Canadian Pizza?  I thought the most authentic Canadian food was pea soup.

Or poutine.

I believe the menu said Canadian Bacon on pizza, not "Canadian Pizza".Smile, Wink & Grin

[I think pea soup generally refers to the fog there.]

Don't forget to "Spring Forward" tonight and set the clocks ahead an hour.

And as Larry and others have said, check/change batteries in smoke detectors and CO detectors!!

Hmmm... Methinks I'm in the mood for a "Shakey's 'Public House Special'" tonight.

Back when Shakey's was a going concern, one of their offerings was the "Public House Special."  Nothing really out of the ordinary - just pepperoni, green peppers, and onions.  That was also before everyone was doing the big, thick crust that seems to be the norm nowadays.

I could eat a medium all by myself...

Not any more.

On the other hand, there's something to be said for the Hawaiian...

Good afternoon all.  Wrist is much, much better today!  Taking it easy yesterday seemed to do the trick, as I hardly did anything at all.  No pain, no aching, and no warmth in the wrist at all.  Can move it any way I want.

Cannonball, hope you have a very good and fast recovery.  You'll be remembered in my prayers, as always.

Our Saturday Night Pizza Fest is now under way, with all the regular list of pizzas:

01.  Anchovie

02.  Canadian bacon

03.  Cheese

04.  Chicago style

05.  Goetta

06.  Ham & green pepper

07.  Hawiian

08.  Italian sausage

09. Pepperoni/mushroom

10.  Supreme

Everyone take care, have a good evening, keep safe and see you all again soon.

Tree: Heads Up! - Looks like I'll be in your backyard in mid-October teaching in 4 places in 5 days. Looking at the paperwork today that just arrived.

Keep me posted, off-line as appropriate.  That's about the time we're down to a few weekend runs, so I might just be able to get together with you.  If you're close enough on Friday, maybe you can hang on through Saturday and I'll introduce you to at least some of our line!

Smile C.W. prayers be coming your way at church Sunday for wrist and general health. I had surgery for "sun cancer" on forehead. Friday. Knife & fork work done and tests done , and positive cancer gone.  Scales on both ears were blown off with freezy stuff  like from a fire bottle. So now on  controled substance for pain( tylenol / codene) 10 pills no refills.  Stitches come out on Fri. Other than that  I am fine, and Doc said to watch trains in FLG or PHX. as per prescription. Good after care me thinks.

Snowing here - started late and now we are trying to figure out how much. Weather liars are predicting 8-22 inches, depending on who you listen to. This is 'blue snow", the wet stuff.

Peace be with you. 35 and clear in Carolina this morning, headed for 64. Paula, please take care of yourself. You are special to us.

The school/peyton place drama continues unabated. One teacher charged with 90+ counts of sexual battery on students, a cafeteria worker got busted with a 13 year old and a coach and a computer science teacher were fired for inappropriate behavior, and this was just in the last week! Our society is coming apart at the seams.

I found a program that lets  me download youtube videos and have been saving vintage movies and history documentaries. Needless to say, that can be a full time operation. At least it gives me something to do to keep busy, but it fills up a terrabyte hard drive really quickly.

Everyone take care and stay warm

Tom

bookfair went quite well today.even had time to have lunch with Matt before we packed it up.People don't realize how much our PTO does for the school

Some of us realize, Joe.  I used to be a school board member.  The PTO and the parents' athletic association did a lot for our schools.  A lot was extra stuff the board really couldn't justify raising taxes for but a lot was also stuff that the board would have had to do and effectively lowered school taxes.  And teachers themselves do free things that are never recognized.  My wife was an art teacher in an inner city school.  She wound up taking a whole bunch of our own childrens' winter coats to school because children in her class didn't have warm clothing.

Hello everyone.  Beautiful sunshine here this morning in Shepherdsville.  Temp is already in the mid to upper 30s, supposed to reach a high in the low 50s this afternoon.

My niece came to take me shopping with her yesterday morning.  As I was going to get my coat, tripped somehow, hit my head on the chair bottom (good wood); had quite a headache; discovered later, after we left and got back home, that my right wrist was a tad bit swollen.  It is swollen more this morning, and feels warm.  Guess when my sil gets home from work, I'll see if she can take me either to the immediate care center, or just to grocery store, and pick up an Ace wrist bandage to wrap around my wrist.  At least I don't have much to do today, as I'd have a semi hard time doing anything substantial.  Typing isn't too hard, as I can keep my hand somewhat in one position, and not hurt while I type.

Mookie, anywhere you are, is a happy place to be.  Lincoln should consider themselves lucky that you live there!

Everyone take care, have a good day, and see you all later.

Azko Noble Polymers, they “blow you up real good”!

Normal Tuesday, contract worker A closes valve, walks away.

Contract worker B opens same valve minutes later, walks away….plant goes boom.

Plastic burns quite well, lots of thick black smelly smoke.

Joe - I will prepare the list.  I love lists!  I could do the book fair, except I would probably want to sit and read the books.

Organize the house?  Into a storage unit?

Didn't find the DEEX - so sent some odd ones to you.  And an empty car hauler train to St Joe.  (that's another Joe!)

Good Thursday morning all.  Beginning to feel somewhat better now; although, still no word on who murdered my friend, then set her house afire.  Taking one day at a time, and trying to keep myself and my mind busy on other things. Thanks for the well wishes, you all.  They mean a lot.  Everyone have a good day, keep warm and take care.

The Countdown begins:  13 days until spring!!  That's what my sil and I heard on the news awhile ago.

No Joe!  If it is Friday then that means I have to go back to the dreaded grocery store - a chore I hate - sooner.  I am going to make it Wednesday - just to give me longer.  Shy (wonder how Thursday is going to fit in this week)

I suggest you protect the cone.  Dogs like to lick their wounds and can do it for a long time after the surgery.

Nigel (10 year old Scottie) is home wearing a vet's conical funnel collar after minor surgery at the vet. The anesthesia has not quite worn off yet. Think he now ought to be named "crash".

The encounters with the dog door are a hoot. Don't expect the vet collar to last the week.

All the stoners and weed afficianados around here had the expected effect on the statistics. The brain-dead have no senses left. Kinda skews the numbers downward.Embarrassed

Yeah, much better to just have all the drunks out driving and abusing their wives and children and missing work and getting sick and throwing up......yup, much better.

See, I can generalize as well as the next...
