Good evening all,
I just returned from Bible study. We had a great first night and I'm thankful I have the opportunity to lead a study. It really shows me how much I need God. The kids are now in bed and it's time to relax with the wife.

S.J. - I'll stop by for a quick scoop of banilla.
Good night,
Joe
Light rain here most of today.
Just found out today that the UP Challanger will be stopping here overnight on Oct. 9. Sounds like a good day to use up a vacation day. I'll try to get some video too.
All for now.
Brutus,
I am going to look at USA Jobs tonight. I am waiting on a friend to return a call regarding some possibilities as well. I was in the area earlier, so I stopped and looked at that Mustang again. I need one of those. I'd sell the PGT in a minute if it would help.
I saw you were on Live the other day. I need to renew my Gold subscription asap.
Good Evening
A nice sunny day in the 70s.
Mike I hope you understand I was funnin.
We got a fresh supply of banilla so the thingy trip should be a go

PS - Jim, did you look on USAJOBS?
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Keep keeping on Mike! Even when you don't win, you got to play, right? I've been trying to be more active lately - had gotten into the habit of just sitting around, which is not good.
Demay - my kids are just breaking into the teens now and we've already had our son and daughter break up with their girlfriend and boyfriend, lol! I just act like I don't know what's going on - seems to be working so far!
Dennis - you are sure right about that.
Pat - ears are WARM
Okay - I thought I posted here and on the-gauge last night, but apparently I only thought about it, lol.

Wes W.,
I was wondering where you were. Good to see you back.
88,
What's having a real full time job like? To say the least, I am getting fed up with the search. Trying to get a loan for this yesterday didn't help either. Not happy about it at the moment.

I was going to post last night, but I was too upset about this ^ and being stuck working in a grocery store for $8.70/hr with a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering Technology. Sorry for the negativity, but I am just stressed out right now.
Good afternoon all,
Just a quick break from work to write a post or two. Pretty pleasant day weather wise and a slight possibility of rain. I will be very busy the remainder of the work week since I will be going to San Antonio next week for a leadership conference.
Thanks for the support Fife and CNW.
More later,
fifedog 88 - too much boyfriend drama lately. Dad's antics would not be appreciated at current time.

fifedog:
My first thought on your 88 was you were picking a winner of the chase, not possible since he finished 19th. Then realized you meant lion roar 88.
So I ask again - who to you pick to win the chase?

Good Morning
Sun and 70s today.
I was up and out early, doc appointment, was given a referal to a jaw disorder specialist. And I have no dential coverage. I'm hoping medicare and BC will see it as a medical condition. Yea I know it's a loooog shot but maybe. Doug M we looked for you last nite but we went on without you. You were missed though.
Mike C maybe it's time you considered a different sport, like a basket weave contest or something along those lines....lol
Well I'm out of here before I get in trouble ...S.J.
88 - Remember, my mountain construction involves a fine lattice work of MOLSON (Canadian) cases (they seem to handle the stress of the plaster cloth the best ). So when you're ready to begin the prerequisite material gathering, lemme know.
It does take a certain amount of commitment.
Good morning all,
Teen drama. Been there, done that. Survived. I pity all those going thru it now. Never want to do it again. On added note from last night, I did play the entire game (no subs) and walked off the field on my own power. It would be nice to win (or even be close), but I am so happy to be playing.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Aloha all. Sunny here again. Class went well last night. Bride has a huge cold so didn't get much sleep. Today's a caffeine day I guess. Teens = Drama. It's an equation. As father to a 19 year old girl and 16 year old boy, Iet me just say: Bwahahahahahaha

Mornin' Fellas. Not much goin' on around here except work. I started working on building the model kits that will comprise the Domino Sugar plant on the layout. Once this is done I can start building the base for the town. After viewing Timboy's blog I think I have a good idea for how to build the valley... so may start that as well.
fifedog Mornin' boys. Well in the city state's atty race, the challenger edged the entrenched incumbent by 1%. Kinda like a toe-hold on hope. Demay - Teenage daughters. Bwah-hah-hah-ha-ha...

Good Morning from Blueberryhill....
It is a clear 62 degrees. Going up to 82 today with sunshine.
Today is a busy day. I have an errand to run, and the usual chores around the house. This afternoon, I have PT for an hour. Then, I can relax.
Dining car is here from "Points West". I will have the usual Cheerios breakfast.
Y'all have a great Wednesday.
Chuck
IIASBSDISEI with temps in the 80s. Not a good night on the soccer field last night. "My" soccer girls got pounded 6-0 in both varsity and JV, and my team lost 8-0. Unlike last week's game, we were out of it as soon as the ball was kicked. The other team just had too many weapons, and we were on our heels the entire game. I was not goalie at all and did have some good touches, but I was also badly beaten defensively several times. I had the regular fare on the dining car for breakfast before sending it off to "Points East". TBIL anytime and I can drive again. I hope everyone has a good day.
Good evening everyone. Joe, you are right about SS. I think Fife is onto something. Perhaps if they made congress face the same rules/insurance, etc. the rest have to and if recipients of OPM (Other People's Money) had to have drug screens, then things would seem a bit better....oh well.
Brutus, great news on Char. Hope progress continues with as few bumps in the road as possible. You are right to notice where this all comes from. I have seen too many good people with excellent care not do well and it can only be answered by a higher authority. Of course, I have also seen some folks who should not have lived through some of the events that have happened and they too do well.
It is way past my bed time, so I will call it a night.God Bless,Dennis

I took our 9y/o daughter out for a father/daughter dinner date after she finished her ballet class. Of all the places she could have picked, she chose a Chinese buffet. She smart enough not to overeat like most people do at a buffet (me included) so I just cannot figure out why she likes it so much. Oh well, I suppose it will be even more difficult to figure her out when she gets to the teenage years.
After dinner, I put the kids to bed and spent the remainder of my time preparing for a Bible study I begin leading tomorrow night.
No ice cream tonight fellas, I need to get to bed.
fifedog Gee, I wonder is SS was set up to support habitual drunks, pill-poppers, and heroin addicts...? That's what I deal with on a daily basis.

Evening all!
T-Storms just rolled through and we got a nice shower from it. Mid-90's for next week. Nice weekend in store. Hope so as I am taking the boy scouts out on the boat for a water sports (skiiing and wakeboarding) merit badge event Sat.
Wes, Sturg - rental houses - ugh - we have a house in Dallas that we have been renting for 20+ years. It breaks even. It is in an area where property values do not ever rise even though it is a nice neighborhood. Houses are small though and were built in late 40's early 50s - so they are just boxes. No garage - just a single car carport. Thought about turning the carport into a garage but there is no return on the investment to be had. It is an prime example of how real estate is really doing here.
Pat - son is junior in HS so it is only for about 2 years (hopefully). I will use the time to plan a new layout. The present one is 15+ years old.
Hope all are well. Have a great evening what's left of it!
Jim,
Our Delaware Home (just north of Columbus) was rented out to our old childcare provider. In one year before they skipped town, they managed to do a lot of damage to the house. It required a complete repaint of the interior, including a full basement. I have been spending a lot of time fixing it up. I know I can't sell it for what I built it for 10 years ago. After a realtor, it's a loss. I'm hoping to get a better set of renters to hold me off. It's a gamble I guess.
Wes
Evening all
Sounds like everyone is holding their own. The house we're fixing up is going to be appraised Wednesday then we will try and sell it. I will be happy to break even on it. I do not want to rent it but will if I need to. We've had several calls already. We'll see.
Good night and may God bless
Jim
Have been over on the thingy .... no one home ....
Hey the coffees cold, ok I'll make a fresh pot. Still no banilla I'll get some tomorrow. Beacon is on so come on by with the thingy.
Sorry guys have not been on in over a week.Things have been crazy in my little world and was having some computer problems. When I would try to look at the pot my computer would freeze up.Hope all is well.
Fife - He is one of the best LBs in recent history and can hit like no other, but I do recall him almost going to jail not so long ago for an off-the-field incident
Joe.
Sorry, should have been Roy.
