Wow - quite the makeover.  Doesn't appear that it'll be much different to navigate, though.

Easy repairs to a toilet turned into a purchase when I found cracks in the tank.  Waiting for the new one to be delivered so I can finish the job.  Turns out that the "rough-in" is 10" vs the usual 12", so the toilet had to be special ordered.

Sheesh.

I've been gone for roughly 3 months, and this site sure looks different, although I am pleased with it.

Hi there everyone.  Looks like we're back up on track and rolling along!  Hope you all enjoyed our time away from here.  Still don't know any more on my condition.  Maybe Doc is waiting until I go see him Friday the 3rd.  Right now, I just know that I'm feeling better.  I haven't had any pain medicine for a week and a half.  Maybe that is what caused all the pain.

I've fixed a litle bit of our Mexican Fiesta and it is on the serving station.  (Here at home in Louisville, Walt and I will be having grilled boneless skinless chicken breasts for supper.  I'll also have a little bit of white shoepeg corn, and mashed taters.

Sarah's on a train, heading towards Cincinnati.  She should be home sometime tomorrow, afternoon, early evening I guess.

So, how's everyone doing?  All right, I hope.

We are currently at 87 degrees, with partly cloudy weather conditions.  Very muggy outside.  We could really feel the mugginess this morning, during Produce.  We even had a second truck today, one with bread, doughnuts, and danish!

Everyone have a good afternoon, and you all take care.

Well, welcome back. We are open for business again with the usual fare on the bars. It is good to be back, I needed the fix.... The new look will take some getting used to, but we will survive

....I didn't expect to see this forum still up and running this time of the morning.  Expect it will soon be down for the "changes".

Another warm day starting here.....72 much earlier for our start, and that probably ='s 90 plus by this afternoon.

I hope when this site returns, I'll be able to figure it out to continue.

Everyone, have a good week.  As I've indicated before, we're not all accomplished "Geeks".

Now I just need to find a new place to lurk.

Take care, everyone!

Good Sunday afternoon everyone.  Well, woke up this morning to not having internet access.  Aparently, there was some problem in the line somewhere.  By just after 4 p.m., we had access again.  At least this time, it wasn't a virus messing things up for us!!

Larry, we have a triathlon going on here in Louisville today.  It started at 7 a.m. this morning, with the swim in the Ohio.  To the best of my knowledge, it is still going on.

Everyone take care, and guess we'll see you all maybe Tuesday evening?

Ed - Congrats!  Grandchildren are fun!

Worked a triathlon this morning on the EMS mountain bike.  The first portion involved both swimmers (600 meters) and kayakers (3 miles), so there were two venues to watch (although I stayed ashore).  Then the cyclists took off for their 18 mile trek.  I stayed back and waited for them to return.  Then they took off running on a 5K course, which we did monitor by riding the route.

I have no idea who won, but he must have been flying.  I think he finished the run portion before a lot of the participants got back from the bike section.

Got the lawn mowed, too.  Now back to preps for Mom's arrival.

Beautiful morning.....earlier, 70 degrees, perhaps to hit around 90 this afternoon.  Very, very dry.  Need rain, but no chance yet for several days, and then, just a chance.

Good morning from Des Plaines, Illinois, where we spent the night after attending a wedding yesterday.

Just checking in to also pass along congrats to Ed, although I haven't seen the article yet.  It's probably sitting in my mailbox waiting for me (I hope).

Good morning all!

Joe: They have been dumping ties along the Lafayette District as well. They have cut off gondolas in the MOW siding in Attica.

CW: Thanks! Ive been working real hard on my photogrophy!! I Appreciate that very much!

Church and then to Attica for some rail fanning later with Dad. If, I can get him to take me…

Sure is a pretty morning, but supposed to be hot and humid later.

Good morning, it's Sunday. 70 and clear in Carolina this lovely day. Tomorrow and Tuesday, the diner will be closed whilst the powers that be repair the road that we are on!

Breakfast is on the bar and soft drinks and juices are at the fountain. Enjoy

Congrats to the Blysards on the new arrival. Always a treasure.

I will be changing my ISP sometime this coming week, so may not be available until I can get that sorted out. Hopefully, it won't take too long

Everyone take care

Tom

You know it's been a nice week when you have left the truck shut off overnight all week......

About 60 here in Mauston, WI, to dip slightly lower tonight, then up to 90 for tomorrow, low humidity helping.  Just have not had time or wi-fi access to come in this past week....

Off to the headquarters of Menard's tomorrow, they are out of Rubbermaid products again......

There ice cream and some dessert pizzas (apple, cherry, peach, raspberry, strawberry) for dessert tonight.

Everyone enjoy, have a great evening, and you all take care.

.....Weather is just about perfect here today...{of course, we know it's way too dry}, but beautiful clear blue sky, which means low humidity, with comfortable temps.  More of the same expected for next several days.

Good Saturday morning everyone.  Especially to Mookie and Bob, who are already here!  We went out last night, first time I've been out for over a week, at least.  Went to Walmart, then stopped at Texas Roadhouse to bring supper home.  Then, we watched a movie:  The DaVinci Code.  Interesting movie, that is all I'll say.

So you all won't have to march around the tables, I've got breakfast on the serving station, and you can walk around it to fill your plates.  You'll find a nice assortment of Saturday Brunch available:  everything from pancakes, waffles, biscuits/gravy, country fried ham, grits, oatmeal, to fresh fruits.

Hope everyone has a great day, keep safe and take care.  See you all later this evening, for our pizza fest.

Since I don't think anything fried would help me right now, I decided to gril the fish tonight.  The fish have been taken off the grill and are now on the serving station, keeping nice and warm.

Side dishes tonight:  mac & cheese, fries, hush puppies, breaded fried mushrooms, cornbread, corn on the cob and baked beans for you all.

Everyone enjoy, have a good evening and take care.
