You've never heard me speak or seen me. Only a deaf and blind (and not too bright) INS agent would give me more than a passing glance. At one time I spoke a little (a VERY little) Spanish, and one of my listeners (victims?) told me I was the only person she had ever heard drawl in Spanish.

Included knowlege of the Green Frog, Plant Hatch, The Southeastern Corridor, and mabe a thing or two about a great big swamp. I also know some Odoms from that part of the country

I always think a little "difference of opinion" is good for a forum. I like a good dig as well as the next person. Just as long as you don't draw blood.

But along with finding out where St Catharines is - I found out that Canada is a lot closer than I ever imagined! I never had any reason to look there until I joined the forum and found out people exist west of the Missouri river! Sorry for the diversion, but not really - it was fun exploring!

I just started reading this thread, and on the first page, I was like "Oh my god, four pages of this *rap?", yet I still felt compelled to post, so I skipped to the end and Mookies typing St. Catherine's who? Amazing !!! Anyway, I backup and get it now.

I suspect that what had a good part in prompting this "discussion" [:-,] , was a recent thread about compound locomotives on the N&W, where Old Fart, er Old Timer and Big UP something or other were totaly ripping each other with total abandon. While this was happening, I felt a need to step in with a few calming words when it occured to me these two were simply testing their knowledge of excreme decor complimentation, and were in fact greatly enjoying themselves, at which point I realized the things they were saying to each other could be construed as humorous.

Generally, if you ask questions that are relevent and intelligent, you should get decent answers and dignified responses. And, if you are an *** and insist on it, somebody is sure to step up.

That's my opinion, and I do have a sphincter.
