Dan, if you want any lunch today, you'd BETTER come down from the ceiling!!  On the lunch menu today:

Fried chicken w/mashed taters and milk gravy, home fries, green beans and carrots

Clam chowder, and whatever else it was SactoGuy requested.  (My memory's not too good this morning.)

Desserts today:  chocolate cake, chocolate pie, and fried apple half-moon pies.

Does anyone have any requests for supper tonight?  If so, please let me know by 2 p.m. EST.  Thank you!

One of these days the owner is going to show up and tell you to take it out back-all the way out to the back 40.

I'll bring my detergent and scrubbie to help clean up...even if I was the target!

If nobody has suggested anything for supper...how about some steaks and twice baked potatoes?

Jay, you've got that right:  this cook is NOT cleaning up any paintball messes!!  The ones who make the mess is entirely responsible for cleaning up after themselves.  And if our illustrious owner finds out, he'd probably close the DD/CS down, PERMENENTLY!!

Unless I missed something, it would appear that the cook was so upset at the paintball mess that she left without making any dinner at all.  Sad [:(]  (And I really was looking forward to some pork chops).

Now that I think about it, it would probably be a good idea to give "you know who" a bath too.  (I just want to make sure that I am far away when that happens though).

Careful...don't make her mad!  I'll make a late evening snack.  We've got:
-cheddar cheese,
-summer sausage,
-ritz crackers,
-cauliflower,
-baby carrots,
-dill and ranch dip,
-lemon bars,
-fudge brownies,
-baby shrimp dip,
-and a couple flavors of chips for snacking.

Beverages are cold in the fridge.

Now that my feet are clean again, I'll take a few of the first three items, followed by a couple of those brownies.

Fun day, eh Dan?  I'm still dead tired, though.  Time for bed here.Zzz [zzz]

Yeah...fun day.  I found out that I'm one class away from being finished with academia at UWO!  3 out of 4 classes at the 400 level are "A's".  Fourth is up in the air until Friday.

Datafever, sorry about that.  I must have overlooked your request for pork chops.  I'll make them later in the week:  I have a special request for one of our birthday people.

Sorry for my part in dirtying up the DDCS.  I hope that my 'cracker barrel' snack-fest is ok by ya.

Anyway, now for the important news:  Twenty-seven years ago today, on Dec 12, 1979...

Wait for it.........

I was born.

Place looks good, will be in later for some stuff..  Hope CW found the recipie for tonight's dinner.  Can't remember if it was a Betty Crocker recipie or on one of mom's index cards.
