Good evening all,

Happy anniversary, Roy!  Congratulations!  Quiet day at work.  Warm outside.  Been checking out the World Cup TV schedule.  Telemundo is broadcasting most of the games.  May have to take some "sick" days, cough, cough.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Happy anniversary Roy!!!!!   DrinksDrinksYes

Sandra and I will also be on # 32 this year + 4 years of getting there!

Your right about the racoons. The next battle will be tonight if I can get the darn cat in the house? I have a new trap plan after talking to my neighbor about how to check it to make sure it trips.

Afternoon all!

94 right now, hoomidity is around 50%. Better than 80%! Humidity is hard to contain!

Kev - racoons are out of control, few predators with demise of wolves, and they can thrive in urban areas. I can't shoot anything but have no issue when someone else does. Racoons are filthy animals and carry/transmit distemper. They nest in their own excrement. In many places it is illegal to trap and release them elsewhere. One is required to dispatch one if caught. Had to get one (huge) removed from our boathouse attic. Pest control guy told us if he catches it, he has to kill it. It was a huge stinking mess in the attic to clean up.

Celebrating our 32nd anniv tonight! Movie and dinner.

Afternoon all. Just got done installing a new stove. The old one the door fell apart in my hands the other night. Didn't feel like trying to figure it out as they had these spacers that only could of been installed at the factory.

Took Donna for a trip to Greenwood, S.C. ( about 50 miles from here) we went to there goodwill and it was a big one. She walked the whole thingusing a walker. :) she probably could of with the cane but it's safer with the walker at this point.

Not much else going on here today. Already hot and muggy. So will see what I do for the rest of the day.

A nice day here.  Cool

We set the live trap last night with a tuna fish can with peanut butter in it. This morning I went out there and the can was out of the trap and cleaned out. The trap door was still up??   Bang Head  Looked at the feeder pole and I know for sure the thing is greasy today.   Whistling

Kev, maybe you should look at it this way.  Racoons are nasty.  if they were hungry enough, and you were laying helpless in the yard some night, they would kill you.  And eat the soft parts.

but i would not shoot him.  Maybe put electric fence wire high up on the pole.  Haha.  I want to see the video of that.

At war with myself,

You know I hate to kill something that is just doing what it knows to do. But this guy (the racoon)  was out of control. Maybe I need to get the wife to back off on the food they can get and maybe they will not come around and I won't have to kill them??? I can't win. It would be like shoot the cat for having a humming bird lunch,,, I would not do it.  Some people have no issue with killing. I do.  I can think of some people in today's world who need it more than the wildlife. Whistling  end of rant,  SoapBox

Evening all!

Very warm, 95, and humid+

Got the Tahoe back. Now have to procure 2 replacement tires. Spare not good enough to put it on the ground, so the one 75% good tire will become the spare and the 2 new ones will go on the front. Just bought 2 new tires in Feb, so they will all basically match since I put few miles on since Feb.

Banks - prayers for your daughter Angel

Good morning,

Banks, prayers for your daughter. Advancements have come a long way with that cancer lets hope for the best!

Well the bird feed eater and baby bird eater is now bird food for the Turkey Vultures. Seems fitting. That racoon was in the trap before 11:30 last night. Three lead pills for breakfast and it was over. It was a big one.

Got to take the Colorado in this morning for it's first check-up and oil change. It will be a year old on the 4th of next month and is at 5,450 miles.

Think I will re-set the trap tonight and see if it has relatives.

D-day today, lets not forget those who dide on the beaches 74 years ago. Angel
