Morning. Fair and 50. Cooler today. Really chilly tonight. May have first freeze Sunday morning. Hope to get away to farms to hunt tomorrow afternoon. Hide from phone and Mayor things. Come back Saturday night. Got memorial service for Captain Byers at Veterans' Memorial tomorrow AM.
Fifey, take care. No need to get down and out with back. Not good.
Brent, how are the "weeds" doing?
Have a good one.

Mornin' boys. Sunny & 43 along the Patterson Creek cutoff. Touched something off in my back, so gonna go easy today. FifeMax not understanding, as he still wants his 70-80 frisbee tosses per day...
Looking at wood-slat shelving for new layout. Actually, it was bringing the big tub of post-war trains back from Mom's that might have irritated my back.
Demay - My "platform" is thus; plywood (probably 1/2" thick).
HudsonJohn - Warmest regards on the passing of your mom. I know how devoted a son you have been, and Kelly's and mine thoughts are with you.
Dennis, Ray and Don all sitting around running trains and smoking a joint. CA passed recreational marijuana. Then they have a $2 tax on cigarettes to discourage teens from smoking. Funny.
Good night crew.

Exactly! This place is a refuge from all that and it needs to stay that way.
Trains, trains, wonderful trains. The more you get, the more you toot!
Good evening all,
Short day as I stayed up to watch that which we can't talk about (sorry, Bob, could not resist). Did some clean up work in attic and loaded truck to haul stuff to salvage yard. Built some stuff with American Plastic Bricks. Cooler but sunny today. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Sun and 50s today
Grocery shopping at Aldi's.
With the early darkness my body thinks 10pm is bed time. So by 11:30 and no winner yet I went to bed.

Yeah but you can buy pot now without a med card. We have always as long as I can recall had to have a FOID card here to get ammo.
So much for pollsters.
40 heading to 58 with sun and wind.
Lunch with Raj today and then this afternoon have to fix the recoil rope in the log splitter starter Mark broke yesterday.

Good evening,
A chillier, rainy day today, but still no snow. I think we could see some around Thanksgiving. The election results were not complete when I first awoke, but they were close enough to know the outcome. I am glad there weren't any sore losers. Obviously, living over in Europe I hear/see some different perspectives on the outcome. I need to run the older son to soccoer practice now. I hope you all have a great day.
Mike C. - Same for PA, which hasn't happened since I started voting.
Fife - I'm sure you will come up with something. I'll support you.
I'm still praying for you Doug and Banks.
Good night,
Joe
Morning gang,
Partly cloudy and cooler (60's) today.
Well Fife - first you need a "twit" account......wise man on the bedroom issue...and I like the PW display idea
Prayers for DougsnottaG today.
Continued prayers for Mrs. Banks
Becky (Penny) -
Regards, Roy
Mornin' boys. Sunny & 55 along the Patterson Creek cutoff. More painting today. Youngest princess did cutting and edging for me yesterday, and did a pretty good job of it. Her and Wifey at odds big time over bedroom color (I'm taking the Swiss approach on that one...).
Still churning future layout ideas as I work. I'm leaning towards having both a post-war display, as well as a high-rail pike share the train room.
dougnotta - Best of luck today!
Banks - that's a little bit better news.
In the spirit of the moment, I feel inspired to MAKE the COFFEE POT GREAT AGAIN. Just not sure how to go about it...
Very nice day visiting family. Still up watching returns. Most interesting results. Republicans swept everything in Indiana, which is a surprise as well. I hope everyone has a good day.
Hello there.
,thanks again for the prayers.
They seem to be working. Biopsy results are it is a big long word that I can't remember. It is a type that COULD turn to cancer.
Doc wants to remove it but the b00b needs to heal at least two months 1st. Tomorrow we visit gynecologic oncologist for further review of bad uterine biopsy. Thanks for all your prayers.
On another note daughter told Mrs earlier that 9 year old grandaughter is scared that the wrong person is going to win tonight and screw the world up for her. I'll not say which one but isn't it sad that a 9 year old has to worry about that.
Goin to bed. I'll learn who is pres.elect.in the am.
Prayers for those in need

cnw1995I think stomping around making Godzilla noises is a great activity for today, Penny!
Vhen ze vorld goes krazy, vhy not act ze fool?
Evening all!
Well a big hoopla night ahead. Surprised, NBC already making statements about certain state winners based on exit polls. I thought they had to stop doing that until west coast/Alaska/Hawaii polls closed. The issue being "calling" a winner before western polls close may cause folks to give up and not vote. Just wrong...
A late post for me as today was a busy today. No snow accumulation overnight as I hope but we should see some starting around 1000 tomorrow. I voted via absentee ballot a few weeks ago. I am glad to be six hours ahead of EST so I will not be sucked in by all the reporting. I will know the outcome after I wake up. I hope you all have a great night.
Many Oaks will hold leaves till spring here. But when they do start to fall, at least I know it is almost over and they are falling like mad.
Wife and I cleaned up all of the flower beds the last few days and I put the heated bird bath out yesterday. 30 at night starting Friday so just in time. Only the deck table and three plants that need to come to the basement to overwinter are still outside.
Voted at 9:00, no waiting and the ballot was way easier than the primary ballot. Go figure.
This afternoon Mark is getting the stump grinder and tomorrow I will be having lunch with my friend Raj. He is from India and became a citizen about 15 years ago. The elections always are interesting to talk about with him. He looks at things in a different way than most of us.
John,
Aloha. A grey and cooler Election Day. 5m was probably a tad exaggerated, Roy but it was certainly the largest celebration here ever. I think stomping around making Godzilla noises is a great activity for today, Penny!
Doug Murphy 'We few, we happy few, we band of brothers...' Henry V.
Chief is right I don't like either one but they did win the primaries so this is what we get. Our voting is done, about 200 between 7am and 9am. I saw a lot of coin tossing coming from behind those voting booths..Now i will watch the noon news to see who the media says has won.
Cloudy today with afternoon showers expected. 50ish.
Morning all. Sunny and chilly. Finally got down into the upper 30's. Warming up fast with the sun.
Dennis, going to get worse. Sad day for the US. No real good candidate for President. A crook/liar and a crazy person. Which is best?Hope all have a great day.
The usual checkup at the doctor. Paid some bills. Did 5 miles in 1:15:52. Tried to do more but body and weather conditions said no. Going to see Lucas and younger daughter tomorrow after voting early and often. Indy 11 will play for NASL title Sunday in New York. I hope everyone has a good day.
A nice day with some rain. Low 70's. Mrs and I spent some time on the porch with some nice wine.
Doug M - 5M turnout for the Cubs was quite some celebration!
Prayers for John's family.
A chilly day today and although it was mostly dry there was a bit of rain around lunchtime and it even had some flurries mixed in. We could see some snow early tomorrow morning and then again on Wednesday. I hope so. The wife made some bacon covered chicken for dinner and now I am in between shuffling the older son to soccer practice and the Princess to dance class. Have a great day.
Definitely praying for Hudson John's family. I heard about his mom's passing last night.
Rob - Is sure does.
Morning all. Being lazy this AM. Did watch DVR'd things and got them out of DVR. Cooked breakfast [bologna, egg and cheese sandwich]. Washed my dishes. Getting ready to do Mayor stuff and County Commissioners late this afternoon/evening.
Hope all have a great week.
Chief, sorry to hear of loss in the community. Freedom is definitely not free. Anything I did this weekend is minimal compared to what that young soldier did. I hope everyone has a good day.
All else aside,, For Hudson John on his mom's passing last night.
Have a nice night.
wrmcclellanCowboys
Yeah, but our Brownies have a perfect record!
Morning all!
Partly sunny and 70's.
Cowboys and NASCAR today!
Morning all. Lots of fog in my area. I checked out a near by train show yesterday and picked up some track. They seem to be getting smaller every year. :( Not much else there this year that caught my attention. Frankly, I was more excited watching the A-10s doing their training exercises at the local ANG base on the way home. I finally decided to get a brace for that pesky knee. Hopefully, it will help get that MCL healed a little faster. Still re-watching Band of Brothers as part of my annual tradition leading up to Remembrance/Veterans Day. I actually got Mrs. Mc. interested in watching!! Prayers to all in need.
Chief- Always a tough loss to any community, especially this week.
Joe - Does the same apply to French fries? :)
