Make mine a Manhattan. How many Manhattans could the average politician drink between 30th Street and Manhattan Transfer before electrification sped up travel time?

Troops of 82nd Airborne Division do Afghan War Zone Re-Make of Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’ Video - If your sense of humor is as "warp" as mine is, you too will find that this is just too funny . . . God bless these guys, who can still find - and make - some things to laugh at. http://chattahbox.com/entertainment/2010/05/01/afghan-war-zone-remak-of-lady-gagas-telephone-goes-viral/comment-page-1/#comment-42080

Eleanor went to the front lines to visit with the troops. I met one old marine who was not happy to see her in the West Pacific.

WOW!

One could not help having nothing but admiration for Spec. Brendan Marrocco, and what he has accomplished.  God Bless Him, and his family.

What a story on this Independence Day!

Thanks for sharing it.

It's a known fact that Eleanor Roosevelt had town named after her. What's weird is it is located just a couple (2) of miles from the (supposedly) UFO landing in 1965 (Kecksburg). The name of the town BTW is Norvelt, Pa. Just another little piece of trivia for here. I'm sure she would have approved the landing. There is still standing a tressle bridge used by streetcars in the heyday of said lightrail transportation just outside of Norvelt.

Were the aliens looking for Eleanor, or a trolley ride?

Politics was a good way for Franklin to get out of returning home every night. Had he lacked the necessary skills, perhaps attaining the rank of Engineer, or Conductor would have provided Franklin's profession of escape.

Eleanor Roosevelt doesn't care if there are horns or no horns used at grade crossings.

Just as long as there are trains!!!!!!!!

When Winston told Franklin the Royal Navy served rum to its seamen, Franklin responded, "We've got cold beer for our boys."

Would Eleanor serve carp to her troops?
