Mookie and Brian, thanks for "opening up" for me this morning. Was awake until
after 12:30 this morning, so just woke up about a half hour ago. Brian, while you hold Mookie's oj for her, I' ve got the bacon, sausage,
eggs, hash browns going. Putting the biscuits in the oven as I speak.

Randy, your request is granted: I'm taking hamburger out of the freezer to thaw,
and by 11 a.m,.,there will be 3 big pots of chilli on: mild, medium, and where's
the fire extinguisher.

As far as the forum being a baaaad place, I couldn't agree LESS. I mean really, you all have totally sucked me in[^] CW invited my by to pick up a recipe and you all were so nice that I just have to stop by and chat every once in a while.

Hey, Mudchicken, I can't believe you asked me about my dog hoovering!!! That is one of the first "tricks" we taught her! Whenever we drop some food on the floor we call, "Hoover!" and she'll drop whatever she's doing and run over to vaccume up the mess! She's saved me lots of clean up time!

As much as I'd like to, Jay, I'm two weeks away from getting a PTO day and an attendance bonus at work, and I'd like to get both, thank you very much. You also didn't state whether you could drive a manual or not (mine is a manual shift).

Thanks for getting the chili ready, CW, I'll probably have some tonight after I get home from work. I also see Bergie has been doing a bunch of housekeeping this morning, maybe we should invite him in for some lunch and/or dinner?

TWC was talking a foot of the white stuff on Tug Hill overnight. Haven't heard any actual reports yet, but the radar looked "promising." Got maybe a half inch at the house - hardly worth noting. Certainly not enough to bother with the snowblower...

I'll have some first alarm chili. Left the fire extinguisher home today.

Hello All [:)]

I am back from Missouri again. I left Monday morning and got there about 2 in the afternoon. The TV news talked about all the bad weather they had Sunday night. So far they have confirmed 3 tornados that were F2 and 3 tornados that were F3 and that was just in the southwest corner of the state. My parents are ok and the structures there are ok also. However, just south of Springfield, there was major damage. There were hundreds of homes destroyed or damaged. That was a very nasty system that went through northwest Arkansas and southwest Missouri.

I am certainly glad to hear the puppy is getting better. Duchess Von Levy sends her, "Bark Bark", which is doggy talk for Get Well Soon. [;)]

Now about the forum. [B)] [:0] [8] We certainly have our share of "village idiots." [;)] [:o)] [8D] I have friends and relatives in St. Louis. I also have well, definately not a friend, there also. [}:)] I think a certain Mutt would agree, that not everyone in St. Louis is trustworthy. [;)] And as I have said before, "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then." [;)] [:o)] [:D]

Well after returning to Arkansas this afternoon, I mowed the yard. [:0] The dandylions have already gone to seed this year. The clinging vine grass, or whatever you call it, is growing like nobody's business, and that clover-like, small, purpled flower "junk" is growing like the weed it is. [:(!] [:(] [:(!] I also found enough worms to go fishing and 2 snails. The worms were allowed to go make more worms, however, the snails showed no mercy to my Hostas last year and I showed no mercy to the snails this year. [;)] Fair is Fair. [8D]

Well I am having baked potatoes with the green "stuff", cheese, and diced ham for supper. The dairy industry would certainly love me for the amount of "butter" or whatever it is, that I like on my baked potatoes. [:D] [:p] [:D]

I thought productivity was supposed to get better as one progresses through an order of semi trailers, but it seems to be headed in the opposite direction at work. It seems we are doing less and less units every night. Still haven't heard about the latest order from UPS yet, probably won't untill next week.

Well, the weather people have threatened us all week with snow and cold - let's see if they can hit this one. I don't really want snow and ice, but on the other hand - it would be nice if they could get just one forecast right for 2006. So far it is weather bureau zip/ city 76.

Cof better - Jay is looking a little better, too! Joe is back to do the OJ, so Brian can rest - just not in the hammock!

Duchess didn't have to wash my bowl - I did it - right before I did me. Best tasting face in all of the forum if I say so myself. Modesty prevents me from going any further!

Reminds me of a story - During my time in the Air Force I was stationed in one unit whose mission involved mostly travel. When we were in station and weren't either closing up the last trip or getting ready for the next, we built radio equipment racks.

One troop was merrily turning out a rack a day. He asked the powers that be if he could leave when he finished his fifth rack for the week. They obviously saw no problem with that - until he started finishing up his five racks in four days and taking Friday off completely. "Gee, why don't you come in on Friday and build another rack?" Last I heard he was down to one rack a week...

Good morning, everyone. Looks like I slept late again. That happens when you
stay up well past your normal bedtime.

Breakfast is ready: we've got fried taters, biscuits, sausage, turkey bacon, sausage
gravy, Got another pot of coffee going, and the juice is ready.

Not sure what the outside temp is; But we're supposed to have rain, off & on most
of the day.

Joe, you may need to bring in Sunflower, since our dog seems to not be doing
her usual job on the dishes (lol).

Glad everyone liked the chilli last night. Have plenty more for lunch today.
Mostly the medium and the five alarm chilli. Do I need to make another
pot of the mild chilli?

Spring is definately here, today is cloudy, breezy, and not hot/not cold. Next week is Spring Break for many of the school around here. I hope they enjoy it.

Well today is Monday again. Man, it sure rolls around quick. [:(] I guess that happens because I have 2 weekends every week, the real one, and my weekend. [B)]

I am very busy lately. A bunch of students want to protest the strike because it is blowing their semester. There was cause for concern about a location of where the protest was to be held so there was some legal issues of who owned the property. I had to step in and use my authority to defer the vote until I consulted the city solicitor and the police department on the property and regulations to be followed when picketing.

After the meeting I went to the Fallsview Casino with some friends because I never been to a casino before. I almost won the jackpot 3 times. Darn machine-I find out later that the jackpot is worth $1 million-hehehehe. Oh well-only lost $5.

sorry to hear about the situation.alot of grants and scholarships only cover so much and its based on a time schedule.not only that if a college kid has a part time job to pay for school and can't get their classes I'd be upset too. The chilli is ready for lunches. Did go ahead and make another pot of mild
chilli. Also have grilled cheese sandwiches to go with the chillli.

Now, for supper tonight, we'll have meatloaf, and choice of sides: shelly beans w/
potatoes & onion, or you can have spinach and mashed taters. We'll also have
deviled eggs.

Dessert will be grape or strawberry Jell-O w/Cool Whip.

I love meatloaf - he hates it. Smashed taters is good - but while I love deviled eggs, they make my eyes cross. So will just lick them a little.
