Thanks for telling me. Sorry to hear about his passing.
RT, I may be mistaken, but I believe that BTTS was developed as result of the Chief and Roy, I designed/created the icon. Chuck was a Charter member of OTTS which was a child of Chuck and Buckeye, et al. Then there was/is the Tardis group.
Don
Thanks Don I was thinking something was wrong there.

Kevin, You know usually once is enough for most people, but you must make sure your point is driven in.
Da Chief also made me a BTTS but Photobucket messed mine up and it never was put back on.

RT,
I don't understand your post, I was NOT trying to be offensive, I appoligize if I offended you.
Don I corrected my post , it wasn't you.
Good evening all,
An interesting day. Did the 13.1 in 3:28:17 for a 3.77 MPH average. Best speed in a long time and it was all walking. Unfortunately came home and made a rare offering to the porcelain goddess. Can not figure that one out. Ran into one of "my" soccer kids and he told me something that made me realize they do understand why I support them so much. The comment is too convoluted to explain here ( or anywhere for that matter ), and spoken in any other circumstances would be terribly misunderstood. Been watching some of the Oscars. I am glad some of the movies I watched are winning some awards. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,

Monday morning music rehearsal for Wednesday's show at the Parkside Pub and Grill. My set will include "Alone Again (Naturally)" by Gilbert O'Sullivan (1972), "Bus Stop" by the Hollies (1966), "Come and Go Blues" Allman Brothers (1973), "Michelle" by the Beatles (1965), "We're All Alone" by Boz Scaggs (1976), and "ARainy Night in Georgia" the Brook Benton version (1970). Going to be a great evening with my band buddies.
Mornin' boys. Sunny & 26 out there. Pretty chilly in here....
It was great seeing Brent and the family on Saturday. The kids are growing up so fast, and the Q looked great.
for those whom need them.
Chilly start. Warming now. Not much on agenda.
Old School, great on the music.
Dennis, we shoot yotes. Bad creatures. Will kill your dogs and cats.
Fifey, keeps that train running.
Prayers for Donna.
Later.

Just checkin in.
We have bright sun going to 37. Frozen snow slush is gone till next time. Nothing exciting in my toy train world. Rob I'm gonna have to run that VL engine when it arrives.
Mornin'! Had a winter storm this past weekend, power was out from Friday night until yesterday morning! Still no WiFi at home, but still plenty of trains running at home, and good book and magazine reading!
Spent most of Saturday getting my late father's HO brass collection ready for auction, which will leave some loose brass here and there (and the few I'm keeping), as well as the O, S and Standard Gauge stuff!
Look out Doug! Looks like your going to get hit with the snow.
Windy and cold with lots of gloom over the next ten days if they are right?

Breaking News:
In a landmark court decision handed down today, Cheverie Mountain Corportation has been granted exclusive rights to rolling stock reporting mark CMCX and CMC Railroad Incorporated maintains their exclusive rights to both CMC and CMCR.
Consequently, new custom reporting marks are being dry transferred onto Cheverie Mountain's ore car roster. Their red lion rampart logo remains unaffected. Unique road numbers will be added when they become available.
Howdy All !
Been awhile, it's been a rough two or three weeks. Manage to put on a little weight but them turn around and give it up plus a couple of more. Kinda like 5 steps forward and 6 steps backward. Some time today they are going to do a remote test of the ICD, next Monday is CT day so they can determine chemo success with the tumors.
Later all !

Hey, Happy Monday!
Got the Sundance head gasket done, did the Friday Night Thrash, just like I used to do when I drag raced, honestly, I wasn't ready to do it Friday, but, the BIL was, and away we went. At 0200, the job was done and all 98 horses showed up. Runs great, will check the gas milage on it later and glad it is done.
Got the oil changed Saturday and got a bit of a 'tude from the Midas desk jockey, $20 oil change, which was fine, since I JUST had it changed 3 weeks agao (Had water in the oil from the head gasket), later told me I needed a tune up and it ran like crap....which is hilarious cuz last MONDAY I replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Moron.....
Brent, that area is absolutly spectacular in the summer, and I've threatened Fife I'd show up in either the convert or the bike.....and I will make good on that this year. It's on the list.
Kev - prayers for your family
SPRay - prayers for your family as well as you.
Doug Notta - Prayer for you as well
Those in need.....
Well, another day, another Nor'easter....due Wednesday. More fun.
Back to work.....
I am the monster in your head...And I thought you'd learn by now, It seems you haven't yet.I am the venom in your skin --- Breaking Benjamin
DougDG, Thinking of you.
Was thinking about our other friend from the forum here that was in a band and from Canada.
RIP Blown out Cylinder.
The weather guys were way off today. We are getting heavy sleet right now. The wind is nuts. Glad I can just stay in. I am getting sick of winter.
I feel for the guys on the east coast. Those high tides were crazy.
Baked potatos and fish tonight.
Best move on.
Evening gang,
A beaut of a day. Sun came out and high 60's. Windy. Front and now temps dropping. 40 tonight, more 60's for the week. Sunny.
Scratch - nice "Strat" - I have a '65 Gibson SG Special, white. Also a Ventura 12 string and a "something or other" 6 string acoustics. My fingers on my left hand no longer function well enough to play anymore. Donated my Fender and Kustom amps to the SMU music school some years back.
Anj - ahh the Monday weekend news wrapup!
Dougnotta - prayers and glad you are hanging in there!
Regards, Roy

ok - duck and cover!
Russia has a whole new set of nukes...
Forget them. Putin's just playing cold war games. Remember SDI? We, the USA in general not me personally, were very successful with that semi ficticious program back in the 80's. There was however the Kosberg RD-0410 nuclear/LH2 engine program of the 1960's but it took 20+ years to produce a working prototype. However A working model is a far cry from an operational mass produced piece of ordnance.
Trains, trains, wonderful trains. The more you get, the more you toot!

I wasn't but I see the comment went over your head
Made it thru the day. Got caught up on work. Had a nice walk although weather was cold. Dishwasher is fixed. Got MR and Trains today. Watched Izombie tonight. Not the best episode ever, but still better than most shows. I hope everyone has a good day.
Tuesday, and that means seniors discount (30%) at two community recycling stores! This is the day I buy RC toys to take apart for motors, gears, circuit boards, small screws and other model-potential components. Have a great day everyone!
Morning. Cloudy, windy and chilly. Rain later.
Meetings today and tonight.
KEV, did I miss an old forum member passing?????
Chief nothing new there, BOC/ Blown Out Cylinder/ Barry died awhile back now. He just came to mind when I was reading about OldSchoolScratch’s post about the gig he will be playing at the Parkside because BOC was also in a band and from Canada. Nothing more than that unless RT trolls around to try making something more out of it.
The storm is still over us and moving to the east. So far for us it has been nothing but a salt srorm thanks to the road guys looking for some OT. I am wondering how Doug M held up.
Hi All!
Just a quick pass through on my lunch break. Seeing a few flurries......
Kev/RT - Am I missing something here?
DJ/Old School - Nice Strat/Twin!! I've always been a Fender boy, except with a bass. I have a Jazz Bass (Geddy Lee Signature). Sold my Precision, but might look to get one again in the future. I didn't want to hijack your RC post, so I'll continue the Petawawa talk here. When I would go and visit my sister and brother-in-law, I'd always spend time at the CP mainline to grab some pictures. It was great with all of the level crossings, so you would hear the horns and have time to get to the tracks. My favorite spot was down at the river beside the bridge.
Roy - Your SG isn't too shabby either!
Becky - Ahh. Yes "Star Wars". Is this go 'round going to be "Putin Strikes Back?"
Have a good one.
Rob
Rob: our bass player back in the 70s used a Precision. A few years ago I was doing gigs with a bass player and long time friend who had a custom Carvin and a fretless, but I can't remember the make of the latter. There were certain songs he used the fretless and he could work it real good.
not worth the comment, sorry removing what I was saying
