G97P - call around to local computer repair and used computer places.  You might be able to get that memory a lot cheaper used and it should be fine.  Good luck on the job!

Back to work, lunch is over!

Happy St. Pats Day all!

Happy B-Day Brent! Happy B-Day

Sorry Buckeye that your scheme has been revealed - no more "gifts" from NC for you (you know there are heating stoves that burn cow chips).

Cloudy and windy here - 70 today?

Good news about Sir J!

Have a great day everyone!

Brent,

Happy B-Day  The interview seemed to go well, and one of the guys that interviewed me said that they'd have some "internal discussion" and that HR would get back to me once they finished other interviews for the position.

Buckeye,

                 Happy B-Day this week.Wink

Chuck,

Did you get my email?  $3.55 for 87 seems like a bargain compared to the $3.89 for 93 last Saturday.Bang Head

Still on the hunt for PC2100 DDR.  Ebay is looking like the best bet as Staples wants $77 for a 1GB stick, and Newegg isn't much better.

Happy St. Patricks Day:      As my Irish aunt Mae would say (let her rest in peace,God Bless Her)" Everyone is Irish on ST. Paddy's day"., to which me own mother would answer," Yea but we all know St. Paddy was Italian, captured by pirates and sold to slavers in Ireland". Thats all mom had to say; then it would begin. And a fine Irish brouhaha it was!!  Talk about gettin' Yer Irish up. Holy Smokes!!   WHEW!!    After awhile (decades) , we would laugh at the foolishness.  And in heaven today when they start in about St. Paddy, the angels probably say, "Enough already, give it a rest"     Laugh    You'all  have a great day.

Top of the Mornin' To Ye!

Mornin' Fellas.

Thanks for the birthday wishes.

Got a call yesterday from the gas company in Pittsburgh that they had to shut off the gas to the rental property as they detected a leak outside the house. Going to set me back a nice chunk o' change! Sad[tdown] The have to insert a new line from the street to the house, move the meter from inside the house to the outside, install a new connection from the meter and tie into the extisting pipes in the house. Lots of tests and inspections as well. Sickening. IMHO the gas company installed the meter in the house originally so it should be their expense to move it outside! But NO!

Good thing I have off tomorrow... that bottle of Canadian Club is looking rather inviting right now. Big Smile

JT - How'd the interview fair?

Fife - conga to princess #2 on the EMT certification!

Brutus - conga to Char! Angel for continued progress!

Good Morning from Blueberryhill....

It is a clear 40 degrees. Going up to 50 today with sunshine.

Today is a busy day. I have the usual chores to do and an errand to run. Gas prices have gone nuts again. $3.55 a gallon for 87 here. Everytime anything happens in the world, the gas companies use it to jack the prices up.

Brent.....Happy B-Day

SJ....Glad you're doing better.

Dining car is here with Cheerios for breakfast.

Y'all have a great Thursday.

Good morning all,

IIABSDISEI with temps near 70.  Happy St. Patty's Day!  Happy Birthday, Brent! (and Buckeye, as I missed the other 2 or 4 that already occurred).  Good to hear about SJ.  Dennis, hang in there.  Chief, no such thing as too much reclinerizing (sort of like no such thing as too much soccer).  Watched a movie with family last night.  Back to case reports today at work.  I had the regular fare on the dining car for breakfast before sending it on to "Points East".  TBIL and I can drive.  Last night was a good run even without the banilla although it was missed as was SJ.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

S J is fine.  How do I know?  I called him [thanks Jim F for the number].  He was b--ching about spending another night in the hospital.  Told him his problem was not eating GRITS.  To that, the usual YANKEE response. Zip it! Huh?

Off to bed.  Reclinerized too long.

Happy Birthday Brent and thank you!

Talked to SJ for a few this evening and he sounded good.  We think he'll go home tomorrow, but he is trying to get a few of the nurses' phone numbers before he goes Laugh

Wife and kids are going to visit her folks in KC this weekend on Amtrak.  They are leaving early in the morning on Friday, so I can't go.  She has to get a crown replaced as the one on the tooth next to that tooth they cut out a month ago came off.  She's hoping to get it glued back on until they can replace it though.  Just a minor blip in the road.

I think we hit 60 degrees today - went to work in a heavy coat and came home in shirt sleeves.  Nice!

Okay - Tardis is ready, Freddy - beacons are on the screen and we have some banilla to deliver.  Hit it Mike!

RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

Good evening all,

I left work early today to help out the wife with the kids; she was not feeling too well.  Our 7y/o son had hitting practice today so I brought our daughter and baby along.  After dinner, I had Bible study at the church.  The wife stayed home with the baby.  I just got the baby asleep and will be in the bed soon myself.  I had no time for trains tonight.

Good night,

Joe

Getting warmer in southern Ohio.  It was in the mid 60's.  We played basketball in shirt sleeves and felt great.

SJ - Prayers for a speedy recovery.

Brent  - Happy Birthday-  are you going to get a first aid kit as a gift.

Good night and God bless

Heck pat why not what you do is join facebook and put down a date about a month befor your birthday then join one of the other ones and put a date about month after your birthday and then you put your real birthday out on another that way you get 3 times the presents and 3 times the wishes

RT - Do you think a nice guy like Brent would copy the dastardly deeds of an Ohio renegade from Rogers Corner? By the way, Happy B-Day Buckeye ( is this #2 or #3?)
