Good evening all,

Dennis, the Honda train is a unit train of auto carrier cars that hauls Civics away from the Greensburg plant.  There are usually two runs a day.  One brings in empties and the other takes the loaded cars out.   Usually a minimum of 50 cars and at least 2 or 3 engines pulling.   Did very little today.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Good evening all, went to doctor on Thursday.  He started me on diueretics for my swollen feet.  All my test were good on heart, kidneys, BP, oxygen level etc.  Problem caused by reaction to medicine.  I started my first water pill today.  Not much reaction but it's only the first day.  I thought I would be going to the bathroom a lot more but he is starting with a weak dose.  Best wishes to chief.  More later.

Roy, it is always worth it. Laugh Just kind of stinky.  Ick! I know why you should be young to have kids.   Wink

So today Jordan said he wanted to go back and see the trains like the last time he was here. So I decided we would not and go to back to where we did but go to Mendota IL. to see the Mikado they have on display in the center of town. Well we got there and it is the start of Corn Fest so the place was ready to carny out.(thank GOD nothing was open yet)   So we checked out the steam engine and then a very long BNSF coal train came through on the main line right next to where we were. Don't get better than that, Jordan LOVED it.

Enjoy your night.

The a/c repair folks showed up 3 hours early and the a/c is fixed! Ahhhhhhhhh!

Kev - I remember those days all too well - but not fondly - I have done the same thing as you did in several situations with a couple of exceptions where the briefs went into the waste can! Prayers for the newborn Angel

Brent - cool!

Fife, anj, Brent - What's an 0545??????????

Good morning,
Thanks SJ both seem to be doing well and if mom is okay they will come home this afternoon.
Got to love this stuff.
Last night I picked up Jordan and took him and Lexi to the park while Sandra and Katie were in with Ariel and the new kid. As soon as we get there he said I got to poop, so off to the park restroom (you know how nice those are in public parks) and the little kid drops off a load like a horse. I ask are you done and he said yes. So clean him up and he runs back to the swing set then over to the playground stuff and then tells me I pooped my pants,,, back to the restroom and the kid let out a load like pumpkin pie all over himself. Bang Head  what a mess. Ick! So I used his underwear as the towel and washed his backside and leg up all the while he is crying Crying about it and his sister is trying not to puke.  Salvaged his shorts and washed up his underwear in the sink, hung them in the back of the truck and called his mother and said we were ready to GO!  Tongue Tied
So he spent the night here and so far so good today. Yes

Guys I think they shortened those warranties so they can sell the extended ones better.  Angry

Got to run!

Morninng all. Day two of bringing down the two sycamore trees. They didn't get here until almost 11 yesterday so didn't get a full day here. then the rain came in about 3 or so so they got the one down but that was it. There working on tree 2 right now. There isn't a lot of room between my place and nieghbors about 50' and the trees are actually closer to her place. so far I've only seen one small branch land in her yard.

Haven't chimed in for awhile. However I do read the pot everyday. Kev I hope mom and the new baby are doing better. Our first born was a 7 month, 5 lb 4 ounce baby. It was kinda weird feeding something that weighed less than the blanket. he did fine though. Anyway congrats to all.

Rich, I hope you wrong.  Sad

I see MOPAR shortend thers in 2017 as well.

"guess they are all junk"

"We back every Dodge Brand vehicle with the 5-Year/60,000-Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty*. It covers the cost of all parts and labor needed to repair a covered powertrain component. Coverage also includes towing to the nearest Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep® or Ram vehicle dealer, if necessary. The warranty is transferable too, so if you sell your vehicle during the warranty period, the new owner will be covered. For details, see your Dodge dealer"

Hey - at least it isn't FORD! There you don't get to drive what you purchase as they spend all their time at the mechanic! WhistlingLaugh

My 2014 has the 5yr 60,000m warranty, so it has been that way for a while. There is a local dealer that gives you a lifetime warranty on the drivetrain (engine, tranny, and dif) not the axles or tires though.

You can always text me and if I don't respond it means I am Zzz. I think the kids and I were awake at that time because Christina gets up when TheQ rises and keeps that schedule even when TheQ is not here... she just replaces TheQ with Daddy... Sigh

Hello there,

TGIF!!!!!

Off to have the dominatrix stretch my shoulder. I'm pretty sure she gauges how much to pull by how much I grimace.

Mom is still mom. This week wasn't good.

Gotta get moving. More later.

Prayers for those in need

Good evening all,

Did get all 3 vehicles washed today.  Did a little more work on the Encore just to clean up the front end.  Brought the Victory drinks to the junior high kids.  Completely different reaction.  Total enthusiasm.  "You're the guy with the cowbell and the drinks....."   When I told them to be safe, they had lots of questions as well.  It was fun.  Watched the Honda train go thru town as well.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Brent - what's a PSL? Anyway have fun with the kiddos at the game?

Roy - Personal (or Private) Seat License. You have to 'buy' the rights to the seat, then you get to buy the season tickets... but you also have the right to buy the ticket for ANY event (for example Metallica came in May, but TheQ failed to tell me they were coming and that we could get our seats at a discount, even though Metallica is one of my favorite bands and I haven't seen them since 1992 in San Antonio... but I didn't tell her all that... oh wait... yes I did LaughWhistlingSmile, Wink & Grin)...

Kiddos are looking forward to it. We'll see how much they enjoy the mile plus walk to the stadium. Whistling

Kev - continued prayers

Rich - Fife had coffee at the DD just 6 miles from my house... but he didn't call. Whistling

Fife does a pirate raid backwards - from inland to the shore....gotta love that!! Kev - prayers for the little one and the mom!! My biased comment on the warranty....it costs GM too much money to warranty junk.....just saying....lol Half day today for doc appointment, just routine stuff, lotsa aches and pains but who knows. On the bike today, been too long without seat time, thinking of playing hookie and visit some of the 9/11 areas like Schenksville and pass through Fifeland....it will be a game time decision on Thursday as I have to be back on Friday next week Gotta go back to work :(

Dinner tonight with the grand-kids then going to hang out a a local park so Sandra and Katie can go see Ariel and the baby at the hospital.

Late evening or early morning... take your pick

TheQ has been in Boston since yesterday and I've been manning the house. Took TheQ's BMW for service yesterday and picked it up this evening. Tomorrow while TheQ is flying home the kiddos and I will be manning her PSLs at M&T Bank Stadium. Yeah - I have no idea what I was thinking, but the kids are looking forward to it so I guess I'll Daddy-UP and make it happen. I'll be surprised if we make it to the second quarter... according to Christina 'It makes no sense to go to a football game if you aren't staying till the end'... umm Yes I agree, but not when your partners are a 6yo and a 4yo!

75 Heading to 80 going to be a nice one. Like SJ no AC running here. Nice cool nights and not to bad in the day. Strange for August here.

Roy, I remember we were getting ice cream when on the car radio they were talking about the Cuban Missile Crisis. I was 10 years old and threw up my ice ceram in the back seat I was so worried. What a world it was then? Not much better today.

SIL Dan's sister is in the hospital giving birth today. She is early and they are worried about the baby because she has a umbilical cord infection and the baby seems to be only 3 to 5 pounds. Dan said they may have to send the baby to Chicago once he gets here. Tongue Tied Everyone is on edge.

Morning gang!

Partly sunny today! Maybe a tstorm later. Nice but a bit more humid.

Fife - me thinks youz has been away from the "bounding main" a bits too long?

Submm - good luck with the drains!

Kev - it's back to the 80's - here we are again with nuclear weapons pointed at our heads - there was a great bar in Dallas called Ground Zero that was built like a bunker and the entrance had this big missile overhead headed towards the door. The interior was classic '50's nuclear terror movies decor.

Pirate Ahoy maties!  'Tis a sunny beauty of a morn along the Mineral Coast.  Successful plunderin' of the "Free State" yesterday, it was.  Started in the port of Mt Airy, for me first cup of DD in ages.  Local militia came in, and milled around, perhaps checking me out.  Probably cuz I looked like this Pirate at the crack of dawn.  Made it into Baltimore just prior to rush hour, which made me think...perhaps we should't have fought the British so hard...?  Scuttled off with a lovely maid and a young princess, even checked on me fine sailing vessel.  Sacked the Cracker Barrel in Frederick, then plundered garments from Hagerstown, before slipping quietly across the great Potomac to me home port.  A couple of BeerBeerBeer then Zzz.
