Hello there, hope all had a good Easter. Grandson got a 23 lb turkey yesterday
Littlest granddaughter kept losing her bunny ears so she handed them to me. They made it hard to take pictures so I put them on
Son has to work today so the clan gathered at a local eatery for dinner last evening. Grandkids got their baskets afterwards.
Today Mrs I went to 7AM Mass, had dinner with Mom then home for a nap.<br><br>Best move on<br><br>Prayers for those in need <br>
Good evening all,
Nice weather. Nice visit with family. Happy Easter! I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana

I don't have the receipt and the sign is buried in the basement. The guy was at a booth at York.

Buckeye, what Hall??? From the picture I'm guessing Red. Thesign behind you I think is a dealer from Red Lion Pa.
Morning folks!
Cloudy and very windy. High 70's today.
Good family gathering after church yesterday. Pulled pork sliders, brauts, and hot dogs for the kids. Pool and hot tub were utilized to start the season. Egg hunt and killer croquet. Good time had by all!
Banks - thats a big bird!
My post disappeared. My fault I think. So just a good morning and we are expecting 70 degrees today.

A belated Happy Easter, my friends...ICS 300 is done....expect my certificate in a week or 2. Got done, ran to Trains and Things for my house. It's on the layout, need to wire it up. Awesome accessory. Already parked a '70 road runner next to it. Fife - As soon as it is wired up, I'll be putting the flamingos up....Got home in time to pick up the Princess from her last day at the Princeton location and then changed and ran over to church, to enjoy, as Father Pat said "The MOTHER of all Masses" 2 hours, 15 minutes.Stopped by the Tavern to have a little dinner and an Angry Orchard with my Princess and the BF, my sister and the BIL. Weather was breezy at 10 PM and cool. Dropped the kids off at the house at 11, got some sleep and was up at 0730 for cooking detail. Ham, Turkey and all that. Everything was done by 1 and we sat down, over ate, had numerous desserts and finally was back at my house by 6. The Princess was anxious about the new location so we helped her clean house until Game of Thrones, and FINALLY hit the pillow at 11.Up at 545 this AM to get the Princess to Philadelphia by 8, was there at 0750. Made it to my job by 0815. It's been an adventurous day already. Softball after I pick up the Princess tonight, then I'll deliver her home after.Up to my eyeballs in scans right now, I do have Wednesday off for doctor appointments and such, it is a much needed day off.I was supposed to help escort FF/SSgt. Slutman today, but the Princess needed the ride and that was more important. The escort back will be Saturday and I can make that.Back later!

Good Afternoon from beautiful 71°F Southern Ohio,
Happy Easter! We’ll be in the Easter Season for the next seven weeks until Pentecost. Super busy but great fantastic, moving, services beginning with Holy Thursday, Good Friday, the Vigil Mass and Easter Sunday. Last night I was beat. Now back to work. I did get to work on the layout some over the weekend. I received the 755 Talking Station off Ebay. It works great and is on the layout. I went ahead and wired up the 789 Baggage Smasher and cut the filler piece for the control panel top where I’, using the 220090 transformer instead of the 30B.
Fife - Easter Season color is WHITE.
Rich - Congrats on the ICS, great achievement. I use to teach some of the Emergency Management courses at work.
Banks - That is a great Tom; what about a 7” beard?
Mike C - our Vigil was 2 ½ hours; 19 Baptisms and 24 Confirmations, and was GREAT!
May God bless you and your families
Jim

It was the Orange Hall towards the front. I believe he lived near York.
Jim, ours just had 13 altogether. As big as our parish is, you would think there would be more. We did almost total immersion for baptism. That was a switch. Very quiet day at work. Ordered tickets for Indy GP. Got some financial stuff done. Picked up sticks outside and got wife to take a walk outside as well. Beautiful weather for once. I hope everyone has a good day.
Hello there,
thanks Buckeye, Red Lion is near York
The Turkey grandson got had an 11 inch beard and 1 3/4 inch spurs.
Contractor is done. Gutters installed tomorrow. Then back to the bathroom with farming and yardwork thrown in.
Went to grandson's 1st teener leaque game this evening. He played a couple of innings and made a good play in left field, struck out swinging in one at bat.
Best try to sleep.
Prayers for those in need
Mornin' boys. Everythings a-bloomin' along the Patterson Creek cut-off. Began the family room "re-mod" yesterday, repairing the water-damaged dry-wall from a couple months ago. Youngest princess's bf is helping me, as he works for his Pap in the summer time doing home improvement. Two hefty bags of mess.
Buckeye - I need one of those signs.
anjdevil - That was an impressive procession.
BTW, the trial of the city lad who ran over the BCoPD officer is finally beginning.
Cloudiness continues. It has been primarily gray skies here since Thanksgiving. Rain tomorrow. Temps continue normal, below normal. Pollen ++++
Anj - nice accomplishment - ICS! Keep going!
I have lots of home projects on hold due to it being so damp, rain pending, here this spring.
Quick Fly-By.....
Jim Phish - ICS can be confusing but I had great "team mates", which included a career fire captain, an EMS crew chief (she was young but took copious notes) and a young firefighter from out in the rural area....we killed our scenarios, was told we were very professional. We had 10 baptisms/confirmations/1st communion..yup 2 hours 15 minutes, or there abouts
Fife - I saw most of it. A friend of mine from CT road his motorcycle to DE from CT and back. Wish I could have done it. As an aside, he was on the same house as a fellow firefighter and was in the same fire academy class. They'll be by again on Saturday, if time and weather allow, I may join them for the trip south.....
Ran upstairs and ran trains for 5 minutes then went home.
Tonight, after 3 weeks of those "something every night" schedule I have....nothing and that's exactly what I plan to do......
Busy day, good day at work. Mowed yard tonight. I hope everyone has a good day.
Hi gang, I'm still fighting the pnueumonia. Chronic cough is the worst part. I went all day without coughing and it started up tonight. Doctor does not want to give me any more antibiotics. I guess they are not working on the type I have. Went to dermatologist today and after that to hospital for a blood test for my primary doctor. Salvaged the Easter Lily I left at the cemetery before they throw them out tomorrow. it is still blooming so I brought it home for a little TLC. Praying for a better day tomorrow.

Morning all. Just a quick fly by.
Ray, get well. Sunny CA should not cause that.
Been super busy. Lots to do today. Sun came to and working in my outside chores with Town stuff. Got in house at 8:30 lst night.
Later.
V8, I am 82 now so I have to be extra careful with it. I have read that even some things you eat causes you to cough when you have COPD, let alone pneumonia. I had some pre breaded fish sticks last night and that set me off. Maybe fried foods are a problem. Starting today with caution.
DougM, WOW I feel so bad for that little boy from your hometown. Andrew “AJ” Freund, I knew it would be bad from the first report I heard and when I saw that house. What is wrong with PEOPLE??????
Seven loads of gravel, droped, spred, and rolled so far, 105 ton, 8 loads to go! Tired.
Prayers for those in need and a call out for help for SP man!
Chief - what did you find that #39 labeled nail in? Marked nails like this were used in the old logging operations to sort out who's logs were whose after floating them down the river to the saw mill. In this application, they were usually found in the end grain. Yours being driven cross grain on what looks like a squared piece of lumber suggests that it might be an identfifcation tag for whoever made the piece.
Spent most of last week in Houston for the FIRST Robotics Championship event. There were 407 teams attending. The teams were divided up into 6 divisions of about 65 teams each. The winners of these divisions went into a round robbin playoff to determine the two teams to play for the championship. All of the matches were played with two alliances of three teams playing against each other.
We were ranked #10 in our division, which had 67 teams. We ended up being the captain of the #8 seeded alliance. We had to play the #1 seeded alliance in the quarterfinals. The #1 alliance was captained by a multiple time world championship team and also included the #2 ranked team in our division. We did not move on to the semi-finals. The #1 seeded alliance that took us out ended up going all the way to the championship match, where they lost. Considering that there were a little over 6,700 active teams in 2019, our performance for the season was great.
On the train front, I put an order in for one of the NYC J3 Hudsons in the build to order part of the catalog. Projected delivery is September - We'll see.... I was dissapointed to find out that the Spy vs Spy operating box car was canceled by Lionel. I ordered a Budwiser Clydsdale reefer, which got delevered. Looks pretty good.
The ballast is glued down on the museum layout and we are starting to place buildings, plant grass and bushes, etc., etc.
We are setting up for a train day at the museum this Saturday.
All for now.
One of the strangest days of my life. Truly a "Circle of Life" day. Found out a friend of ours passed away the same day a coworker safely delivered her baby girl. Not too sure what to make of all of this. Weather rainy. Work busy. I hope everyone has a good day.
Evening all!
Long day fighting with an ATT contractor and the city over why the city allowed ATT to place a new fiber in front of everyone's house when the previous 2 ATT fibers plus the Spectrum cable plus the old wireline telco plus the old decommissioned analog TV cable are all buried in the alley. A major function of the ally is to have all this infrastructure BEHIND the houses and not on the street. City is meeting with ATT tomorrow based on my complaint. Also trying to mobilize the neighborhood using Nextdoor.com to complain to the city to push the new fiber into the alley where it belongs.
Ray - be careful! Prayers for a fast recovery!
