Fife--I did drag my caracass to the caucus, it's an excellent exercise to have your voice heard and I'm grateful for that. It will be interetesing to see how Huckabee will do against McCain this Tuesday, I would doubt that it will be a mandate for Huckabee. It should be a fun run up to Super Tuesday, hope it makes these long winter months go faster.
I am grateful to the citizens of Iowa who stood up last night and said "enough is enough" in both parties. Change is needed, I pray that it will happen.

Greg - To post pictures there are many ways. But what works for me is Shutterfly.com.

Don the way you discribe works well, If you are using IE 6 or IE 7, then you can make life just a little bit easer.
Assuming that you have already uploaded your pics to shutterfly, Open two windows of Internet Explorer, One to the CTT forum and one for shutterfly.
In the shutterfly window, select the pic you wish from its album.
In the second window of IE, open the CTT forum and post a reply.
Now back to shutterfly, place your mouse over the pic, right click it, and select 'Copy', now switch back to the CTT window and place your mouse in the post area and right click and select 'Past'. Your pic should appear in the CTT post area.

Starting my 7 days off. Going to Columbus to pick up bride at airport the classes tonight and Saturday. Hopefully Lowes will not mess up my order again and the sheet metal for my garage roof will come in so I can get it on while I am off. It is to warm up next week.
Don-Your "to-do" list sounds out of season to me! I wish I was doing the roofing in your weather than what we have here.

Of course we could probably do the work ourselves for 1/3 the cost since we seem to have so many handy fellas around now!Have to get a project done today at work... actually just enhancing a project I have been working on, the users got their first look last week and had a 'eureka' moment. They 'forgot' to include a few 'minor' features that are make or break... when the meeting was over I met with the development staff and one of them asked 'how can a minor feature be make or break?' I've often wondered this myself, but I told him in the minds of the user, anything is minor that is not a core component - say adding multiple addresses for one customer vs only one address. They don't realize that inorder to do this it requires changes to the database and to all the customer screens, etc... our job is to get it done so we can move on to the next project.

Cleaned the pool today ? You realize that will make it the target of every stray leaf in the neighborhood.
My preference was always Mountain High before my knees went bad. Before they started overselling the facilities it was great, guess that's what happens when you have to many bad snow seasons in a row. Has Chris ever tried June or Mammoth Mtn ? Only one word to describe them during the week, WOW.

Evening All -- Real busy day !
We have these rain storms coming in, so....
- Cut the lawn, (yard) more weeds than anything.
- Cleaned up all the backyard and blew out all the drainage areas along the side of the house.
- Cleaned pool
- Got new windshield wiper blades on El Camino
- Pulled weeds from back flower bed.
Sounds like I'm winterizing, huh ???
Also took picture of river bed directly behind us, so will have a "dry" picture and a "flowing" picture in a couple of day.

Chris spent the day snowboarding up at Big Bear today, and Kay worked the office.
Worked in train room, have ZW's all wired in, with circuit breakers on each circuit. Major achievenment.

I appreciate the information on how to post a picture to my signature. I will have to work at that one. I would like to post some pictures of my collection as requested but so far I have not been able to figure out how to do it. I thought I remembered a thread some time ago that gave directions on how to do it, but of course I didn't copy it and now I can't find it. There isn't even anything in the Faq. I've fiddled around with the option given in the posting section, but I can't get anything to show up when I copy it from my stored files either. So will someone take pity on the newbie once again and give me some help?

Buckeye--
It is over, the winds are blowing strong out of the west towards New Hampshire, good riddance. I don't mean to sound like a curmudgeon (like the Chief) but my goodness, the amount of money spent here has been incredible. Clinton and Obama have each invested $20 million, Romney $7 million of his own and it just goes on and on. Huckabee will win on the Republican side but he's going to be a one hit wonder.
I went downtown this morning as it was a beautiful day and I took some shots of the media trucks from all over the country, just crazy. I may enter a few of them in a competition next summer, we'll see how I feel in a few weeks after I've sat on them. I've got too many hobbies but I enjoy every one of them
My wife was having lunch with a friend in a food court this noon and Obama came through surrounded by the press and security, his wife came over to my wife and apologized for the comotion they were causing. She was extremely nice about it and felt bad.
Once every 4 years for the caucus is just about right.
Wow, look at all the new Coffee Pot "drinkers" we've got. Isn't this great? Glad tos ee so many faces. Been on phone on Town Board business all night long. Got newly elected Board member who thinks it is all about him. Is he in for a big surprise. He should have caught on when I put him at the last desk in the Commissioners row.

Cold here today and first day back at school for the kiddos. I like Coffee, Tea (hot or cold), but not espresso. One piece of good news, we have some OT money this month, so I'll have a couple extra $$$ soon. Usually just in time to pay off an unexpected bill!
Dave, I agree with Brent/EDW on this one and I would use some brand of backer board for ceramic tiles.
Been at the beach all day. Not too crowded again. I guess people just can't stand the sunshine here in Buckeyeland.

Arguments against wood can be summed up:
1. Wood would draw moisture from grout/thinset
2. Wood would be flexible, causing eventual cracking
3. Wood would expand/contract at a different rate than the tiles, causing cracking
Solution is to screw hardiboard or backerboard to the wood then lay tile. Laying tile direct on wood with expandable thinset/grout may or may not work depending on a host of variables
