Had to be shot full of novicane once though when something got underneath my sealant on my back teeth. Didn't use enough of the stuff and it hurt like....well....never mind. He even injected more half way through and it still didn't do anything, gol that was awuful.

Nothing to report here on the train sector. Not a train for 35 miles in the past day and a half. My mom and Dad are looking into buying a new car, an '05 Ford foucus. We, well my parents, test drove it this morning, test rode in it. It's pretty nice.

You Sir,are very lucky!
Hope you never have to go through that again.

than I really care to remember.

Hope new car does okay.

Extremely lucky. With all the root canal work and crowns I have had in my time it is amazing I can't bring in Radio Free Europe on some of them...

I say, in honor of The 4th of July, we have BBQ BabyBack Ribs, with baked cinnimon apples, WITH the corn on the cob![:p]

And, who can't forget the hamburgers, piled high with cheese (American of course), tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, bacon, and anything else that goes on a hamburger!

Could it be little bitty Matt, or JIM?!?!

Larry: Do you have the grill started yet? We need to get things rolling along here.
Got some baked beans ready to heat up. And we CANNOT forget the prerequisite
corn on the cob for our country's birthday celebration!

Workin' graveyards, I'll have hot joe goin' by the time you're all up and around. Proud to do it.
Every one have a safe and fun 4th, my town is having it's fireworks tonight, so instead of riding 31 miles on a pizza train, I get to direct traffic and try to keep people from imolating themselves and family members while balancing their 23rd beer in one hand and using the other to light just one of the 14 Atomic Flowering Death Blossoms grasped in the other. Just who does translate English into Chinese for the fireworks companies, anyway? "Prace on glound, right, and free for your rife"Just what DOES that mean?

Jeaton,

What was the thread? Would like to view that thread. And yes, let's put out an open
invite to the Diner thread.

Noah, you know I've had a bad tooth. I was NOT trying to be insulting or
anything. I should probably buy stock in Orajel!! Or buy the stuff by the
case[:)][:p]

Howdy all. Take a nice slice of pecan pie and a tall glass of milk. Another day with not much to do. Saw the local last night. There were hurrying, as the Conductor went on Vacation at one oclock am. He had four hours to go when he was here, which isn't good as it takes four hours to get back to the yard from up here, and they still had a good half an hour to 45 minutes of work left before they could get going. hope he made it in time.

Sorry to be so late today, but we both slept in this morning. I had to go to the library
early this morning, so we did not come to the diner this morning. And locomutt
was watching a program on the History Channel that he didn't want to miss.

Let's see: since it's Friday, I'll have a whitefish sandwich with fries, and do we
have any peach cobbler for dessert? Along with a BIG glass of iced tea, please.

Thanks for the welcome, folks. And you're right, I learned last night not to come in here without a sandwich in hand. I'm gonna have to try some of that stuff, it all sounded great.
As for learning about railroaders, my grandpa was an engineer for NYC(Big Four) and my uncle was an engineer for NYC-PC-CR and VP of his BLE local. I worked for EL just out of high school, but not long enough to be considered a railroad man. I'll be looking forward to see if railroadmen have changed over the past 20 years, and ANY thing I can learn about women, railroad or other, will be greatly appreciated! [:D][:D]
You're right Noah, I think I'll like stopping by here.
