Today is the 50th anniversary of the death of General MacArthur.  Video shows his funeral train at Washington Union Station.

My deleted thread was a computer memory transfer of the summary story on the Jerusalem Post website about the 99th anniversary of the USA Naval Reserve,  complete with the Naval Reservfe Seal.   I found it interesting that the JP would believe its readers highly interested in this story.  I did not include anything else that is not available on Wikepedia, however.

Eleanor Roosevelt  - The Arc of Her Journey.    An intimate review of Eleanor's journey reveals the stories of a broken childhood to living a life that dared to challenge injustice and shake the status quo of society.  For visionary people who ask, "Who am I?" and "Why am I here?" Eleanor's story challenges us on how to answer.
