'd hope someone's in the wings to pick up the O gauge line.  The question is, who?  Kind of scratching my head over that one.

The S gauge people will probably be happy about Scaletrains picking up the MTH S line.  The HO?  I don't look in on the "Model Railroader" Forum all that often but from what I've seen the HO crowd wasn't too crazy about MTH's HO products, Scaletrains might do some improvements.

This poor girl has been around for about two weeks. I doubt she can survive the winter missing her ankle and hoof. Best I can guess is she got into a trap or something, Sad.

Yeah, could have been a lot worse here.  Cleaned the cars off and shoveled the driveway yesterday since if the stuff froze overnight it would have been a nightmare dealing with it this morning.  Driveway's clear, cars are clean, main roads are good, I've already been for a hairscut and back. Time for some "Cinnamon Toast Crunch" and some coffee!

Good morning, from a cold North Bluff.

Yep Flintlock not near as bad as Doug got only about 65 miles or so north of us. Sounds like he got more than twice as much as we did.

Looks like the real cold stuff will be end of this week and next. So what we have will be around for some.

Pension payday so off for supplies.

Happy birthday RT! Cake

Aloha and Happy Monday - cold and sunny. Got a couple more inches overnight which is annoying to me as I tried to keep everything clear. Why doesn't the weather gods cooperate with my need to make everything neat and tidy during daylight ;)  We probably got about a foot of snow since Saturday night. Looks like my relatives in Conn. and NY will get their snow from Spanky's maps.

Happy birthday to RT!  My condlences to you, Spanky.  That's a nice engine, Fife. Thanks for the reference to YouTube for the America's Cup.

Mornin' boys. We got about 8" of snohizo along the Patterson Creek cut-off, with a few more inches on the way, perhaps. Got most of it cleared by dinner, which was a nice relaxed affair. Ms Kelly made spaghetti, as we looked out at the white laced trees, listening to some Johnny Mathis. Wonderful wonderful.

It looks like the first "domino" to fall in the MTH transition, is their HO and S gauge lines being acquired by Scaletrains.com.

Good evening all,

Thanks, Kevin, for starting the February thread.  Watched the end of the Daytona 24.  Five cars on the lead lap at the end.  Who would've thunk it?  Snowy, rainy day here with not much going on.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Thought I would start Feb,2021,

Glad all of the weather is moving to the east, Joe,, you want some,,,take all you want. Laugh

Wife and I did about 1/2 hour ride all over the woods and the lane with the Gator and the snow is deep and fun to try to get around. Almost got stuck twice but the Gator 590i pulled out in 4x4 lock. We love winter and the things it can bring, at times. Other times,, not so much, but today was fun.

Fire is cooking and all is good on The North Bluff,,, Wink
