Hi GUYZ,

This site was as slooooooow as Molasses in a SNO HI O winter day in getting page open.  WOW!.  Anyways it was 22 and usual cool start here, suppose to get rain tonite and tomorrow.  They say copious amonts to fall from sky.  I'm getting ready for Big Train Show in ALLENTOWN on Saturday.  Gonna invest in a TIPPI Foam Cutter.  Any of YUZ GYZ ever use one?  Here's a site if you want to check it out.

BUCKEYE, you must have rug burns from playing with the rug rat?  Fridays a comin.

Stay frosty,

laz57

Laz --  get the biggest Hot Wire Foam cutter you can find.  We burned through the first smaller unit fairly quickly, we then found a much bigger/hotter unit that is well worth the money, you won't be sorry.  I don't see the unit we bought in this listing but I'll keep looking and let you know.  They are a WONDERFUL invention!

Thanks JON for the heads up on the hot wire.  I'll keep that in mind.

Good afternoon/evening all,

We had Bible study last night and by the time I put the kids to bed it was late and I was bushed.  Needless to say I did not post.  It was a little cool today and we had some much needed rain; a couple of mild thunderstorms as well.  We don't have any big plans for tonight.  We will go out for dinner, but I need to get to bed early tonight.  I will be up very early tomorrow: I have to drive to Pine Bluff, AR, to swap out a piece of equipment.  It will be a 14-hour or so roundtrip drive.  I hope to get some train time in though before I go to bed.

Prayers for all those in need.

Good night,

Joe

Evening all,

Sad day.  My best friend Bob died last night from complications from hip surgery.  He 85 I think. Bob is the man responsible for getting me hooked on American Flyers S gauge trains.  He was my friend, my mentor and my hero.  He was the father I never knew.  One of my proudest moments was after I was ordained, he said he was proud of me.  I really loved him.  He is truly a saint

Good night and may God bless.

Good Evening Gents,

Angel for Mike C., Jim Phish, Brutus and all our intentions

It was fire drill night here at Station 41 and watching Ben Hur (rower #41) and I'm on page 41, so it all works out for me.

Really busy at work, 11-12 hour days.  Have a cold coming on now also...

Won some Atlas track on Go Motor Bids, was a good price too!

Going to hit the bed and catch up on the earlier posts later....have a good night!

Snow, then slush, then rain, then snow again today.  It is wet and sloppy, but a whole lot less accumulation than if it was all snow.

Jim - condolances on the loss of your friend.

Got my wife home from the hospital today.  Shuffling the house around to allow clearance for the walker she will be using for the next couple of weeks.  Got to wait around for the home care people to stop by tomorrow.  Sort of a traveling nursing service, I guess.

All for now.

Good evening all,

It was rainy in SE Indiana today.  Jim, my condolences on the loss of your friend.  I see where there are plenty of beacons lit for tonight and the Tradis is headed out with full power to the stabilizers.  I see where Illinois is going to be the site for a new TV series, "Land of the Lost.....Legislators"  :-)   I did a lot of executor type things today.  Still a little sore from the soccer.  I had the regular fare plus a donut today.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Good Morning, 45 and Heavy Rain with High Wind forecasted. It may be a real busy day for us.

Jim, Condolences and Prayers for your friend Bob. It is tough losing a friend and mentor like Bob.

Buckeye, I agree, TGIF. But with this storm I probably will have to work tomorrow. So much for a cut back on OT.

Wish me luck, today I meet with a manager for my salary review. I received great ratings on my "Performance Partnership". 15 pages of BS.

Prayers and Thoughts for all in need.

Time to get ready for the Safety Huddle.

Have a Great Day

Morning.  Warm and Storm.  May have Lightning

Sat up late watching an Emmy award movie on TCM [they are doing them until the awards].  Wifey calls and wakes me up.  Then since the clouds are so low, airliners are dropping down to land at Charlotte so you hear these screams.  The northern apporach is over BPS which is across I-85 from the hotel.  Charlotte Douglas is a very busy airport this time of the day.  No going back to sleep. Bang Head Dressed and went to free breakfast up the hall [I always get first floor near the lobby].  Now to get ready and go to the store.

8N, speedy recovery for the Wife.

Aloha all. Sunny here. The snow left just a dusting instead of what was forecast. Glad for that!  Forgot to post yesterday amid all the hubub that happens when I tackle the taxes. At least they're done and sent it. They're kind of easy when you don't have any money Wink  Oh boy, it's Friday! Made it.

Mike C, sounds like a great service for your dad. The Wisconsinites are holed up in a motel near our town.

Just viewed a half-hour of video by our Chief on the hazards of littering. Big Smile Go Chief!

Jim, I'm very sorry to hear of your friend Bob's death.

Rich, Ben Hur is a great movie! (and better book).  8ntruck, hope your bride continues her recovery.

Well, have to go set up a web conference with folks in Egypt and Tunisia. They ought to have something to say about the last few weeks...

Hello all,

Fast week, going to take the grand kids to the open house at the Alto Model Train Museum this weekend. They really enjoy going there.   You can check it out here

http://www.trainweb.org/altoonatrain/

For some reason I can't make that a direct link like I used to with the space bar.

Phish, my condolences and prayers for your friend.

8N, sounds like your Mrs is doing well.

Rainy and yucky here. A change to snow is predicted with little accumulation.

Mrs and daughter are planning an open house next Sunday at my folks house to celebrate the 65th anniversary of their wedding.  I plan to do as I'm told for the next week.

SS Fund is calling. I'll try to get in for a cup over the weekend.

Prayers for those in need

Good evening all,

It is cloudy in SE Indiana with temps in the 30s today.  Met with the attorney today.  This estate stuff is mind-blowing.  Never figured it would be this complicated and this is considered a "simple" estate.  Brain is zooed.  I had cereal and a donut for breakfast.  TBIL and I can drive again.  Shoud not need the stabilizers as much tonight.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Was only 74 today. its presently 65 at 9 P.M. did have some rain this morning. Which is good as my roses can use it. There all starting to spout leaves now. Don't think going to mess with tomatoes this year we have fertilized and everything but this ground here just won't grow decent tomatoes we have never had a problem befor anywhere we lived other than one year in FL. when the squirrels would come take the green tomatoes befor they could grow much bigger than about 1" around Never knew squirrels liked tomatoes. I wanted to have target practice but wife wouldn't let me lol.
So I would coach the neighbors cat over our way  Whistling

not much going on here got err sound commander F3/F7 sound board in ( yes I know its not the right one but ) and plan to put it in my PA-1 as it only has signal sounds and want something as engine sound for it and got this as at a deal price.  these relay don't put out the volume i like but it will do. Might get rail sounds later but not in budget at moment.

Talk to you all later plan to run my trains in a few right now going to go make some muffins sweet tooth bugging me lol

Evenin' All.

Jim S., condolences on your loss. Seems like we have been saying that an awful lot of late. Angel

Went to the museum today, seems like that was not a wise choice. Feels like the CRUD is coming back, a bit of a fever & chills tonite. But it was nice to get out of the house and run some trains.

OK, who's working that dang SNOHIO cannon ? Correct your co-ordinates, they are saying we might get some snow here tomorrow ! It ain't supposed to SNOW here !

Bob, the scope is in for some nasty weather starting this weekend.

Later all.
