Morning from Buckeyeland where the landscape has been painted white by Mother Nature.  Big Smile [:D]Remember we only get on the average 28 inches of snow a season and we just were handed 20.5 inches. Shock [:O]

Send Don a few photos of Ohio snow.  That should cheer him up.

If I could find the Garden RR, I thought about running the trains in the snow, but it is only 10 degrees and the grease freezes at this temperture.

Wow!  I hope everyone is safe.  Aren't the tOSU Buckeyes supposed to start spring practice?

Good luck getting dug out of the snow.

Buckeye, With that much snow you could just tell everyone that the Garden RR is running, they just can't see them because they are running in snow tunnels. Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Morning from a Snowless SoCal where it should be getting up around 80* and sunny today, sorry guys just had to throw that in. But we did get awakened by a minor shakey this morning, not even a decent foot massage just a little noise. Hope it doesn't get to warm to fast and cause flood issues with the snow melt. Stay safe and play indoors.

Good morning Coffee Pot!  I'm Alright, Jack (little joke for the Englishers) - I think I just pinched something in my leg a week ago and it hurt for a few minutes, then faded away.  My back was fine that day.  I think everyone gets that every once in a while, but sounds like you have a chronic disability John....  My Dad had surgery on his after he herniated a couple disks years ago and he has had problems on and off.  He started a daily exercise program and it has helped his back a lot too.

Kurt - I am just sick of these windows.  I wish they were Pella or Anderson, that's for sure.

RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

Mornin' Fellas...

Been in the dark since yesterday at 3pm... had severe thunderstorms pass through (for only 15 minutes) but with 60+ mph winds it wiped out a good bit of the power grid. No power at the house till tomorrow morning. So we're at my FiL's for the day!

No train room work today.

I'll check in every now and again...

Oh as for Fife - yeah he's like that in real life. And yes, he lives in an 'Estrogen Enriched Environment', at least his son has wits enough to vacate on a regular basis! Laugh [(-D]

Brutus:

I am trying to avoid surgery at all costs.  That is a road I would like to avoid.  What happened to your Dad is common.  Once they operate, problems are likely to recur.  I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Brent:

Sorry to hear about the electricity.  The weather has been anything but pleasant.   I was hoping to see some progress on your river.  Cool [8D]  Being bedridden, I have not been able to finish my car dealer kitbash.

Afternoon everyone,

I don't have my license yet, just my permit. I hope Chief comes back, that guy had no right to criticize him for the font he uses.

Thanks.  Us fellow ITTS members need to stick together.  Wink [;)]  Speaking of which, Paul the Painter never responded.  Do you have any recommendations for new members?

Hello Colin:

I used to see your posts on the Garden Railways forum.  Do you still post there?  You would post some great pictures from club events.

I believe Chief announed his hiatus prior to the font complainer.

Hey John,

I had surgery in December when I tore my ACL, so I haven't been able to attend any of our clubs events. However, I am going to York for the East Coast Large Scale Train Show from March 28th-29th. I hope to get a lot of pictures there because I have no new pictures.

The surgery went very well, and rehab is getting sooo much easier. I can finally ride a bike and am getting close to being back to normal.

Given your love of the PRR, I don't know if you would ever be considered normal. Wink [;)] (I am a fan too).  Glad to hear that you are on the mend.

Afternoon all!

Nice day today - sunny - maybe 65 degrees later - and then rain possible tonight.

NASCAR this afternoon! Nice sofa time in view here.

Should be lots o' posts from Buckeye today - 20+ inches of snow you need to stay inside!

My sister spoke to our aunt in Akron last night - they have been snowed in. My cousins wife has been stuck at her store for 2 days unable to get home. My cousin is stuck at home unable to rescue his wife - at least that is what he says Wink [;)]

Hope all are well - have a great day today!

Here are a few pictures of the SNOW I have dealt with this weekend.

Don't think we got 20.5 inches but this shows how much accumulated on table on deck.

This is my driveway Saturday evening when I went out to shovel it for the third time.

Driveway Sunday morning after the township had plowed the street during the night.

Path to go take a few more pictures.

AS long a GregM posted snow pics, here are a few of my car. I took these this morning, after cleaning the drive 3 times yesterday.

Spent the last couple of days indoors.  Too cold outside and the weather is kinda ceappy.  Went to the Fort Pitt TCA show this A.M.  Didn't buy anything.  The show looked well attended.

Spent the last few evenings editing another Legacy video.  My most involved attempt yet,  I twill be on adding a TMCC1 engine into the Legacy remote.  Run time is about 7 minutes.  They certainly not getting any shorter like I hoped but this one I think turned out really well.  I'll post it later this evening.

Hope all is well.  Enjoy the daylight!

Fantastic!  You have done a great job with the videos.  Despite the hiccups I am reading about on the OGR forum, I can't wait to get my hands on one.  Thanks again for your work.

We must go recruiting!  And keep an eye out for Paul if he posts again soon.

A good race today - love to see Jr. running well.  And boy, did Tony blister Goodyear again!

That sure is a lot of snow in Ohio... good thing it's warming up here. Off to make supper.

No snow today - just laundry laundry laundry.  Son had saved up for Super Smash Bros Brawl that came out today, so I did take a break and run him out to the store for a few minutes.  Oh, we had the AC running for a while today because it did get warm in the house and needed to cut the humidity, I guess from all the melting snow.  We'll be back to furnace pretty soon, though.  We're watching The Parent Trap (old version) - pretty good!  Oops - there's the buzzer again!  TTYL

Evening all from Snowy Southern Ohio,

It is beautiful out.  Sunny and "warm" and the snow is beautiful, (it has been removed from the roads).  Roads to work this afternoon were clear.  The road crews did a great job whith what they were handed.

Slept quite a bit today.  When I got to bed this morning, I had been up for 26 hours, with the 3 1/2 hour tense drive from Columbus, and 16 hours at work to make things interesting.  Bride had a nice supper ready when I woke up, liver and onions mashed potatoes and broccoli.  Last night shift, hopefully get to do some train layout work while I'm off.  I up the Trainarama on the layout, but I think it looks better without it.  I'll take a few pics before I remove it and the temporary shelf.

Take care and be careful out there.  May God bless

Good evening all,

IIABSDISEI with temps in the 40s and the snow is melting.  We are supposed to be in the 50s sometime this week.  Maybe winter will leave us alone.  I had a nice breakfast of pancakes and sausage today.  I finished the main building on the Lego project.  I helped Lucas with an English paper.  I also watched some of the NASCAR race and got my hair cut.  The "saucy wench" in the kitchen is also a pretty good barber.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

EVENING ALL,

Another day gone. We had bright sun and 30, expecting warmer temps. during the week. The little train show was thumbs down today, a lot of empty tables. Maybe some went and set up in Toledo because the weather here was not an issue. I spent the afternoon watching tv,after my little nap of course. Saw the last  10 laps of the race which is about average time for me and that event. Watching cars go round and round is not my thing but for those that do,ok with me. Come to think of it thats what our trains do. but thats different somehow. I think.

Brutus,Doug,Kurt, we are down to banilla and peach but there is enough so come on in...S.J.

On the way, Sir James!  Our furnace finally kicked on.  Only 2 more loads of laundry to go, too.   Tom - that was a LOT of snow on your car!
