Thats ok Slick, I have a nephew who moved to Boston, he still hasnt figured out snow and it uses!

Wow. So many more people have introduced themselves since I last checked this thread. Big welcome to all!

I'm in southeast Wisconsin—kinda convenient, working in Waukesha and all—and actually wishing it would get a little bit colder, but only on Packer game days. (I keep hoping that Brett and the guys will start playing better again when the Frozen Tundra returns to Green Bay.)

And to those in Texax... well, enjoy the warm weather. If all goes well, I hope to be visiting Fort Worth in mid- to late-April.

As soon as I can think of something good to say about Fort Worth, other than its near Dallas, and the land is really, really flat, I will let you know.

Thanks for the welcome, even if I will be in Fort Worth. I do expect to spend time in Dallas, too, if that helps. Either way, I've never been to Texas, so I'm looking forward to that very much. And I would like to visit Houston once Metro gets up and running. I've been following its progress (and periodic lack thereof) for a few years now—including the groundbreaking cancellation, then delay. I've also talked with and met Shirley DeLibero; she's a fantastic person. Very knowledgeable and dynamic. If anyone can get this done, she can.

I know the Packers are playing super-poopy so far this year. But I was born in 1967—the last time they were truly awesome until the late 1990s—so I have to hope I'll see that kind of team again in my lifetime. Kenosha County, huh? I was wondering where Somers was. You should come up for a visit sometime.
