Good evening all,

Good day at work.  Good weather for walk.  Good night to mow the yard.  Even managed to do some trim work on yard.   Supposed to rain to beat the band tonight and tomorrow.  Neighbor next door who mows every Thursday (even if it is just air) will be all out of sorts .... heh, heh, heh.   I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

I think you have to be a dummy to test run a dummy unit

Hello all

Shaping up to be a nice warm day in the Ol' Pueblo.

V8 - the camera I had cost me $90 to begin w/, so I figured it wasn't worth sending it in to be fixed.

Well the PW Tiwn Coach motor turned over after we hooked up the electrical system. Going to pick up plugs, cap, rotor, and wires shortly. Maybe we will get this thing to fire off today.

Been lurking here lately.  The tablet I've been using lately does not allow me to post for some reason.

Had a train day at the KATY museum last Saturday.  We were located in the freight building this time.  Was a nice day, so we had the doors open on each side of the room, providing a nice breeze.  One of the trains I put together was a Looney Tunes thems.  Towards the end of the day, it dawned on me that the kids had no idea who Marvin the Martian, Speedy Gonzoles, the Roadrunner and the Coyote are.  They did get a kick out of the missile launching locomotive, though.

Ran my early 50's Hudson for a large part of the day.  Didn't miss a lick all day.  The more I run it, the more I like it.

SP Man - I read somewhere about a guy who had set up a computer to deal with telemarketers.  The computer was programed to converse with the telemarketer and try to keep them on the call as long as possible.  There was a web site, though I don't remember what it was.  Seems you could conference in to the computer and hook the telemarketer up to the computer.

All for now.

Good evening from humid warm Southern Ohio,

You can almost see the grass growing!

I’ve been pretty busy with the training and qualification process with the new job.  It will be 3 to 4 months minimum between the procedures to read, classroom modules, and practical demonstrations.  Good part is I’m getting paid as I get qualified.

Also been working on the utility room remodel.  All that is left is a new suspended ceiling and the new sink/countertop.  Bride is happy with the results.

Don - Great looking ElCamino

Good night and may God bless

Jim

Good evening all,

Good, quiet day at work.  Nice walk in good weather at noon.  Cleared out a lot of old cardboard boxes from the barn loft tonight to either pitch or use to protect kitchen and then pitch.  Rain started up again.  AJ's team basically created a vacuum in practice today at IMS.  The temp driver (Tagliani) was faster than the two regular drivers....hmmm....   I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Hello all

Well the 'new' camera survived it's first Bob test. Left it out in the sun and it was pretty close to 100 today. Work fine after.

Well we started the big 6 in the '53 PW Twin Coach bus today. Ran fairly well and even idled. Need to fix a water leak and then figure out the air system and maybe it will drive over to the new building under it's own power:)

Hope to pic up an interface cable for the 'new' camera tomorrow and I'll post some pics.

Morning from beautiful sunny 60F Southern Ohio

I’m off today as the new job is 4 10 hour days and I’m off Friday - Sunday.  It is great!

Hopefully I’ll get the ceiling replaced in the utility room today.

Kev- Good catch!

Bob-Sounds like the coach project is coming along.  Restoring something as large as the coach must have it’s own challenges.

May God bless

MOrnin' boys.  Damp (still) and 61 in the Mid-Atlantic region.  To the trescadecaphobians --- hang in there, only 15 hours left.  It's been 2 weeks since grandson started after school daycare.  I miss him.

KRM - Nice box o' choos.  Bridge does appear to be Marx.

Kevin from what I can see you do not have a actual set with the 2339 as none of the cars that came with it are in your box. as for set box number it must be a non-catalog set box so there is a chance that you do have a set there beteeen all the items with that. need to find someone with a non-catalog set book

Think you need to resnd the case # as I have not recieved it

Thanks kev, it's no fun when it really is Friday the 13th. Or when RT gives it away.

Nice box of toys but be careful RT will have you buying every day.

Aloha. Sunny and cool but a great day for a long work with the dog. And its rained so much in May (twice as much as usual, my usually-ratty-looking yard has very tall grass. The youngest had his last band concert of the year last night and the middle boy passed his EMT class. So it's been more than a decent week! Ray, that quinoa is the latest health food thing. It's supposed to be very good for you. Glad the bus turned over, Bob. What an adventure with the digital camera. Nice haul, Kev. Heading up north to find a supposedly-wonderful fish boil at a remote restaurant... hope it's worth the drive.

Busy week.  Another one ahead.  Getting a little tired of "Town" coming up with unplanned interruptions in my schedule.

Kev will like this.  Was doing errands in the town near by and stopped at JD dealer.  Looked at a new tractor with front bucket.  Probably get one.  Add the new fast hitch.  Maybe a power takeoff tiller.

Have a great weekend.

Chief, Green is good. what size and model are you looking at?? Always good to have a FEL you can use. Maybe you will want a grapple / thumb to. Now you will need to get on the forums at TBN.  Wink

Good evening all,

Quiet busy day at work.  Nice walk in good weather at noon.  Went to see "Huntsmen: Winter Wars" tonight and came home to watch Grimm.   Finally some good news for the Foyt team as they place one car out of three on the sharp end of the grid with Hawksworth in 4th.   I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,
