Good evening all,

Construction work is done in back bathroom!!!  Some painting remains, but I do not have to stare at open woodwork anymore.   Work was busy.  Weather is good.  Mowed yard.   Sato starts 16th, but SFHR is gridded 2nd.   Watched "Pirates of the Carribean" tonight with wife.   The first one.   Busy tomorrow.   I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Konbanwa and Ohayo Chuck,

Nothing new here; it's still raining.  I haven't read about any flooding which is amazing because I'm sure we have accumulated quite a few inches.  We had no baseball tournament so we've been relaxing at home.  The wife and I did take care of the grocery shopping but that was the extent of our chores.  It was a good day for stew, so I made a Thai yellow curry beef stew that was delicious.

Laz - Congratulations to your BIL.

It's late morning here.  We took a walk earlier and had a nice breakfast at home.  Wife had a good day yesterday.

Drought continues.  Started heavier watering today but we may get rationed before the summer is over.   Lawn is suffering.

Train meet Sunday at TTOS.  Will go if I can.

Need to do some figuring now for financial planner.  Need to figure what we spend on household expenses including groceries. Hard to figure when some are credit card and some are cash.  Have to wade through a lot of receipts I guess for cash purchases.  Credit card is easy because we have a statement.

#1 son will celebrate his 50th birthday Sunday with us.  It was actually on May 30th but he put off until now because of other needs.

later,

Ray

Izzs home.  Mowed and that was it.  Rested up.  OH, did have to help work on dock as soon as I got there yesterday.

Hot and humid.  Rain the other day is making garden grown.  Grass here now.

Off to family night movie at middle school football field.

Don Baker at work.

Good evening all,

Bad day sports wise.  Grandson's team lost 4-3, and Sato blew an engine 10 laps from the finish, turning a mediocre day into a lousy one.  Now down to 18th in points.  Attended nice birthday party for other 2 grandsons and did some retail therapy.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Konnichiwa and Ohayo Chuck,

I wish I could send some of this rain to SP Ray.  We went to Sunday school and church this morning, and have our usual relaxing Sunday afternoon ahead of us.  I was able to catch the Belmont Stakes before we left for Sunday school.  It was too bad California Chrome did not win, but winning the Triple Crown is a difficult task to do.

Morning.  Over slept for Sunday School.  Sunny and real warm.  Chances of T'storms increase during the week.  Got HS graduation tonight in Raleigh.  Have to dress up and drive in.

Must be a bunch of the gang with sore fingers.  Can't seem to post on the Pot.

Hope all have a great week.

Good Afternoon! 73, cloudy, wind picking up and rain is on the way. Went to my friend Vince's Celebration of Life yesterday. His wife put up a large collage on the backyard fence of pictures thru the years. My wife and I with the kids were in a lot. We did a lot of things thru the years together. Nothing exciting going on today, just cutting the grass. Laz: Congrats to your Brother! That is some feat. Dennis: Nice score on the Challenger. Enjoy it. Brent: Those are priceless memories. Banks: Good luck with the crops and I hope you enjoyed the Dirt Drags. Joe D: Sorry about the baseball tournament. California Chrome's owner is already crying about the loss. SPMan, Ray: Happy Birthday to your son and god luck with the other issues. Chief: Hope the Graduation Goes well. Fife: Prayers for Your Grandma. AF Ray: The package arrived yesterday. Enjoy the Day! Good evening all,

Quiet day.  Did get to watch the F-1 race.  Of course the Indy 500 will always be first in my heart, but there is nothing like the sound of F-1.   They put on a heck of a show today with the Mercedes streak snapped and Ricciardo getting his first win.   Took wife to see "Maleficent".   First 2/3s were boring, but the last bit moved along pretty good.  Elle Fanning is a good actress.  I hope everyone will have a good day.

Evenin' Dudes & Dudettes.

Friday went well after working around a couple of early morning DCS gremlins. Should've known better than to take only DCS  engines. Saturday was my veg-out day to recover from the museum. Did a couple of small things this morning and spent the afternoon cooking up a pot of marinara sauce and some sweet sausage, dinner today and tomorrow night. Dinner

Chief, Fingers aren't sore but the shoulders sure are. Need to go back to school for grace. Took a tumble on the hill in the side yard followed a few days later by tripping and falling at the museum. Bang Head In the yard I landed on my right shoulder and at the museum it was the left shoulder. Is that what one would call balance ? Smile, Wink & Grin Tomorrow morning I need to crawl up the hill again and pull some weeds, hopefully that's all I pull. Clown

Kev, Time has been flying, seems like just yesterday the munchkin was just a bundle being held in my arms but he'll be nine come Sept. Sigh

Fife, Don't forget you get your choice of music for the "Father-Daughter Dance", my choice was "Thank God For Kids" by the Oakridge Boys.

Later all ........

Downtown to High School graduation [not Rolesville but Rolesville kids].  One more year for that one then Rolesville High School will have its own senior class and graduation [new high schools start with 9th and 10th grades].  Super lucky.  Right into a parking space [free] and a short walk to the building as they opened the doors.  Down to VIP lounge.  Marched on stage, smiled, sat through grads walking across stage and marched out.  Out of parking space before traffic got bad and home to real tomato sandwiches.

A little TV and reclinerize.

Gracious, hitting the old bottle again. Whistling  No, glad you did not get banged up bad.

Actually, I'm calling the Dr. tomorrow AM.  Where the stiches came out are not looking good per Wifey.  Keep cleaning and putting on ointment.  Hurts worse than right after operation and can not sit back with pressure on incision.

Sleep tight.

Konbanwa and Ohayo Chuck,

Thankfully the rain let up for most of the day which allowed me to enjoy an eight-mile run this morning, but the humidity was brutal.  The rain and thunderstorms started again this evening.  We received an emergency alert about a mudslide in an area about no more than 10 miles from us.  It is a mountainous area so I'm not too surprised.  We had barbecue pork shoulder for dinner; the wife started slow cooking it this morning.

AF Ray - It's good to see you.  The Yankees are killing me.  Sigh

Hudson John - I read about his ranting.  The rules have been that way for a long time, even when we had previous Triple Crown winners.  It's supposed to be hard to win it. Dunce

Sayonara,

Joe

Mornin' boys.  Mornin' English. Humid and gray in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Took uncle (we're close in age so more like an older brother to me) and his daughter out on the yatchet Saturday morning.  They needed to recharge.  It was a nice sail and lunch at my favorite Pirate lair.  Yesterday, Wifey and I just kinda hung out, checking out houses on the web.  Today, long day....

Thanks for all the well-wishes.  She passed quietly, peacefully on Friday.

Good day all, It's already after noon.  Slept late.  Had birthday dinner and cake for #1 son last night.  Grandson showed off his pictures of recent trip to Johnson Space Center in Houston where he and 4 other students were invited for a space project they worked on.  He got to sit in mock up of shuttle cockpit and took some photos in there.  Also he and the other kids made a presentation to NASA people including three astronauts who have been on space station.

Chief, hope your incision clears up soon.  Thank you for the prayers for wife and me.

later,

Hi GUYZ,

Busy as the BEE LINE today.  Used the sledge hammer and digging iron to bust up old pavilion pad.  Not to bad no reinforcing rods so just a matter of time sweat and some good old muscle to get them lifted on the truck.  Then unloaded them at farm pond for reinforcing the breast of pond.  Now I got to order a truck load of mulch to do flower beds.  Geez it seems like it just keeps on coming with more work?

FIFE sorry for your lossAngel.

Stay frosty my friends,
