Now Old Dan Tucker come to town Ridin' a billy goat, leadin' a hound The hound dog barked, and billy goat jumped And landed old Tucker on a stump!

Now, if we had music notes available, we could add them to the posts and then we could all sing about poor Old Dan Tucker.

Murphy Siding The railroad version of Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus: We're driving down a highway that parallels the BNSF line accross northern S.D. My wife is driving, I am in the passenger seat. As is the rule when we drive together, whoever has the steering wheel in front of them gets to drive, and whoever doesn't, gets to shut up about the driving. We catch up with a westbound empty coal train that had a DP unit on the back. As we are even with the back end of the train, Mrs. Murphy rolls down her window and waves at the locomotive. "That's strange" she says, "they usually wave back". So, I explain about distributed power, and how the unit is controlled remotely from the front end of the train, etc.... "Oh", she replies. Then, she rolles down the window again, and honks the horn like crazy, waving at the empty locomotive. "That engineer sure seems stuck up today" she says, to no one in particular. Off we go down the highway, oblivious. Lucky for us, the engineer at the front end of the train was in a waving mood.

A blonde calls her husband at work one day and asks him, "Can you help me when you get home?""Sure," he replies. "What's the problem?""Well, I started a really hard puzzle and I can't even find the edge pieces." "Look on the box," he said. "There's always a picture of what the puzzle is." "It's a big rooster," she said. The husband arrives home and tells his blonde wife, "Okay, put the corn flakes back in the box."

Phoebe Vet Murphy Siding Ladies and Gentlemen, Hobos and Tramps, Cross-eyed mosquitoes and bowlegged ants. I now stand before you, and halfway behind you, to tell you a story I know nothing about. Last night, at 6 o'clock this morning, and empty train loaded with bricks came up the back alley in front of my house. I ran outside, just in time to see King Arthur, sitting at the third side of a round table, eating vinegar with a fork. If you don't believe my lie, it's true, ask the blind lady on the corner, she saw it too. Too bad it was foggy. Does the Peyote Cactus actually grow in the Dakotas, or do you have to import the buttons?
