See it is working again. Out the door to the farms. Paint deer stand and steps to camo them. Deer probably don't care.
Have a good one.

Evening folks!
Yesterday was the normal very warm in the mid 90's. Had a great day as 4 of us 'boys' went to the State Fair while the ladies attended the brunch/bridal shower for our daughter. Had a get time consuming corn dogs, brews, and other fair food! Wandered around while catching up and looking at typ fair displays, new cars at the car show, and some nice live music at several stages.
Mike C - prayers for the ms
Looks like it it time for a new 'pot' tonight!

Good evening all,
Been an interesting 2 days since I did not post yesterday. Wife called me as I was on the way home saying she had been to eye doctor. He thought she might have had a detached retina. Turns out it was not but there was some diabetic bleeding which the specialist did the first step of treating today. Quite a scary situation but it looks like it will be successfully resolved. Weather will get warmer this weekend. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,

Took the road runner to the final 2019 cruise night at Robbinsville with Jenni and her Charger, I received a Sponsor's award. $25 Rock Auot card and a folding chair, I was surprised - - I usually get nice compliments and not much more.
Weather is cooler but the Sun is warm and I enjoy that.
Italian-American faire this weekend, Jenni has passes and will be taking pictures for the event. Tomorrow it's Bobby Rydell and Fireworks!! Should be very cool.
Will start the videos and working on the layout soon, weather is better and the atiic is cooler.
OK back at it, will check in soon....

Hot and dry. Watering Wifey's gardens. Good thing. No hurricanes.
Early train to Charlotte held in Durham. Man on the tracks hit and killed. Loading folks on buses. Why? Move the body and send it on. I am guessing suicide by train. I'm sure NS had sent freights through earlier. Train will sit for hours.
Later.
Long day today dealing with ATT installer and their phone support for a conversion of wife's 2 business lines from regular telephone lines to VoIP. Thats 6-7 hrs I will never get back...and their new equip does not support 3 lines (2 bus plus 1 residential), yet their old gear supported up to 6...right....so now the house residential line is not connected to anything. So a residential installer comes out tomorrow to resolve. We may end up with two fiber lines into the house for 3 phones...progress!...and more fun than washing socks or a cat!
Kev - I have never done that...ever...really...no, really...
KRM Morning, Another senior moment this morning, I got up and as I always do and turned on the coffee maker because Sandra gets it ready every night. I head to the bathroom to do some inventory control and when I am done and come out to get a cup of coffee I find out there was no coffee pot in the coffee maker,,,,,,WHAT A MESS!!!

Mighty "spindly" legs.
Buckeye Riveter It was an exciting day yesterday!!! The new and expanded BO&W Railroad layout started construction. The BO&W being a rather cheap organization saved much of the benchwork from the previous layout including the L-Girders. The support frames were also saved. Clamping commenced This segment of the layout will be 26' feet long. The room is painted B&O grey and LED Can lights are above. I have already made one change and replaced this support with a 2x4 frame. This frame is now being used at the end instead of the middle. RT... Good job and a nice collection. Everyone take care of themselves.

Good evening from clear 67°F Southern Ohio,
Good day at work. We’re starting a new project and we are working the bugs out of the operating procedures. I’m fortunate I have a very good crew.
I got the brakes and bearings off one side of the Ranger. I just broke a caliper guide pin bolt. Not too bad, only $6 for a replacement bolt and guide pin. The wheel bearing are soaking in solvent and the hub spindle looks good. Maybe start reassembly Friday.
Kev - good idea on the float
Roy - yea, the 12 in reality is usually 13 hours, and I get tired. To add insult to it because I’m supervision, it is all at straight time.
RT - Looking really nice
Good night and may God bless you and your families

Hey,
I dug the hole to find the septic lid yesterday,,,They charge a min of $150 if they do it,,,WOW just put my ashes in that hole and call me gone,,,WTH??? 36" across and 16" deep. I thought I was going to drop dead right there. Today they pumped the septic out. $300.00+but never been done since I had it installed 13 years ago so it was interesting to see how full it is. I ordered a tank riser so I will never have to dig that motherfu%#@&* out again! Good to go till 2030 now.
So that is off the "before winter" bucket list.
WOW RT nice job on the shelves! I would hate to have to clean all of those.
Thanks for all the well wishes for wifey! Will see what they come up with next week.
Good weather. Quiet at the office. Got some quick turn around on a project. Wife's sister is still here. I hope everyone has a good day.
Still very warm, 95.
Planning a trip to the State Fair this Sunday while the ladies attend their bridal shower. Temps will drop to a balmy 92 for Sun!

Roy - If I had the skill set needed to finish 1309, it would be on the rails this weekend...
Afternoon all
Just a quick fly thru as no plans for today.
Thanks for all the comments guys. Quiet day at work. Weather is wonderful. I hope everyone has a good day.
Evening All,Just kickin back letting my face heal. I did some really dumb stuff scheduling Dr appts to close together. (Fri., eye injection which was cancelled , Mon., eye lid surgery, Tue, dentist appt.). The eyelid was much more stressful than anticipated, only had a local, and eye clamps on both eyes. That was painful!! But, at least its OVER!RT, Is there more than one Lowes in your area? You might end having a shelving availability issue the way your going. It is looking good.SJ, Hope the trip to Dr went well.Doug, Sure hope the Drs have good news for you!!! You deserve it!Buckeye, Did you incorporate a Lake on your layout? Maybe in the shape of a fish?Take care all !!
Don
Hello there,
Extra long night at the drags Saturday. A huge turnout had the track scrambling. They have trouble with the usual turnout. Long story short about half of the classes weren't finished when racing ended at midnight due to a strictly enforced noise ordnance.
Grandson was one of two remaining with one loss each in one class, three with one loss in the other. We did gain a bit of speed due to the gearing change but not as much as I'd hoped. He did clinch 1st for the season in both classes. Son went out early.
Sunday the alarm went off a little more than 3 hours after we got to bed. Followed by Mass breakfast, Wallyworld, lunch and Mom visit. The plan was an afternoon nap but that never happened.
Watched the littlest grandaughters till a bit after 7, in bed shortly after 8.
Sunday was also my turn to deposit collection so that was 1st thing Monday.
Spent the rest of the day on house stuff and being tired.
This morning an appointment and shopping for grandson a birthday present. He turns 14 today. Making me feel old.
This afternoon spent on yard work while Mrs chauffeured her broken leg sister to appointments and shopping.
Bed is calling
Prayers for those in need.
Prayers for Sandra.
Hot and dry. Getting ready to go east tomorrow AM.
Good afternoon from beautiful sunny 72°F Southern Ohio,
Over the past weekend I was checking out the front end and brakes on the Red Ranger and the pads are thin and a little wobble so I put it in the garage and pulled the wheels last night to replace the brakes and bearings. With the 12 hour work days it does not leave much time but I figure a little each night and maybe by the weekend be done or close to finishing up so I can finish the power washing of the house in prep for staining. I figure October will be occupied with the staining of the house and garages.
When I came outside this morning the sky was beautiful! The stars were really bright. I guess there is a blessing at leaving the house at 5:15 am.
Kev - Keeping Sandra in my prayers
Don - Fantastic news about your eyes!
Mike - I would think the band kids and directors would fall under the same criteria for heat stress protocols as any sports team. To have kids pass out is unacceptable. You are getting into heat stroke.
Fife - Sounds like you are a part of a very good team
Lunch break over. May God bless you and your families
Jim
