Of course, none of these would happen here:

The Restaurant Chronicles
"How much is the $1.99 popcorn chicken?"
"Don't you guys have them 99 cent Whoppers?" -- Asked of a Taco Bell cashier.
"How many pieces are in the eight piece chicken deal?"
"What's the difference?" -- Asked of a waitress when asked if the customer would like breadsticks with or without cheese.
"Do you get rice with your fried rice?"
"Our whipped butter is made with margarine." -- On a menu.
"Excuse me. These ham and cheese rolls -- do they have ham in them?" -- A customer at a bakery cafe.

rvos1979,

No, I'm afraid it's only about a three alarm this time. I tried to get it to five alarm, but
it just didn't turn out. Maybe I should have used two jars of Pace HOT picante sauce!

I'll have me a bowl of CHILI!

Do we have any fried pork rinds, or chicharones as known by some, to go with that?

Good morning all,

My wife and I finally rented "The Station Agent" last night, and liked it. Especially when the eccentric artist runs him off the road twice [(-D]. We also rented "The Whole Ten Yards". Bruce Willis is funnier in this one than the first movie.

I read in yesterday's KC Star that WWE "rassler" Brock Lesnar is trying out for the Minnesota Vikings as a defensive lineman. Get this, he walks away from a 45 million dollar contract with the WWE to RE-LEARN how to play football. He last played football in....high school. Even though Brock is 6-foot-3 and 290 pounds, he was getting manhandled around the line of scrimmage due to keeping his body too high and giving away too much leverage. On the better side, Brock's coaches and team players say he's improving every day, because of his strong work ethic....and physical strength.

THEN, on top of the training, Brock has to sing for the veterans...or wind up being taped to a goal post. The Vikings have a routine that rookies have to sing for the veterans. Hmmmm I wonder how that will turn out.

Take care,

Russell

Joe,

Let me guess: Matt snuck all the chocolate cupcakes, and hid them for himself. But
HOW did squirt guns mysteriously appear?! Shouldn't that be "accidentally appeared?

How many chicken legs did Matt devour, and did you all have any deviled eggs and
potato salad?

Weird Al wrote a song about Chinese food. It was a parody to "Cat in the Craddle," entitled "Cat in the Kettle"

It goes...

"Did you ever think when you eat Chinese?
It ain't pork or chicken, but a fat siamese.
But the food taste great, so you don't complain,
but that's not chicken in your chicken choumein.
It seems to me I ordered Sweet and Sour Pork,
But Garfield's on my fork.
He's purring here on my fork...

There's a cat in the kettle at the Pi King Moon.
The place that I ate everyday at noon.
They can feed you cat and you'll never know.
Once they wrap it up in dough.
Their bright, real crispin' dough.

Chou lin, that's great, I want it more,
As you were dialin' up your buddy at the ol' pet store.
I said not today, I've lost my appotite,
There's two cats in my belly, and they want to fight.
I was suckin' on a Rolaids, and a Tums or two,
When I swear I heard it mew, boy.
And that is where I knew...

There's a cat in the kettle at the Pi King Moon.
I think I gotta stop eating there at noon.
They say that it's beef, or fish, or pork.
But, it's purring here on my fork.
There's a hairball on my fork.

YAY! KAREOKE!

Howdy all, I've been absent recently, my Dad and I went up to Green Bay area and such. One of our stops was teh national railroad museum, which was nice but definately not what I was expecting. I did get to see what I wanted to see though, the Former Wisconsin and Calumet 2 remaining F7's, F7b, and two BL2's in WICT paint but owned by a private collector. Also got to see the Big Boy they have there, and well, all I can say is, Boy! is she a Big Boy! Got ot see a few CN owned trains on the lines around there, and got one really nice picture I'm going to try to get on railpictures.net. Well I got to go, as I got to go finnish catching up on all the topics

Hmmm... first time I read thru the posts... interesting.

I helped a friend move some furniture for his sister yesterday, and their mother took us out to eat at the Sugar Creek Inn, on US-12/WIS-67 north of Elkhorn, WI. Most of us had the stuffed french toast, and it was DELICIOUS!!! Reasonably priced, too. Definitely worth going back, guess I'll have to stop there on my next trip to Janesville!!!

Still drooling,

Dave, You bet you could. It was really neat too. I recomend going up there if your in the area, although that seems unlikely for you.
