Good Tuesday morning everyone.  Very chilly this morning, with a temp of 51 degrees outside.  Morning low is supposed to get down to about 46, 47 degrees.  May see a high of 58 today, but with mostly cloudy skies.

Coffee, juices and regular breakfast menu are fresh, ready and on the serving station.

If today is Primary Election Day in your area, please remember to Get Out and Vote.  If you don't vote, you have no right to complain, when things don't go your way.

My first peek at the instrument earlier this morning as it showed our temp to be 45....and damp.  Way below normal.  But, that's been typical for a while now.  {exception being, the low 90s a few last week}.

But I'm sure {again}, it will turn very warm soon, and perhaps over one or so days.

I'm hoping for the ground / grass to dry out some by this afternoon to get in another mowing, but looking at the regional radar, it shows the big "Low", south east of us and moisture is wrapping around the top of it from the Atlantic, and bringing it around to possibly reach us later today.

Humming birds are active at our feeder...{Some since May 1st.}, but this weather is much too cool for them.

Several appointments today....One helping neighbor get to hair dressers and eye exam. for Jean.  So...the day is under way.

Very chilly this morning

You got that right! I had to get up in the middle of the night to close some windows as the temp. had dropped to 35°.Surprise It is back up to 57° now, with some clouds.

I'm not feeling great today so I am going to lie down.

Good evening. 64 and overcast in Carolina. Not much to report. I Just heard thunder. Not a whole lot to report.  I don't feel good at all and have spent most of the day lying down, and probably heading that way again. Everyone take care

Bruce, hope you start to feel better.  And btw, you're not by yourself in the not feeling good department:  my tum-tum has been acting up all afternoon.  Haven't really done anything since I got home from Produce this morning, except fix my breakfast (bowl of oatmeal and a couple pieces of toast), lied down, and after getting back up, is when I discovered I wasn't feeling too well.  But must tread on, right?

Quentin, with the low in the Carolinas, turning counter-clockwise, our temp didn 't get as high as they figured:  maybe 55, 56 degrees, and a little bit of rain/drizzle has come in, and temps have dropped down to 51, 52 at current time.  Tomorrow morning, our temp is supposed to be down to about the mid 40s, I believe I heard awhile ago on the weather report.

Here is tonight's menu:

1.  Sloppy Joes w/your choice of fries, pretzel sticks or tater chips and a fresh garden salad

2.  Grilled chicken *** w/above sides choices

Everyone have a good evening, take care, and stay dry, if you can.

....Well, it's been cool, damp, light rain at times all day.  So, no mowing today.  We'll look for that bit of dryness tomorrow.

About 56 degrees right now as it is just about dark.

Good Wednesday morning everyone.  Drizzly with a temp of 52 degrees here in Louisville this morning.  Think the high will be about 62.  But the drizzling rain will be around most of the day.

Coffee, juices and other morning beverages are fresh and ready to go.  Breakfast is on the serving station.

You'll also notice a couple of Crock Pots/Slow Cookers on the counter.  Inside them, you will find roast, taters, carrots for lunch/supper.  This is therapy day, so that is why I'm already listing the lunch/supper menu.  And tonight, we're going out to dinner to finally celebrate my birthday.  Going to Crackle Barrel.

So everyone have a good day, stay dry if you're in the 'rain belt' take care and see ya.

....Same story.  Overcast...damp....very wet grass....and earlier 52 degrees, and possible rain sometime today.

Seems we're getting into long lasting weather patterns this Spring.  Hopefully, we'll soon turn to the Sun's turn of being the major player for a while.

Good morning everyone.

Feeling much better today, and it seems like it is going to be a good day to catch up on the things I haven't got done the last couple of days. 54° now with a high of 63° forecast. It only dropped into the low forties last night and did that extra 6 or 8 degrees warmer ever make a difference in how the apartment felt compared to yesterday morning. It just makes you fell better right from the get-go.

That controlled flood I mentioned worked better than planned and now the Assiniboine River is starting to drop back into its' banks. I guess I'm no flood expert, I thought that was going to be a terrible mess.

Everyone have a good day.

Good Thursday morning everyone.  Foggy and 55 degrees in Louisville this morning.  Our high today is to be about 76 degrees with sunshine!  That sure will be nice for a change.

Joe, didn't do any of the puzzles last night, but we did have a very good time.  Walt and I both had chicken livers.  Sarah had haddock, and she raved about how good it was.  The chicken livers were really good too, but as always, they kind of talked back to me all night long.  For dessert, I got peach cobbler w/ice cream.

Coffee, juices and other morning beverages are fresh and ready to go.  Breakfast is on the serving station.

Everyone have a good morning, take care and I'll see you all later.

Wet here, again, today. The morning lows have been in the forties and the highs in the fifties since Saturday, and tomorrow is expected to be the same.

Paula, did those chicken livers actually sass you? I don't think any ever talked back to me, but it has been many, many, years since I ate any. There was a time, when I was in high school, that I ate the liver, the gizzard, and the heart when we had chicken, but such no longer appeal to me. Calf liver is different, but I have to be careful not to overcook it lest it be tough.

peach cobbler w/ice cream--Yum!

Johnny, you know the cl don't actually talk back, it just seems that they do, when you get indigestion after you eat them.  I've always heard people say, after they got indigestion from something they had eaten, "That such and such is talking back to me."(I know one or two people here on the trains forum will say to themselves, "she's really showing what a country hick hillbilly she is.)Smile, Wink & Grin

For supper tonight, you have your choice of the following:

1.  Sloppy Joes w/fries and salad

2.  Grilled chicken *** w/mashed taters, salad, and your choice of broccoli or brussels sprouts, corn, mac & cheese and applesauce

3.  Grilled pork chops w/baked tater, salad and choice of any of the other veggies listed in #2

Everyone take care and have a good afternoon/evening.

Good Friday morning everyone.  Tom, thanks so much for opening up this morning.  Looks like you've got a very nice breakfast on the serving station for us, too! Tom, how are you doing?  Hope you're feeling much better.

I guess Trapper the Cat couldn't wake up Papa Walt this morning:  he woke me up about 6:12.  Kind of glad he did, as a was on my stomach, and have a terrific back ache this morning.  Hope when I go to Therapy this afternoon, it will be better.  Otherwise, not too sure how I will be doing while at Therapy!  Ride will be here about 12:10 to pick me up.

Nice and pleasant this morning, with the sun coming out, clouds clearing and 61 degrees outside.  Everyone have a beautiful morning, and I'll see you all again, before I go for my appointment.

It looks like  our weather is vastly improving for today too.  Mid 60's now, and climbing.  Bright sunshine and calm.

It's been a while since we've had a day without the threat of rain.

Morning all! Thanks for breakfast!Dinner

Well, today is the last Friday here at school. We get out next Thursday. It has been a good and productive school year.

I’m getting a new scanner antenna this weekend. Hopefully, I can pick up railroad radio frequencies better.

Have a good weekend all!

...Saturday morning....and it's pretty nice.  Several things to get accomplished late this morning and before the forecast rain for this afternoon.  Our pup needs a nail trim, and so does our yard.  That's the adgenda.

Nice temps this morning.  Sunshine as well.  Looks like we'll get to the low 80's but with pretty high humidity too.

Must keep after the yard about every 3 days or it gets ahead of me.

I note we have a NBA playoff game this evening, as well as some Nascar activity.  Nascar program will be on "Speed" channel.  7pm.

This week we'll fine tune our travel automobile like making sure all windows are clean, in and out....tire pressures, and everything in order for our normal run out east to the home area for the big Memorial Day long weekend.  Service of vehicle is all in order.

Signs of less {possible}, traffic was noted in making reservations at our hotel in the home area, and waiting later this year to do so....No problem in getting a room....That's not the way it usually is.

Gorgeous day here (and yesterday afternoon turned out pretty good, too - I got the lawn mowed).  Too bad I have some inside stuff that simply has to get done.

Still, the windows are open, letting in the fresh air!

Our temp is in the 80s (not sure of exact temp right now), and it is very overcast:  hearing little rumbles of thunder, and breeze is picking up.

Here is our abbreviated Saturday Night Pizza menu for tonight:

1.  Cheese

2.  Pepperoni/mushroom

3.  Hawaiian

4.  Supreme

Three of each kind.  Since hardly anyone is coming in, decided not to do the whole pizza menu.

Everyone enjoy your pizza, have a good evening and take care.
