....No they still have them....at least most of them...In fact the rest of Ford and it's satellites are doing well enough to make a profit....It's the North American business that is not turning a profit....Very similar to GM's troubles....Yes, this will really hurt a lot of districts and indivuals. But I suppose it's this way or none of it will survive long term...Sure, on the Fiesta...We had several test cars in our fleet at BWA when I was still on the job....We were working on a transaxle for it...Didn't work out....

Ford has sold off some satellite business operations but still have some popular makes we recognize such as Jaguar, Aston Martin {i believe is another}, and some others that I'm not up on at the minute....Believe they sold Hertz Rental Car operation not too long ago too....

Good morning, everyone. Well, it's now Tuesday: which means I have the Produce
crowd this morning. They'll be rining the doorbell in about 40-45 minutes from now.

So I've got breakfast all ready, on the breakfast warmer bar for you. Coffee is made,
hot water ready for hot tea or hot cocoa, and the juice is made.

I'll be back after I get through with Produce, and post the lunch menu for today.

You've got it, Joe. BLTs for lunch, it is. Got plenty of all the ingredients.
And you'll have a choice of fries ot potato chips to go with the BLTs.

So far, have only had 11 show up to sign in for Produce. But as it gets
closer to 9:00, more will be showing up.

BLTs--I'm there!

Very windy today. I wi***he streets were clearer so my bike and I could blow in to work. The usual bike path is probably ice and/or mud. With the temperatures dropping in the afternoon, though, I think I'll be grateful for the car by tonight.

Trainnutz, you can have your BLT minus the tomato. Know quite a few people
who have tomato allergies.

Supper tonight:

meatloaf, green beans with onion, and mashed taters and gravy.

Had 59 people come for Produce today. Got romaine lettuce, honeydue
melons, 5# bags of red potatoes, 2 pkgs. of Bays English muffins, cans
of Kroger cinnamon-sugar bagels, and apples.

Forgot to mention yesterday, that I heard from Jim (jhh); he's
doing o.k., but is pretty busy.

CW - English muffins/bagels are produce? We must talk!

I will take the meatloaf. Yum! Driver isn't crazy about it, and it is a favorite of mine!

Mookie, sometimes they deliver food items that aren't "produce".
How about a to-go box of leftover roast, taters & carrots for Driver?

Good morning, everyone! Well, here it is, "hump day" again! Getting close
to the weekend, aren't we?

Coffee's on, juice is made, and have hot water for tea or hot chocolate.
Breakfast this morning will be something different this morning:

country fried ham w/red eye gravy, home fries, and scrambled eggs.
We'll also have the usual turkey bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy to
add to the menu.

Lunch today will be: country fried steak (making sure it's real nice and
tender) with milk gravy and mashed taters, and peas and carrots, and
creamed corn with homemade biscuits.

Everyone have a great day, and I'll be back in in a little while. Need to
find Mookie. Think I hear her around here, just need to find her. Too
cold for her to be out on the hammock, so will check her usual hiding
places.

(brownie)^~^(brownie) mmpfff....good!

Got my hair ^~^ and nails !!!! !!!! done last nite. Someone was a little confused and mixed them up. Was going for the old BNSF green and orange look, but wanted the orange on top. [|(]

At least the diner never messes up! Welcome John. Only rule is - don't use the hammock between 6am and 2 pm. It is (ahem) closed for inspection during those hours.

I'll attest to that....[xx(]

Ma Nature is threatening us with all sorts of dire consequences today - up to a foot of snow at higher elevations - but no sign of it yet. Thought it was starting last night. Snowed like the dickens, but quit after a half inch...

It may be hump day, but it's till looking up hill for rest of the week for me. Busy!

"slightly" reduce the caloric intake. But, you know, all these guys needs big meals
like this to keep them working!! [:I][;)]
