Good Morning, 39 and SUNNY in Bayville, NJ.
Chief, We stole the sun! It feels nice.
Went for a walk with the Dynamic Duo this morning. No incidents! WOW, it has been almost a week now. Chester just teased my Daughter's dogs that was about it.
Ryan, I would have done what you did. Keep him comfortable.
Jack: Dolls, Teddy Bears, you name it it is here.
Rich: Good Luck with the Divorce.
SJ: I missed you by a few minutes last night. We had to empty the freezers so they could be defrosted. Now to load them. That is a good idea that the Chief hides his keys inside the car. This way he does not loose them. I have been there and done that!
Anybody hear from Traindood? I miss his comments about the Yankees.
Have a Great Day!
John
Temp is 26 and cloudy. Probably gonna stay right around there all day.
Kev I would be very careful about advice from the Chief. I hear he hid the keys Inside the cars.
A good breakfast this morning should last me into the late afternoon. I will be heading out soon to help setup the modular layout for tomorrows show. The last of the big shows for this winter season...S.J.

Good morning. From the sounds of my parents, we may be doing some around the house work today.
The Lehigh Valley Railroad, the Route of the Black Diamond Express, John Wilkes and Maple Leaf.
-Jake, modeling the Barclay, Towanda & Susquehanna.
Morning. Watching Fox news. Usually don't as too far right. Seems they are making sence today. Had great breakfast buffet free with room. Now off to the store.
One problem. Which one of you Yankees stole the sun? Still warn compared to NC and especially up Nawth.
KEV, will email you a nice place to hide a key [when I get home]. Got one for each of my vehicles.
Have a great day.

Good morning. It's 32° with 81% humidity. The high will be 48°.It's going to be a cool one today. A northwest wind is coming across the lake making it feel colder than it actually is. This gives a good incentive to stay inside and work on the layout. There's still plenty more clean-up work to be done.

Good Morning from Dullville...
Wherein we can has very gray dull skies for our viewing pleasure...oh....and cold as well....
Last few days have been kinda hectic around here...brokenpipeville struck again, this time behind us, which lead to me having to shovel out a channel for the water to go around my house, rather than into the basement...loads of fun I tells ya...
Anyhow...got a few HD things to attend to then it is off to my empire and play with the trains for awhile...
Have a good one!!

Hello all
Having an entertaining time w/ my observers from Sweden. "Mama's, don't let your children grow up to be astronomers..."
Having an even more entertaining time w/ the computer that controls movement of the telescope. It's never quite fully recovered from the power outage issue. After the system crashed tonight my boss basically abandoned me. Instead of following his suggestion and keep having to reset the system every few minutes, I attempted to rearrange the rat's nest of cables that seemed to be causing interference. So far, so good.
Going to punch the hole in the chassis for the voltmeter in the circuit breaker set-up before I crash out this morning.
PrairieType - nice work on the FA! An Alco is always worth saving!
Wonder if the Chief is going to go dynamite fishing w/ one of those swamp air-boats while he is in Florida? I guess it's ok if he pees in the fan because it's facing backward...

Good Morning from Blueberryhill RR....
It is a cold 26 degrees. No snow. Going up to 36 today with cloudy skies.
Today is an easy day. I have a few chores to do and then I will relax and do some work on a train project. Then, lunch and a nap.
Dining car is here with Cheerios for breakfast.
Y'all have a great Saturday.
Chuck
Surprise - I'm up...some dumba$$ decided to play chicken with a Silver Maple at 0430 this morning....
Final Score: Maple 1 Pathfinder 0.
Victim is alive but swears he didn't hit the tree........What tree?
Chief - thanks for the offer, but since my Princess is living there, I don't want to deprive her of her room and board. Maybe a whack to the knee caps would be better . Enjoy the Spring Breakers....WOOHOO!!!!
Finishing my McD's coffee and Egg O'Muffin...I think I'll head BACK upstairs to bed especially since I don't have to work today!!

Evening all!
Well made it back to the Pot twice in one week!
jeffrey - so sorry about your Mother.
brent - our dog adopted all the stuffed animals. Not many of them left now
Another long week this week. One of my friends who just retired commented that she would have worked longer but did not think she would have to work as hard as she was at our age. I know how she feels. Work has become an endless slog with few breaks and no fun at the workplace anymore.
Been pretty cool here but not cold enough to kill off the bugs,
Have a great evening all!
Regards, Roy
Hey guys, only thing going on tonight was work. Really felt like relaxing after that.
Night.
Hello all,
Home from frying fish. Had a shower and a soak in the Hot Tub. Now savoring a glass of wine while I catch up here. Fish fry was hectic tonight. 850+ and more help would have been a big plus.
Kev........I'd play it safe and hide a key somewhere on your pickup. All my vehicles have one somewhere. Due to a brain cramp they do get used on occasion.
Well I'd best get to bed. Son is going to stop here on the way home from work to haul manure
Prayers for those in need

I just watched a "Pickers" that I had not seen before. It was nice to see something new on TV. Lunch today was Whopper Jrs and free coffee. I will wait up for the thingy, banilla on hand...S.J.
Ryan you have a friend there for life. If you can even if he is only 6 months its 6 months he deserves to live. my cats have been strays/wild cats I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. Most loving cats you can ask for.
Evening all. well just took it easy most of the day did a little on the layout but just easy stuff got on a ladder and crawled on it and put some screws in to hold the boards to the framing so I was able to craw across it and put screws in it then rerolled the carpet out as far as I'm. need to start laying track again and doing some wiring. Will need to get some bridge rectifiers so I can run my DC lights. Block signals that look more scale to me.
My train control signals I have will run off of a DC transformer but can't do my block that way as plan to let the switch be the control of the red and green lights for the block signal.
Well chief is in FL so we can play
Not much else going on tonight waiting for the tardis

Harold,
No kidding. Why I am looking foward to another grandson. (guy stuff) We have 3 granddaughters.
Precious Moments are next.
Well, it's time to call it a night. Bringing all those groceries in earlier was almost like work and putting them up in the cabinets wasn't very comfortable either. I should sleep good tonight. See y'all tomorrow.
wrconstruction Good Evening Were back from the Vet office, with not so good news. The poor guy is FIV positive, but Negative for Feline Luecheamia (SP) They said we should consider having him put down. They said he could live a month to 10 years. How do you make life alter decisions base on that information? If they had said less than six months , then questions answered. They also said that as long as he's kept inside, and doesnt fight with the other cats, theres not much of a chance he will infect the others, less a 1% chance through the water bowl. So I had them treat his fleas, ear mites, sinus infection, and eye issues, and brought him home. They said his leg issue is "healed the way it is and no point doing anything about it" I'll see how he is in a few weeks, before I make decisions regarding the rest of his life. I now have a 220.00 investment in a cripled flea bag. A well behaved, nice loving crippled flea bag, at that. Ryan

SAD,
Ryan, It seems that cats can live with cat AIDS. Has he been fixed? If not that would help as for he would not be getting into so many fights and swapping blood. .Just a thought. heck he should be fixed anyway.
The wife is freeking out now about George, but I think they give him shots for it. We need to check. he is due for shots this month.
Evening all
Been a great day. Went into work late after taking the kids to school. Led the 1st through 6th grade in Stations of the Cross and a Divine Mercy Chaplet. The elementary shool kids are great.
Just about to finish putting the EGT and boost gauge on my Dmax. Should finish Saturday if all goes well. Anxious to get it done but forcing myself to go slow and avoid mistakes.
Ryan I use a synthetic oil in all my vehicles and it is good for a year or 25000 miles. Runs about $9 a qt. but saves money in the long run.
Cool and snowed a ew times today but no accumulation. So far we have had a very easy winter.
Good night and may God bless
Jim
anjdevil2 Divorce papers on 3rd review , hopefully I can get them sent out by tomorrow. USPS is open until 4. I have a fighting chance at least. I can't wait until she gets them in the mail...I'm sure she'll have something nasty to say. She usually does.....

Rich, is she in Jacksonville? I'm down here in Florida [Ft. Lauderdale]. Want me to run up there and make a "volin case" visit?
Think that would end all your troubles.
Still shirt sleeve weather. Went out to dinner and to get Diet Ginger Ales. Now for a rest. I'm really tired.
Flight from Charlotte here was not a usual one. Bounced, twisted and everything but flipped over. I'm use to it as flew in small aircraft a lot [L-19 and Piper Super cub] with Forestry and Wildlife. I kept saying, "Change altitude." Finally I realized the nose was down and sure enough, she smoothed out. After that, I think they put sleeping gas in the O2 tank. Wake up about 3/4 of the way here and just about everyone was asleep. I usually do not sleep on flights unless late at night. About the time we touched down, Oriental guy two seats over threw up mightily [he had been asleep since take off until then]. What a mess and smell. Was glad to get off that plane. OH, pilot went to 90% flaps still straight with the wing. A might roar and vibration went all over the plane. Continued for 10 minutes. Should have seen the passengers looking outside and all around. Old 737. When he went to fill flaps but still level with the wing, noise stopped. Plane half full of kids on spring break. Glad I do not fly like I did several years ago. Another thing, going through TSA now. You almost have to completely undress before going through body scan. TSA folks were real nice but this is a little much. Also, no Sky Caps at RDU. All automated. Does away with employees. Now I know why I quit this job flying all over the USA to Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's.
Sleep tight.
Yeah, I'm sending the unsigned copies to her, Priority Mail, Return Receipt Requested with Signature. I'll have another Priority Mail envelope already posted and addressed for her to return it. She just needs to get it signed with a notary and send it back. The signature will prove service. 35 days after the state receives it, they will rule on it.
I have unlimited copies in case she want to play stupid games....
RICH, make sure you end em CERTIFIED SIGNATURE REQUIRED
just to be a tad more of a pee pee head...........
and one by regualar mail, and put in the letter, that is purley a copy sent by certified mail #xxxx xxxx xxxx xxx and constitution of recipt requires signature and refusal to sign defaults offer as accepted heheheheh
been there, done that, and bought the shirt
LOL (with ya)
Brent - no problem. The reviewers raved about the Durango and th Grand Cherokee "ride"...its all Benz...and that's why. Powertrains like I said are all MoPar. The 3.6 Phoenix engine is amazing with 295-305 HP depending on the application. Hemis are in the 350-375 range I think.
You have a good looking family, that's for sure. I'll second what Jack and Buckeye have stated...them Barbies aint cheap at all....and the accessories that "b" has...OMG...the doll is better dressed than some of my ex-wife's co-workers...
Ryan - Good luck on the "flea bag", he'll love you forever...cats ain't dumb. They know who saves their lives (all 9 of 'em). I'm looking forward when I can have my own place with a fur ball that's all my own again.
Like most of you all, I've done paying the bills and gonna wait until Monday for the bank balance to even it self out. Then maybe the headers will be ordered. Divorce papers on 3rd review , hopefully I can get them sent out by tomorrow. USPS is open until 4. I have a fighting chance at least. I can't wait until she gets them in the mail...I'm sure she'll have something nasty to say. She usually does.....
Happy March!!

Brent....The American Girl merchandise will probably put you in the poor house since it involves trips for tea parties in NYC, Chicago or San Fran. Have fun drinking out of those dinky little cups.

Jeff, I think (key word is think) with these newer oils you can go 5000 between oil changes.)
I let my desiel go 5000 some times longer. I put 100,000 on it the first year I had it. thats still alota oil changes. its a GMC 2500 HD with the Duramax engine and the Alison Tranny. I have pulled loaded tractor trailer outa my dock i the snow with it. I have hauled mid sized excavators and back hoes with it. when I was broke, hauling steel daily just to buy more, it was nothing to have 3K lbs of preped HMS #1 in the bed of that truck. And boy does it show now.......
Kev and Laz should know what that is.
I got addicted to deseil trucks 10 years ago when deseil was 0.50 a gallon, now its 4.20.
only put 50K on it in the last 4 years. Now its paid off, and my scrap business is to the point where I dont haul scrap in my truck any more, the truck is whipped it looks like a 20 year old truck. but runs well.
I'm gonna run it out to at least 250K , and trade or scrap it and get an S10 or 1500. I just dont need all that truck anymore. , but its nice when you need it
Well, in sunny Florida. One thing. Someone forgot to tell the sun to shine. Cloudy and spitting rain drops once in a while. One thing is, mid 60's. In shirt sleeves. Well, nice suite. Livingroom, wet bar, king size bed, two big flat screens and more. Fancy hotel [Holiday Inn] with great restaurant [fabolus breakfast buffet] and nice bar [for all the drinking Yankees]. Actually 39 miles from Bass Pro but great price and Pro Mariner likes the savings. Those near Bass Pro start at $250 per night. Spring break makes it worse.
Now for some dinner as not eaten since 9 AM.
Later
Got the bills paid. The groceries have been bought and put away. Got gas for the van. I have money set aside for my meds and for a package I need to send out. I had to do without some grocery items I consider luxuries (others might consider them basic) and skipped the oil change on the van (I hardly drove it the last couple of months so it's still good) in order to scrape together $39 to get a Rock Island E-R Models (Roco) FP7. My father chipped in for the shipping. I should have it by Wednesday.
OhayĆ,
I’m awake earlier than usual this Saturday morning; the youngest was awake and ready to go. It’s now 0710 and I might wake up the older two around 0800. We need to go for a short run this morning, but I’m trying to let them wake up on their own; however, the older boy sometimes sleeps until 0930 on Saturday mornings and I don’t want to wait that long to go for the run. The wife and I scheduled the babysitter for four hours this afternoon. She and I may take the train to Tokyo by ourselves today to do some shopping.
Kev – When you figure out the issue with your truck, you should charge the dealership to tell them how to fix it. Then you could go to York.
Laz – The banilla is safe; granny only lets SJ leave Michigan to go to York. Are you taking photos of all your layout work?
Prairietype – I’m looking forward to seeing more photos of the Alco.
Sayonara,
Joe
