Back to the grind tomorrow. The weekends really go by too quickly.

This always happens near the end of the winter and the start of spring. Everyone is busy and forgets to make time for the diner. I will try to stop by every day and liven things up.
Lets see- how could I rouse up some trouble without getting anyone mad. Oh yeah everyones favorite topic, What is your favorite railroad?
Mine is probably Union Pacific out of the Class 1 railroads.
Have fun!!

Good Monday morning, everyone! Sure do hope that everyone had a good weekend, and is ready to get back into the swing of things.
Looks like others are sleeping in this morning, like I did. Didn't wake up until 7 or a little after. Just felt too comfortable under the comforter!
Mutt says that he hopes the kitty is wearing her snowshoes, in the correct direction, and isn't ready to kick anyone!
On the warmer bar, you'll find: bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, hash browns, scrambled eggs, oatmeal & toast.

Typical cat pose - "You woke me up why?"
I took a ride through Redfield, NY, Saturday. They still have plenty of snow.... I expect you'll be able to find some there well through May.

My knowledge of the German Language is not very good at all, but doesn't that
mean: "Fried Chicken"?!?!
Guess Datafever will have to enlighten us as to the meaning.
I went searching the web for fleischkuekle and was slightly amazed to discover that it is rather unique to North Dakota (having come from Germany, of course). There are restaurants in ND that have it on the menu.
It is a meat pie (usually made from hamburger with various seasonings). Just take bread dough, flatten it, add the meat filler which gets sealed in the dough, and deep fry it. Rather easy to make.
Nebraska Runzas (TM)....... Only we bake ours. They are meat, onion and cabbage all cooked and put on a flat square of bread, then folded and sealed and baked and comes out like a very small loaf of bread.....to die for - and if you can't tolerate cabbage - you will. But they are sooooooo gooooood.....
LM - still looking for the snowshoes.....(and the chicken)
Moo...
Mookie, haven't seen or heard from Tree today. He must be very busy.
DF, you suggestion is on the menu for tonight, along with fried chicken, mashed taters & milk gravy, corn on the cob, peas & carrots and dessert tonight: regular desserts of cakes, pies and cobblers are available.
Mookie, Willy, heck whomever wants to see it-
This picture was before the last one!
This picture is of KC (Kitty Cat)
This picture is of Ace, who's 21!

Hanging onto a fence post in this wind. Light snow, so much the easier to blow around. Currently seeing 20+ mph....
Have been a little busy here at work....
But it's time to head for home...
