Sorry Mikeygaw, but I didn't remember until locomutt mentioned it just before 10 last
night. I had forgotten about reading about it in Jim Dorsey's "entertainment" column
in yesterday's paper. Otherwise, I'd have mentioned it yesterday.

Walt used to have a partner on the ambulance service, who LOVED Alf very much.
He went so far as to bring his Alf doll to work with him, and Alf was strapped in the
middle seat whenever they were out in the ambulance. Sure hope TVLand starts
showing Alf reruns.

I will see what I can do about getting a couch for the corner. How about one of the round tables with a booth around it? I am sure that before long we could fill it up.

I can't even remember all the people who Mookie and I sent to the corner. I wonder if she can? Of course Keven and Dan were there, but I am not sure who else. That sort of thing happens when you are a day older than 29. [;)] Or is that 2 days older than 29? [;)]

Man, it was raining good today. Lots of thunder and lightning. It was cool! I like the rain!

But, nothing compares to sitting here at the diner, surrounded by friends, AND TRAINS, with delicious food, AND TRAINS! Can I take a nap at a booth, please? I am kind of tired.

Hi CW,
I think it's genetic, sorta like having green eyes, not a thing he can do about it....
He can wear sunglasses, but it dosn't change the color of his eyes!

Dan, on the other hand, is from Texas, so being banned from bars, homes, public places and most restaurants is a given.
I myself have been thrown out of some of the best dives on Highway 90, several times.

That comment about locomutt prowling about, that might explain some of the noises I hear around here in the wee hours. The Diner is too clean for mice, so it has to be something! As I get to know my way about better, I'll start checking the supply areas to see who-OR WHAT- is lurking.
Just out of curiosity, does locomutt have a key to the dessert cooler?
The joe will be hot and waiting for you, and today's special looks to be Cheesburger in Paradise Plates, courtesy of J Buffet and his License 2 Chill tour. Just got back, it was great and there was a double helping of sweethearts in grass skirts and coconut bras!
