Fortunately, my cat (Pookie) is more gentle about reminding me she needs food, or she'd be discovering the joy of flying..... <Note to self - get more cat food>

On the other hand, I never know whether the dog is happy to see me when I get home from work, or if she just wants her packet of moist food.....

NY State fair will be starting up soon. Favorite fare at The Fair includes hot Italian Sausage (with onions and peppers), and "Dinosaur Barbeque," served by a local establishment. Both are "to die for."

Our no #1 cat (Virginia Chessie) has a tendency to walk across the 'puter monitor, then the printer. She's been known to turn on the printer when the power was off,and been kown to print blank pages![:)]

I got heartburn just reading this! But does sound good and I love BBQ!

Trust me - animals think with their stomach first - my previous dog Budz came to either Budz or Hoover (driver's name for her!) You can figure out why she got the nickname Hoover!

Gray, with a little white blaze on her chest. About 12 years old and going strong.

Hey! That chicken was my lunch!

I forget where I read the story of a workplace refrigerator pilferer who had remained undiscovered until....

The business in question manufactured some sort of tile. One of their samples resembled a chocolate brownie, so an enterprising staffer (and likely a victim of the pilferer) placed one of the tiles on a plate and covered it with a paper napkin.

The jig was up for the hapless perpetrator when he decided the brownie looked good. He chipped a tooth when he bit down on it, and, without thinking, hollered "Who put a tile in the refrigerator?!?!?"

He later bought lunch for the entire office.

Joe - not funny -

Tree - actually had someone here that did that a few times. He didn't last long.

Brother Carl - ate it so fast, didn't taste much of anything!

Scott, I back up Tree's comment, the raildriver is faboulious. There expensive though, but worth it. You can always do what I did thoguh, ask your parents to get you it for christmas or your birthday, and if they say no, tell them you'd pay half. What I did, and I'm glad I did it. It adds so much to the MSTS or TRAINZ experience.

You got it Mook: couldn't sleep yesterday morning. Wasn't on the forums long.
We had to go get a new printer all in one. Fooled with that all afternoon, last night
and this morning. Stupid cotton-picking thing wouldn't do what it was supposed
to. Finally took it back earlier, and bought a new one of the model we had
originally. Will be hooking it up shortly.

We are so tired, think supper tonight will be tv dinners. DO NOT FEEL like cooking
at all.[:(][xx(]

We had Swanson's HungryMan dinners. Walt's was a chopped sirloin
beefsteak with whole mushrooms in a butter gravy, with fresh veggies
and brocolli. He says it was a decent meal: he'd eat it again.

I had a chicken dinner: two chicken patties with mashed potatoes and
corn with a brownie for dessert. Very good. [angel]

Back to COOL weather here. Rain ended sometime during the night. Going to
have something like chili, stew, or something just as good and filling. Haven't
decided what yet. Any suggestions?

We just finished supper a few minutes ago. Walt had another Swanson's
Hungryman chopped sirloin beefstake. I ate his second beefstake, and then
got me a bowl of Kroger's Heavenly Hash ice cream. Delicish!!

Now to figure out something for tomorrow.

Spent the day watching antique raceboats speed around the St Lawrence, and had to help local athletic booster club out by enjoying a sausage sandwich and some salt potatoes, along with a glass of lemonade. Later I heard a Hoffman hotdog calling my name, so enjoyed one of those, too.

Gotta cover the regatta again tomorrow, so lunch looks to be about the same thing. Not that that is a bad thing....

Wanted to have some bbq chicken dinner at deshler days but it sold out in 30 min!(wow). But did have a big juicy pizza burger and onion rings. Matt had and mamma had chicken sandwhiches and fries. After an afternoon of trainwatching nothing like sharing some funnel cake and ice cream.

Think I might visit King's again today, and bring back some chicken *** keel for
us. Maybe is Walt wants the chicken, I'll get him the SPICEY. It's way TOO spicey
for me, so I always get the regular. It's plenty spicey for me. BTW, the specials come
with nice, big potato wedges that are SPICEY.

Congratulations, Ed! Hope it stays up and running at least until Christmas or obsolescence, whichever comes first!

Had a Smokehouse Burger for dinner this past noon. Bacon, cheddar, and barbecue sauce. And a salad instead of fries. We have to thank Mookie and Driver for introducing us to this particular restaurant chain--it's become a favorite place for us to take our daughter and her fiance.

Since this post is about the Depot Diner, I won't mention that the name of the restaurant was Ruby Tuesday's.
