......Do we see much storm and deep snow headed for Nebraska....Looks like Jen might be spared from the brunt of it but center state and the western part look to be right in line....

Believe we're {central Indiana}, going to luck out as this system appears to be headed more north than east presently and hopefully that takes it up and over the top of us....Even what moisture might be upcoming to us most likely will be rain with the forecast temps.

Frosty here this morning...{even now at 9:45}, and still just 29 degrees but headed to moderate temps this afternoon.  Partly sunny too.

Good Wednesday morning to all!  Slept in this morning:  just woke up at 7:30, so thank you, Ray, for getting the coffee, juice and tea ready.

You all will find all the regular breakfast menu items on the warmer bar, in just a few minutes.  I'm cooking as fast as I can.

Joe, don't worry:  I've got plenty of Christmas cookies.  When I made them up the other day, I put quite a few pans in the walk-in freezer, so we just have to put them in the oven, and then frost and decorate.  We'll have plenty again by lunchtime.

Glad everyone enjoyed the dinner/supper last night.  If anyone has any requests for today's lunch and supper menus, please let me know, and I'll fix it.

Good morning everyone! The orange juice is ready to pour, and I've gotten the hot chocolate out and the coffee is brewing.

We've got a temperature of 37 degrees here in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, I don't think it will get much warmer than that this morning, and we have a threat of some freezing rain for later this afternoon.

My part-time employer served all his employees a prime rib dinner for lunch yesterday afternoon.........he does this every year at Christmas time and man!!, was it ever good!! You can hardly get a better cut of meat anywhere in Sioux Falls. I wish I had been able to take more of it home with me.

I hope everyone has a good day!

All righty, we have several requests for supper tonight:  burgers, brats, boneless chicken breasts w/mashed taters and corn, chili and beef stew w/cornbread.  Everything is ready, and on the warmer bar, so help yourselves.

Joe, there's several containers w/your name on them, for you to pick up on your way to work.

Yes mookie she found me at produce! Big Smile [:D] lol I haven't been in here for quite a while, I've been very busy over the holidays Thanksgiving and now Christmas.

Well nothing too exciting is happening with me, I'm just sitting here waiting and hoping to have a White Christmas this year, then I can go out snowboarding.

Oh I forgot to mention I'm heading back to Philadelphia for Christmas, my mother was kind enough to buy the tickets for me, I think she was going to do that anyway.

Tree I feel your pain about the OS disc, I've done plenty of change overs before and they can be a pain. I think you should of waited until January 2007 Microsoft is going to come out with the new VISTA OS.

Lunch is now on the warmer bar, and if anyone on the west coast comes in, I'll be more than happy to fix you breakfast instead.

Everyone enjoy whatever meal you have in here today!  Or just come in for some dessert:

Christmas cookies, brownies, pecan pie, mince meat bars, and chocolate cake and white cake with white frosting.

Nah - pastry, usually with a little cinnamon in the filling.  Delish warmed briefly on the grill...

Only one thing though: I don't drink alcoholic beverages of any kind. I did drink a big mug of hot decaffeinated coffee after I came back from the walk, though.

Home computer on the fritz, new operating system CD had a bad file, so I have to wait until Wednesday to get another copy from the office supply store.  Monday is regular day off, so back in office today, finally.

Long day Saturday.  Served breakfast at fire hall in AM (in at 6am to start preps), ran down to Utica and rode "Polar Express," arrived back home at 12:30 am.  Fought with computer some on Sunday, but mostly lounged around.  I was pooped!

Our "Polar Express" was an unqualified success - well over 7,000 riders over the course of the run.

Bear  Claw and some tea for me, SVP.

He's probably like me at home lately, busier than when my kids were in high school.  Luckily for me, my work has been more relaxed lately, so I have some time to surf during the day.

Good Tuesday morning to all!  Quite a bit cooler here in Louisville, this morning:  44 degrees out right now.

I have PLENTY of coffee, hot tea, and hot chocolate going this morning.  And on the warmer bar you'll find:

turkey bacon, sausage, homemade buttermilk biscuits, sausage gravy, oatmeal, toast, bagels, pancakes and whole wheat pancakes.

I also have on the industrial range/stove top:  beef stew, New England clam chowder, chili, and beef vegetable soup, that will be ready to eat by lunchtime for everyone.
