Mookie, I don't have a railroad baseball cap, but I do have a Cincinnati
Reds cap you could borrow. And Mutt has an engineer's cap. Maybe
he'd let you borrow it, plus he has a couple of railroad caps. Want us
to send you any of them[?]

And BTW, lunch is now being served!![C=:-)][dinner]

CW - you have never seen me in a cap/hat. I entertain hordes of people in a store when I put a hat/cap on. Nearly cleared a whole floor in an upscale department store in Kansas City years ago - tried on an expensive hat in front of a group of women I was traveling with.....they all fell down on the floor laughing and caused a huge scene.

My head looks like a ping pong ball with a hat on it. So - send no hats/caps. Will just hide until I can wa***he fur back to my duh brown....but thank you for thinking of me. I have a feeling I will be all back to "normal" tomorrow....

CW I think I will be taking some fish and fries now. Can I have tauter (spelling) sauce to go with it please? Oh by the way thanks for cooking up those cinnimon (spelling) rolls this morrning they were delicious!!

I have off from school today but, I do have some studying to do. Can you believe it I already have to prepare myself for a test next week, and I have to give a presentation on Monday about what I want to do in life, and what I want to get out of taking my speech class. Well, ya know I don't want to take speech class at all, but I have to take it as a requirement. Oh well.

Temps here in PA are a little chilly but, the sun is out and about, which is nice. Oh whats also nice is that my grandparents are going away so I get the entire house to myself over the weekend!!!!! Yes.

Hey Carl, Chris might not have to go to Chicago to listen to WFMT. WFMT is a superstation carried on satellite and I have worked at many Cable companys out here on the west coast that carry it.[8D]

Better check, Chad--I think that WFMT is no longer available on cable. Lost a lot of "members" when they had to give it up.

Their loss...

Sarah, that's one speech I'd love to hear!

I didn't know they quit the sat feed. It was a popular station out here for a long time.

Afternoon everyone.......

Sorry I haven't been in in a few weeks, been busy at work. We now have the entire mod center building trailers, which is fine, but now it's like the blind leading the blind. Makes for very interesting days (especially when I found out yesterday that I'm the only one reading the blueprints, the poor guy behind me had to redo all the bolts after he found out that he took out the correct washers, and put in the wrong ones!). Anyway, anyone up for shooting and bucking another 32 drop-frame trailers? Anyone? Anyone?

(dead silence)

Oh well.

Willy, I feel for you about bringing your four door tour bus into action, I spent 85 bucks last night putting 25 gallons of fuel into my contractor's special truck. $3.37 a gallon and climbing, I think diesel will be the first thing to hit $4/gallon. I'm also surprised the Teamsters union hasn't griped about it yet.

Thanks for the fish fry, CW, I'll be in many times for it today and tonight, and some of that apple cider sounds good It's been pretty chilly here, dropped to 23 on Thursday morning, I think this morning was about the same, but it's supposed to warm up for the weekend, just in time for Madison's annual Halloween nuthouse party. I'll be taking bets all weekend as to whether there will be another riot this year, supposedly there will be about 400 or so police in about a six or seven block area. I think that they are going to have just as many problems this year as in past years.

We'll see everyone later.

Sarah, I agree with Carl: I'd love to hear your speech also!!

Randy, welcome back!! Knew somebody had been missing: other than
our illustrious owner, jhhtrainsplanes! Keep making sausage and sausage
gravy for him, but I'm just not sure he's getting in here and eating it.

Keeping the fryer going with the fish, so if any of you want to-go orders for
supper at home tonight, you're more than welcome.

And yes, Sarah, you can always get tarter sauce with your fish!!

CW The chef from the Inn will stop by to lend a hand.

Chad, yes parents gone does mean house party for me!!! I'm inviting the entire township of Springfield and the entire area of Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia to come over to my house. I'm having a couple of kegs with genes (spelling) and I'm going to put some wooden kegs of apple citer on the floor too. Oh and I'm going to have a little haunted house thingie out in the back yard. Oh and I'm going to pay off the police too. Just kidding.... I'm not doing anything in the house except what I normally do.....I don't really have anything to do.

Carl and CW........do you really want to hear and see me give a speech??/ It's not going to be that interesting. Ya know were were you guys when I needed you 1 year ago when I had to give my senior seminar presentation on Railroad Safety in front of half of my high school teachers, school board members, administrators, and students combined (that's the problem when almost everyone in your high school or any building knows you). That was nerve wecking!!!

Not too late for an after-work snack of fried fish, lemon juice and tartar sauce, am I?
(And shrimp sauce to dip the fries in!).

Sarah, I'd love to take you away from that lonely house for some good Midwestern train-watching!

Carl, I DO hope that your warmed up some fried fish for yourself. And,
you know you can always have it with lemon juice and tarter sauce.
Always keep things like items like that on hand, and in good supply!!

Breakfast this morning: good ole country breakfast w/ turkey bacon,
sausage, sausage gravy, biscuits, grits, cream of wheat, scrambled
eggs, toast, jelly, jam, preserves, fried steak, fried porkchops, even
have some fried chicken for breakfast this morning (and, as usual,
it is NOT mudchicken). So everybody have yourselves a very good
breakfast, and it should last you until tonight for supper. (In other words,
stuff yourselves full on breakfast!!)

CW, gotta tell you about lemon wedges. When Ellen was a baby we gave her a piece of lemon to suck on, just to watch the faces she pulled. They were pretty comical, but she always would take the lemon anyway.

This summer, we tried it with her daughter (our granddaughter). Got one sour face, but that was it--she was too busy chomping on that lemon, and she was upset with us when we took it away!
