Happy birthday, Don.
My wife said that she was up and dressed in 'civies' this morning, expecting to be released. The morning vitals check revealed that she had low blood oxygen. Back into hospital gown, restart the IV, took chest x-rays, stay overnight for observation. However, she is moving well - even got into trouble with the nurses for wandering the hall with her walker alone! We walked the hallways and talked while my son and I visited. Left behind an 'escape bag' - a change of cloths, her cell phone, and a box of non-hospital crackers. Hopefully tomorrow.

Thanks for all the Bday wishes! Cake was "Safe", no candles on Birthday Cakes are allowed during the fire season. Fortunately the current fire is North of LA, up in the Palmdale/Lancaster area. For the mostpart a rather desolate area.
Had an enjoyable day! We recently got FIOS tv capability, and one of the new channels available is RFD TV, obviously I am enjoying the train shows. But I came across "Big Joe's Polka Show", since the inlaws are Slavik/Polish, I tapped about 3 episodes, and played them today. They were a major hit! Everyone really enjoyed them, some for the music, others for the audience, some for the "hoakyness". But lots of laughter. Chris brought in a bottle of Baker's wiskey. Boy is that ever good stuff. Made by Jim Beam and is a Kentucky sour mash. Talk about smooth...... a little expensive, $50 for 750ml bottle. I didn't realize Beam had such a high quality bourbon.
Anyway, thanks for all the well wishes! Glad to see that the surgery went so well for Bob.

It is a foggy 72 degrees. Going up to 88 today with sunshine.
Today is an easy day. I have a few chores to do and then I will relax. Nascar race this afternoon. I will watch it from the train room. Not much else new here.

fifedogdbaker - Just got off the phone with Rich. 95 is driving him crazy in Virginia, so he's gonna drive on thru to NJ. Told him I will host a Mid-Atlantic region Coffee-Pot Symposium in August. It's a done deal, just need to pick a date. Talking a little burger and dog action on the grill as well.
