Hello there,

TGIF!!!!!!!!!

Hope everybody had a good week.

Tried several times to login via phone. Laptop worked 1st try

Ray........I'll keep praying for you

Was off work today. Slept in some but didn't sleep well. Think I pulled a muscle in my upper right arm tusseling with a 600lb bull we were preparing to make a steer yesterday. After the shot took effect he was like a lamb. Went to services at noon then Stations at 3. Straight from there to fry fish. The bad wing made that fun. Ibuprophen barely took the edge off. Unofficial count was 750 plus. I think thats about what the average shoud be.

Not much on the train front other than looking forward to York.

Son has been stalled on the truck project by helping out at his Mrs' garbage business on his days off. He did do some spring plowing this week.

Sub bob....your projects are interesting. Good luck on the jobfront.

Sir James...........that sucks that Wild Bills is closed. How did they empty it so fast?

Weather has been pleasanthere this week. Temps predicted to be lower but stll nice

Don't know if I'll make it back or not so I'll say HAPPY EASTER now

Prayers for those in need

Cooler today.  Going to do hospital run.  Mrs. Dorothy is in CCU and Wifey's Auntis suddenly there with bad cancer.  Her Aunt has been going once a month for scans to be sure she has "kicked" it.  Now suddenly, all over her body. ?????

Buckeye went hunting.  Found a strange set of tracks.  Followed them into a cave.  He did OK until the train hit him.

Have a good one.

Good afternoon all from Sunny warm (60F) Southern Ohio,

The Triduum Services have been great.  Practicing the Exhaultant for this evening Vigil.  The 3 West side parishes combine into one church for the services Thursday Friday and Saturday.

Also been working on the damaged bumper on the Civic getting it ready for it’s repaint next week.  I found a Bondo product made specifically for bumper repair.  Neat stuff.  Moldable sandable and remains flexible.  Something to store away for a possible train repair.  Also cleaned up the gas grill.  Had to order some replacement parts and do a little rust patching.  We’ll get a few more years out of it.

Ray-I will keep you in my prayers and you are right, taking care of the sick is a corporal work of mercy, perhaps a call to your parish and a eucharistic minister can bring you communion.

Bob-That trolly is really neat!  Post it again this coming Sunday in the SPF

May God bless

Jim

Evenin' PEEPS.  Sunny & 55 here in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Just got back from marina where I slapped some epoxy in a few small spots on the yatchet.  Spent more time chattin' than workin' as a lot of fellow sailors were down there.

Ooops, middle princess just phoned with truck issues...

Just got back from Sao Paulo Brazil yesterday.  Toured three plants that we have in the area and Attended an awards banquet for natural work teams and innovation teams.  We had representatives from teams all over the world.  Gave presentations for the team I am on to the executive management team and board of directors.  The team I am a member of was chosen as the top team in the company for 2015.

I'm officially an old guy now.  Turned 60 a week ago Friday.

My thoughts go out to those who are dealing with health issues and making hard life decisions.

All for now.

Good evening,
Took down the 100' snow fence and almost tipped the tractor over pulling out one of the fence post. A bit too much angle sitting on the side of the berm.

Put some of the free fuel from the transfer tank in the tractor and it runs just fine. So I graded the lane and then took down the fence. It was almost 60 outside and I was sweating out yesterday's beer working out there.
We had stuffed Pork chops tonight, Wife wanted them and picked them up. I had fish thawed out but it will have to wait till Monday.

Daughter called and wants me to deliver the kids elect jeep that did not work when she brought it out here but now after I fixed it and got a new battery for it she wants it there.. Indian giver.........

In case I don't get back tomorrow,,,,have a happy Easter everyone!!!!!!!!!!

Good evening all,

Mowed the new tall grass today.   Went to Easter Vigil services so we could sleep in tomorrow.   Almost 2 hours long.  Will not do that again for awhile.   Did get to watch train go thru Greensburg after church so that was a plus.  Got CTT today.  Good issue.  Worked on taxes again and found a positive shift on our Indiana tax, which is a good thing.   Happy Easter to all.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Happy Easter all,  it is a beautiful day here.  A lady friend of ours from church brought us a delicious home cooked meal for Easter.  It was really needed too.  What a Saint that lady is.  She was the same one that helped me with Helen for two days last week.  Hope the Easter bunny is good to y'all.  Chief send some of that rain over here.  Weather man is guessing we might have a couple of days with showers later next week.

Happy trails,

Ray

Good evening from cloudy and warm (70F) Southern Ohio,

Fantastic services this weekend, and afterward met at my bride's mom's house and had lunch with her family.  The kids and I left and came home and I took a nap.  Did some more sanding on the Civic bumper.  It will be ready to paint soon.

Sister-in-law was asking about a co-worker whose husband died and she wants to sell his Lionel collection.  They are in Cincinnati and I think there is a large Lionel community in Cincy that may be able to help her.  Anybody have a contact I could pass on?

Happy Easter!

May God bless

Hello There,

Hope all had a good Easter.

Ours was great. It was a beautiful day and Son surprised me last evening asking what time is Dinner. The original plan was he and family would not be joining us. He was to have Dinner with in-laws then he had to leave for work by 2. Seems their Easter get together got moved to Sat PM so today our family enjoyed a ham dinner followed by an egg hunt for the kids before he had to leave for work. A great time was had by all.

Mom is doing ok although she was quietly crying in the back seat as we left from placing fresh from the front yard Daffodils on Pap's grave yesterday PM.

My bad wing is greatly improved after some rest and lots of Naproxen. Don't think there is any serious damage. Thanks for your concerns.

Ray.......continued prayers for you and yours

Best get t sleep..........

Prayers for those in need

Hello all

Quiet night on the mountain.

Hope everyone had a good easter.

Resume is now updated and starting the sending out process.

We found out last week the director is no longer the director. One possible outcome of this is positions being eliminated. They have to give us 90 days notice so we should here something by Friday in that regard. Fortunately for me, I was planning on leaving anyway.

Mornin' boys.  Rainy & cool here in the Mid-Atlantic region.  We "hosted" dinner at a local Irish restaurant for our family.  'Twas nice coming home and not having to clean up afterwords.  Wifey said we spend about the same amount cooking the meal...

Grandson duty today.

Aloha. Happy Easter Monday. Today it cannot decide whether to be grey or sunny. I've been entertaining my mother, who's visiting us from Connecticut for the week. I'm so glad I can virtually-clean and fix the yachett with Fife. Bob, that trolley is wonderful! I used to have one like it.

A happy late Easter to all.

We had a quiet day - went to services, had beef roast veggies and potatos for dinner, then hamburgers for dinner.

Lost most of Friday and Saturday to the Game of Thrones season 5 CD set my wife got me for my birthday.

I forgot to mention that the local high school robot team that I have been involved with went to another meet last week.  Did well, too - ranked 11th out of 61 teams after the qualifying matches and ended up in 2nd place in the playoffs.  They also got the Engineering Award that is sponsored by Delphi.

All for now.

Good evening,

Well this will be short. Nice day today, mid 60s with sun. I put out the last of the deer corn today. Tomorrow they will be on their own. Green is coming up all over so they will be fine.

Hope Tyler will be good DJ. I think your right that some of the people he is around need to know the history.

Ran trains with the wife last night and we both had a few Beers

Have a good one.

Aloha. Grandma is on her way back to Connecticut and I spent the day working and cleaning up - along with taking Mr. Torben the Wonder Dog on a long slow walk (to allow him plenty of time to snifff around).  Ran Ivor tonight for a few laps too. Hope you feel better soon, DJ, and the transition smooths out. Happy Anniversary to SJ and his bride!

Good evening all,

Seems like a lost day since nothing was accomplished as far as I can see with my doctor.  They drew blood yesterday from my wife but no news today about future treatment.   Nursing home or home?  I still don't know.  Will call the doctor tomorrow.  As for good news, I made contact with a care giver lady who wants to work for us if we choose homecare.  I'm 99% ready to pull the trigger on that unless the doctor comes up with a better plan. The lady did caregiving for another family I know of and is recommended by them.  Sitting by my  wife's bedside now with some hymns being played softly in the background from a CD given to me by my friend Larry who is the drummer in the band called the Nightblooming Jazzmen.  Good sounds.
